have been on here 5 years and only meet one pompey mumsnetter, really need a meet up!

Morning ladies, I won't be there I'm afraid. My little 5 year old had an accident on the trampoline last night and has broken his leg.
Spent most of the night at QA.
He was so brave bless him.
I will now be spending the day explaining myself to SS and hope I still have a job at the end of the day

Oh Dolphin hope your ds is ok

SS will know it was an accident. Accidents happen to everybody. You know you look after all your dc's well. I am so for you that you should have to feel like this you are a great fc and you know it.

im sure they will understand, kids hurt themselves (infact it the kid-law to have one summer where you break something) and you being his fc dont make you have the power to stop them!

I've spoken to my SW and LOs and they are both being lovely and very supportive.

My cousins FC broke his arm 2 years ago and she got into a 2 a 8 about it but ss were fine understood that LO do these things.

Hopefully we can meet in half term and fc is better and you can join us.

i need to get my eyebrow repierced (oh how i miss it) but it will cost me £30 but lady luck have a offer on tongue piercing for £10 for one week in september!!! which should i get done!!???

right bf has said she will pay for me to have my eyebrow re-done for my birthday so now i just got to decide whether i have the guts to do my tongue! {hand holding would be required}

Hello, glad ds had a nice time mumbar. What caused the hives poor thing.
Spent 4 hours at fracture clinic yesterday getting LO plastered. He is not a good patient he's refusing to even try walking on frame or crutches at the moment. He is a very scared child so this has been a huge shock for him, bless. Got to go back for another x ray on wednesday. Typical dh is still working in London so I'm getting taxis everywhere. I can claim expenses though so thats ok.

Dh home today so we are going to see the dinosaur in Portsmouth later.

I am working the next 3 Saturdays helping run a Skills to foster course so could only do meet ups on a Sunday. Don't worry if thats not good for you lot I will hunt you all down at some point soon.

Take swimming stuff for your dc's and try the new splash pool out which is across common from there although don't forget the suncream

Hi all ds looks like he's been burnt with acid today - not sure why but I don't think its anything my parents did tbh as they gave him antihistamine as soon as it started.

I have been up all night with toothache so seeing dentist at 2pm - think I may have an abscess.

Doplhin - glad your getting out today sorry it's been a rough few days for you. Can you borrow a wheelchair for FDS - think red cross loan them?

Been to dentist got antibiotics as he thinks its an infection in the nerve - in bloody agony and constantly rinsing mouth out with water as that helps.

DS face getting better which is good.

going to fair tonight which i'm looking forward too.
