Morning all, had a good night at halloween party

Belle-I prob wouldnt have been pleased that if my mum ever got invloved in a relationship so i didnt really think about my first comment.

Hi to anyone else, hope uve all had a good weekend. No new dates set up yet for me, been back on pof, sent a few messages but nothing more than that so far, one bloke after 3 messages asked me for my msn to chat, have added him yet tho.

it was ok, i only did it because i promised the kids i would

surprisingly we had a couple of older kids round this year , no outfits asking for trick or treat

they were polite tho, i told them they could have a sweet for being cheeky but to make a costume next year

well exbf finally got in touch after I sent him some frivolous texts!!

He said 'his life was a mess and he needed to sort it out' saying he would be back in touch when he'd done that.

I know he will and imagine it must have been hard to say it (pride and ego). I will def back off now but told him if he wanted help to ask. I will always have strong feelings for him whatever happens.

Must admit made me feel quite for him and I hope he sorts out whatever it is.

Also wh rang me in the early hours on his way home from a night out.

Was up again at 7.45 and ds2 and I soaked through at football.

seen noir guy. he's kinda cute in a bald way. but he'd actually pulled at a party before noir. lol. we said hi but then he explained. lol. he's texting me today apologising... what for ..?? we had not agreed it was a date, just to meet and see what we looked like iykwim.

may have possibly broken my wrist. or very least very badly sprained. but no baby sitter so i can go to A&E

and i have a confession......in our gang of guys. there's one i've always kinda liked. but had no inclination of going there as we're all friends. .. then he moved to coventry. he was back up for noir. when he seen me his eyes practically popped out his skull (and he had these really weird werewolves eyes lenses.lol)

we were all very very very drunk. alot happened. and somehow i ended up leaving the after party. went to his. lost his keys (turned out they were in my handbag ), had to wake his mum up at 6am to get in the house.

we were very naughty. i really wasn't expecting him to be anything like he was.

then in morning having cup of tea with his mum who was blooming amazing considering we'd woke her at 6am!!!

and now he's back to coventry today.

It's quiet here today!

I'm at home still suffering with this cold, if i can get rid of it hopefully can plan date with bloke from leeds as he is now not going away to work.

first day back to school and ds2 is sent home ill, i take him to the doctor who tell me he has a chest infection and swine flu

it didnt even occur to me he may have swine flu, but now looking at the check list it's clear he has

i call exh and his reaction is to say he hopes he isnt too bad, not frigging offer of helping out

oh well i managed all this time without him

no vomiting after the second dose of tamiflu, so thats good news

After winter vomiting virus, antibiotics for secondary bacterial infection and parvovirus dd is still coughing all night and I NEED sleep!! I am coughing too, pondering antibiotics for me. I am tired. Did I mention? And work is mad.

And bf is wonderful. Am I too 'loved up' for this thread? Will try and be encouraging like asbm. Good for you, belle. And rj glad you had a fab time. We have so much to learn from each other... but despite bf being overseas til Friday I am still smitten and, I think, very lucky.

well he is definitely perkier this evening, he managed to eat some dinner, and the nap seems to have helped too, as he is currently wide awake talking to me 19 to the dozen

Oh lou, I know maybe 1/4 of the feeling as I just have one... tho she has had a continuous bug for the two months at her new nursery. I hope he sleeps better than you imagined!

I'm a divorced specimen and have been 'seeing' a lovely man for 8 months now.

But... (and there always is one with me)
It's not really moving on.

I'm really keen to get perspective from others and see what you think?

I'll give you a brief rundown.

He's a very cautious character, quite conservative and a natural loner I guess.

I only see him one day a week, he likes staying at home and frets about his ironing and other such stuff.

He thinks we have a great relationship and certainly thinks of what we have as such.

He withdraws very easily when he is stressed.

I know that some would say 'easy, he's not available ie another woman' but I'm positive it isn't this, he just seems a really odd character.

I could say much more but will hang on and see what your initial thoughts are.

Hope I'm not hijacking here, just desparate for some anwers!
