NUTTY, how high can your bill be?
i use mine all the time. international calls, mobile calls thelot. and it is nt that high.

nutcracker · 27/08/2007 13:27

Not sure tbh Cylon. It's normally around £45 for the phone, internet and tv, but i reckon it could be double that.

o.
i guess i am a pampered kept woman then. i dot know how much ours is.
my mobile is thirty, but sine i got it, the landline is redced toalmost zero.

nutcracker · 27/08/2007 13:34

I have a mobile but never have any credit on it, only really have it incase someone needs to get hold of me whilst I am out.

Someone has just contacted me about a possible house swap but i'm not sure what to do now. I feel selfish for even considering it.

Consider it.

Think of yourself.

Put yourself first for once!

Fck him! Let him go to hell. He is trying* to make you jealous. Do you really picture yourself back in the same situation you were in this time last year?

nutcracker · 27/08/2007 13:46

No, I definatly don't want him back, but it still hurts which is annoying because I don't want it to hurt.

I'm not sure the kids or my mum would forgive me for moving. The kids are settled at school and they like the house, they all have a room of their own, whereas if i move the dd's will have to share.
Also the local secondary school isn't as good as the 3 fantastic ones here.

If I only had to consider myself then i'd go tommorow.

Mm, I know. It's always easier to give advice than it is to take it. It's hard to know what to do for the best isn't it?

You don't want him back, but you don't want anyone else to have him, is that it? Or have I got it wrong?

My guess is that you want you & he to be on friendly terms for the sake of the children, but it's a hard thing to do.

As for learning to say no, practice it. Is there any confidence building classes or self assertive classes at your local college? A friend of mine has just done a self confidence course & the change in her is amazing!

nutcracker · 27/08/2007 13:53

I don't mind if he finds someone else I really don't, I just don't want it to be someone I know, someone on my doorstep who I have to see nearly every day.

Not sure I even have enough confidence to do a confidence or asertivness class, which speaks volumes doesn't it.

Am also crap mum aswell as stupid. Have barely said 2 words to the kids all day, and those I have said haven't been great.

Mind you I am doing their fave for tea, maybe that will earn back some points.

Honestly though, if I had a mum like me, i'd runaway.

nutcracker your a good mum you just have bad days & sometimes more than usual but i think any single mum who says she doesnt have days when she thinks shes a bad mum would be lying

Thankfully I am feeling slightly better today.

Not doing a fat lot, but don't feel like I want to stay in bed all day and never venture out again like I did yesterday.

Whereabouts in Brum are you? Im in Telford, but (ir)regularly visit my bro who lives in Smethwick, and would be happy to meet at a park somewhere with kids (I have ds age 5) if you want some time out.
