Morning all.

Sad to be back, and envious of those still away - and those yet to go!

I've skimmed the thread while I was away, but not read properly, so I'll catch up later today. In the meantime:

Here's the spreadsheet

Only two weeks left before our final weigh-in, so might be a good time, if things have slowed down, to consider going back to strict Bootcamp?

Whatever you choose, let's make these last two weeks really good ones.

Good luck everyone Flowers

Sounds delicious, @BIWI . How will you do the cabbage?

Moroccan spiced lamb here, with baba ganoush and crunchy salad of some sort. And hummus and wraps for my partner.

BIWI · 23/03/2024 16:43

I usually parboil the cabbage, then braise it slowly with lots of butter, white pepper and lemon juice.

Very happy this morning. I woke up feeling noticeably flatter around the waist, probably as a result of the huge quantities of water flushing through yesterday, and couldn’t resist getting on the scales. Sure enough, the last pound had gone! My weight now starts with a 15. I’m so chuffed. Carrying on till next weekend, of course. But I have made it!

Very jealous @LilianaVikavanovich I am desperate for some vitamin sea in my life. 20 weeks and counting for me - seems like a long way off but given how fast the year is going, it'll no doubt be here in the blink of an eye.

No Greek yogurt on my Sainsbury’s order this morning (subbed for fat free fromage frais - yuck!) so it'll have to be eggs for breakfast, bacon butty on an SLC roll for lunch and roast beef and all the butter-doused veggies for dinner. I will have to have the obligatory glass of red wine, basically cos beef Grin

One of two footy games cancelled so far, just waiting to hear on this afternoons. But for now I'm going to make the most of my free morning with a bit of a pamper and a leisurely dog and with a podcast.

I've lost nearly a stone, which is what I wanted, just 2 lbs to go, but I'M SO SICK of eating this much fat. I don't feel unwell on it, but I really want to find a way of healthy, sustainable eating that doesn't involve eating such a high level of fat.

but I don't know what it is...

Goodiewhemper · 25/03/2024 06:28

Thank you BIWI and Alltheblack coffee. I am doing a little better but everything still hurts and I feel every single joint is inflamed. To top it all I got a thorn or splinter in the sole of my foot which is extremely painful. I can't get an appointment at the podiatrist this week so dh is going to get a sterile needle today and try and remove it this evening! My weight is down a little but higher than before I started this BC - sigh 😞. My waist is 3cm less though so I guess I will take that for now as a win of sorts. The plan this week is to be a bit stricter than BC light, drink ALL the water and KOKO.

pinknsparkly · 25/03/2024 07:35

I'm back down to a smidgen less than my lowest weight this bootcamp after a bit of a struggle the last few weeks.

My 3.5 yr old (number 1 child) also hopped on the scales with me. They weigh 15.8kg, and our combined weight is pretty much bang on what mine was the day before I have birth to them! Very eye opening!!

Almahart · 25/03/2024 09:01

Recording my lowest weight last week - half a pound above 11 stone and ignoring the galia melon I fell into yesterday.

Am determined to get below 11 stone and to keep going until 10'10 which is my best realistic weight.

Am able to fit into most of my normal wardrobe now and do feel better, so thank you @BIWI as always for whipping us all into shape.

AllTheBlackCoffee · 25/03/2024 09:15

Pinged up almost 2lbs overnight so am assuming my period is due as there’s no other explanation. I was so looking forward to putting a new low on the spreadsheet too. FFS!

Today’s plan
B: Greek yog and cream (tho DH bought Fage despite being told that I don’t like it and it’s too low fat so that was a great start
to my day)
L: stuffed mushrooms and salad
D: sausages, swede mash, broccoli, mange tout

prettybird · 25/03/2024 09:25

Not weighing myself today as I've been feeling miserable with an awful cold, blocked sinuses and cough all weekend Sad and ended up falling into comfort food Blush

No matter how much I drink (and dh has been plying me with rooibos and lemon & ginger tea as well as standard tea) I feel permanently dehydrated with a dry mouth and sore lips Sad - probably because TMI alert I am exuding so much gunk via my nose Shock and am surrounded by piles of grotty tissues Blush

I forgot the explosive sneezing in amongst my symptoms Shock

Welcome back @LilianaVikavanovich, looks beautiful! Sympathy to poorly people, DD has been snuffling this week which means I'm likely to catch it just in time for our trip next week 😡.
Back down to almost my lowest weight and hoping for a good final week of bootcamp, although more than a few potential bumps to get through first. Office tomorrow, meal out on Thursday, family pie-day Saturday and DD's birthday Sunday!!!! I'd like to lose a couple more lb's if possible as that would leave me 1/2 stone to get back into a healthy BMI.
Breakfast of eggs, chorizo, mushrooms and cherry toms fried in butter, then dinner will be beef casserole in the slow cooker with cauliflower and broccoli.
Have a fab week all!
