Sorry about your news, was hoping it would turn out for you this time.

Prettybird · 09/11/2005 00:02

Just to let you know that the third scan confirmed no change and I have an ERPC booked for Thursday.

Probably didn't even need to wait the extra week: have a strong suspicion that the midwives have been misreading the sonographer's report , as she was very surprised to see me again - and after she had confirmed that there was indeed no change, the midwife tried to tell me that the sonographer's report said I needed to come back again next week.

See my full (long!) rant here

Prettybird · 09/11/2005 11:40

Bummer is that I have woken up this morning with a sore throat, so I'm now worried that they may not take me tomorrow after all

sweetkitty · 09/11/2005 11:53

Hvae posted in your other thread can't think of anything else to say ((((((hugs)))))

TracyK · 09/11/2005 12:03

Can I join you ladies for any meet ups next year - am moving back home to Glasgow Feb time??

seb1 · 09/11/2005 12:05

Hi Tracey,

Are you looking forward to moving back? I missed the last one hopefully I'll make the next one.

seb1 · 09/11/2005 12:08

Sorry to hear you sad news Prettybird ((((hugs))))

Prettybird · 09/11/2005 12:12

Tracyk - we're planning on another one sometime in January - not sure where (somewhere in central Scotland or Perth), but I'm sure there will be another one after that.

We finally seem to be getting our act together for meet-ups - there were 7 of us this time (8 if you count Sweet kitty, who was in Princes Square, but dodn't spot us).

And there have been a couple in Stirling - I couldn't go to them as they were mid-week dos.

Yes really looking forward to moving home. ds just loves playing with his cousins and gps. It should also inspire me to shift some weight as I'll be bumping into old cronies who used to know me when I was slim (er)

Prettybird · 09/11/2005 12:35

Thnaks for {{}}} everyone

TracyK - whereabouts in Glasgow are you moving back to?

seb1 · 09/11/2005 12:35

Are you getting all sorted for your move? Guess packing will start after xmas

TracyK · 10/11/2005 09:19

Don't know where to move back to - my mum is Paisley - dh mum is Bearsden. I like Houston - dh likes Killearn or Helensburgh.
Our house is up for sale down here in Englandshire - but crappy time to sell. Will prob have to rent/bridge when we move home.

sweetkitty · 10/11/2005 09:23

Hi TracyK - we made the big move home in September (well technically May but thats another story) it took us 13 months to sell our flat in London and move back up here.

Where are you moving from? We haven't regretted it once (OK maybe once or twice re the weather).

TracyK · 10/11/2005 09:39

Hi Sweetkitty - we're moving from Bedford. I have a sweepstake going to see how long it takes me to say 'bloody rain' when I move home!

seb1 · 10/11/2005 12:22

Houston is nice, good schools, the high school is Gryffe I think. Are you going back to work when you are here. If so depending on where you are working you probably don't want to do the Kingstion Bridge in rush hour

TracyK · 10/11/2005 12:26

I've heard Gryffe is good.
If I go back to work - it'd be part time only - so would be looking for something local ish. I know what you mean about the Kingston Bridge - it's a nightmare at the best of times! I'm used to driving 4 minutes to work!

seb1 · 10/11/2005 12:47

Whereabouts will your dh be working? Plus Houston to Paisley would be easy if your mum was babysitting

Toothache · 10/11/2005 14:07

PB - Take care of yourself.

OP posts:
TracyK · 11/11/2005 08:27

dh will be working from home - so we can really live anywhere. I want to be close to my mums in Paisley - but also my bf is in Bishopbriggs - who I hope to see a lot more of too.
Bloody Kingston Bridge in the middle of them both!
