We've reached the end of the Low Carb Bootcamp so how did you do overall? Add your weigh-in to the Spreadsheet and let us know your plans. Would you like to keep losing weight over the coming week and months? Are you thinking about giving weight maintenance a go? Have you considered introducing intermittent fasting? This thread will continue until the next Bootcamp starts so there will be plenty of support for you.

been uber motivated because our local recycling centre is opening in 10 days times

We have a skip arriving tomorrow. Someone in the household (who is not ShagMe) has made use of weekend lockdown time to thoroughly clear the garage, the back garden, the side of the house, the marquee, and now the loft.

The same someone has also brought quite a lot of shite back from the London flat (work) so we now have two of everything for a kitchen. Hmm

I’m delighted he’s done this because it needed to be done, and it’s nice having him around, but I’m with you venus—I miss my own social life and my friends and my time alone on the house—it’s quite an adjustment having him around all the fecking time.

He would never take my wine, though, as yours did. LTB.

The marquee?! I now have a very different view of ShagMe 👑

"LTB" pmsl

I'm determined to be an Ultra BC goddess from tomorrow! If I take Friday's weight (not tomorrow's weight 🤦🏻‍♀️) then I've got 2 lbs to do until I reach my "it'll do" weight and 7lbs until I reach my sweet spot. It's never going to happen if the current gin/wine line graph remains constant!

BIWI · 24/05/2020 21:48

I am so not looking forward to stepping on the scales tomorrow

AthelstaneTheUnready · 24/05/2020 21:51

12lbs to reach my "it'll do" weight, and about 18 for perfect.

First thing I'm going to do out of the bath tomorrow morning, is paint my toenails with some gold fleck nail varnish I have. Then every time I look down I can remember I'm aiming for goddess, not blob.

AthelstaneTheUnready · 24/05/2020 21:54

Mind you, I've probably expended 11 trillion and 41 billion thousand, one hundred and eleventy, four hundred two ten one (to paraphrase Priti) calories swearing at the Downing Street briefing, so every little helps!

That is absolutely the lockdown spirit, and the bootcamp spirit.

Mind/Body/Soul

It all works together, rather beautifully. Plus you get to have sparkly toenails. What’s not to love?

prettybird · 25/05/2020 00:13

Neither am I BIWI Blush

But that's a good way to view the swearing and expended energy at the inanimate TV Athelstane Wink ....I wonder how many TVs were trashed around the country with people throwing things at them Wink It's certainly one way to boost the economy. Hmm

BrassicaBabe · 25/05/2020 08:41

Ooh, new BC thread is up. Sorry, don't know how to link

venusandmars · 25/05/2020 09:05

The new super-strict leaving lockdown 5 week bootcamp is HERE

Even if you're not doing it all, join us and chat I'll certainly not be doing any skipping, if that's included

Rayna37 · 25/05/2020 09:08

Just popping in to wish you all luck! Not joining the terrifying bootcamp this time as I'm only 2lbs from my it'll do weight (love this idea) and about six from target, and I'm clinging on to the occasional pudding and custard, and not worrying about where on the list my veg is from, for now. Off furlough and back in the office tomorrow so going to need to give myself a break.

I painted my toenails 10 different colours like a paint chart on a whim six weeks ago and thanks to spending so little time in proper shoes, it's still practically pristine. Bringing me joy. Catch up again before long, I'm sure.

BIWI · 25/05/2020 09:38

No skipping @venusandmars Grin

BrassicaBabe · 25/05/2020 17:24

I'm going to say it here because I know you guys will understand me.

I. WANT. WINE 😩😩😩😩

BIWI · 25/05/2020 19:31

WELL YOU CAN'T HAVE ANY!

BrassicaBabe · 25/05/2020 20:16

🤣🤣

venusandmars · 25/05/2020 20:34

Have some water, do something else with your hands - a jigsaw, some knitting. Have a mug of tea in the bath. Eat something with mayonnaise (lettuce and cheese and mayo) wine tastes horrid after mayo. Or clean your teeth with really strong toothpaste - ditto for wine tasting horrible.

And think how good it will be next Monday to see the numbers on the scale lower, or to feel your clothes a little looser. It is worth it.

AthelstaneTheUnready · 26/05/2020 07:23

I opted for toothpaste, Babe, and it did actually help.
