Looks like we are going to need a wee Week 1 Spillover thread, before I start the Week 2 thread on Monday.

Here's the link to the original thread:

.....lots of great advice and support on it. Smile We are all in this together.

Here is the link to the

@GrandOldDukeOfPorkiness well done, get to it! I just put my weight into the spreadsheet and will draw a line under it.

GrandOldDukeOfPorkiness · 15/01/2018 07:12

And phew, in the end I did stay the same as yesterday!

I can’t write into spreadsheets from my phone so could some kind soul add me at 222.6lbs?

SayrraT · 15/01/2018 07:21

grandoldduke you've lost 9lbs this week! Well done!

GrandOldDukeOfPorkiness · 15/01/2018 07:23

Thank you! I feel a bit of a fraud as my starting weight was after a day of food excess so was probably artificially higher than a proper baseline if you see what I mean. But I am very pleased and grateful to you all :)

TheSeasonOfTheWitch · 15/01/2018 07:31

3 lbs off for me this week which is ok as I has my whoosh before we started.

NSV: no longer achy in the morning and my tight jeans are comfortable!

Yesterday I gave a massive bag of clothes to charity that all contained clothes that don't flatter, too old, never worn and even v slightly loose. I've dug our all my old clothes pre dc3 and they are hanging in my wardrobe, ready to be worn!

SayrraT · 15/01/2018 07:53

I'm 2lbs down this week and 5lbs down since start of January Grin

MumOfAPickle · 15/01/2018 08:00

3lbs off! Very pleased with that Grin

weebarra · 15/01/2018 08:01

4lbs in a week. Happy with that.

PennyMise · 15/01/2018 08:05

2.3lb down for me. I need to put my info into the spreadsheet. My clothes fit better so it feels a lot more than 2.3lb - IYSWIM. I might need to cut down on the cheese lurve to see better results Grin

Week 2 Thread See you there to celebrate the success and continue our progress! Smile

2lb up - that pesky blip of unknown origin has decided to stick around for today's weigh in. Sigh.

Not (much!) deterred - koko. But it's frustrating when I know I'm sticking to the rules, not cheating, AND walking five miles a day with the dogs. That's gotta count for something, right...? I'll get the better of it if it bloody kills me.

Anyway, despite the crap numbers on the scales, I do feel good, people are starting to see a difference, and I think I might be going down in clothes size, though I'm hibernating in stretchy/baggy things for a bit longer so I can emerge into fabulousness in the Spring. (I'm hoping it'll be this Spring, but if it takes a bit longer, then I'm ok with that.)

B: Chicken liver pate & celery
L: -
D: Heck sausages, celeriac mash, buttered sprouts

abbey44 · 15/01/2018 16:50

Oops, thought I'd posted that on Week 2. Will copy it on there.

Can I still
Join ?

prettybird · 16/01/2018 16:03

Of course you can Smile - people can jump into the Boot Camp threads.

Just make sure to do the full two weeks of Boot Camp before moving onto Boot Camp Light.

The Rules are on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness as well as in the first post of the (full) Week 1 thread that preceded this one (link in the first post, I think).

Read through as much of the first thread as you can as it may answer some of your questions - and come and join us on the Week 2 thread. Smile

I am away again. Fantastic mainly veggie food here and I’ve pretty much been able to stay with bc. I say mostly because the salad today had peas in it and I did have a small bowl of spiced pumpkin soup. I kept away from the freshly baked bread though and the popadoms with the curry this evening. Lots of water too much coffee though.

I cannot bring myself to get on the scales no idea why. I have had a good week and the previous week too. Anyway sometimes
I don’t want to be inside my own head so am just going to keep checking in here, ignore the scales until I want to get back on them. Shakes head in confusion Confused

prettybird · 16/01/2018 23:43

@BlackMozart - we're on the Week 2 thread now Smile

Sounds like you are doing really well in difficult circumstances: trying to keep to the principles.

You don't need to step on the scales unless and until you want to. The NSVs are just as important - if not more important - than the Scales Victories. Have you taken your measurements? You don't need to post them but they are a good motivator.
