If anyone is at a loose end today (albeit short notice!) You are most welcome at mine from 2pm onwards,as I am having my DD1's "Baby Group" over. So the children here will be 3.9 years and their siblings range from 2yrs to 20 Days!! E mail me at [email protected] for address and directions.If weather is fine (hoping!)we will be in the garden,and possibly have the Paddling Pool out (very optimistic!!)If not,Pandemonium fun inside!

We're around next Thursday too, how about the big play area at Castle park? If it's the morning, it will be me and DD, if it's the afternoon, it will be DS too (starts nursery on Mon / Thurs mornings from next week)

Afternoons are all we can do I am afraid. I know that is inconvienent for some of you but Alex naps in the morning. I was thinking maybe we could do every other week am/pm meetups so everyone got included.

nursejo - this is so funny obviously I've not met you in RL yet so dont know what you look like but I dreamt about you last night!!! I threw a party at my house and there was this stage set up and a band and a woman got up to sing and someone said to me "that's nursejo!" and I was like "wow!!!" and really impressed!! And you had the whole party doing this dance/congo line thing it was great fun!

Wow!! You have vivid dreams! I do like to sing,and getting everyone up doing the Congo sounds like something I'd do at a Family PartyYou must be having a premonition or something! Sounds like a good party though......

Im happy to do Mornings or afternoons,sometimes with or without DD1 due to Nursery.

Well as far as I know I can do the afternoons,as can SP I believe as she like me,gets the girls to fit in with her routine rather than the other way round,but thats easier when they are older,and when you have more than one,naps have to be as and when sometimes.Podglet is saying am or pm suits her

So its just Mung (when is she back?)Twinkie is it? (anyone else I have forgotten?)to check with.

Eeny, i'm sorry to hear that your little one was not well last week. My DS was a bit poorly over the weekend as well, which made our weekend in Brighton more hard work than it would normally be! - was still fun though. I think I should be able to to make it to yours this coming Saturday, just need to check with DP. No idea what i am supposed to bring though - will have to put my thinking cap on! can you give me some ideas...

Hope everyone elses babies are feeling better now. Pooter that sounds like a dreadful time you had with DS , the very thought fills me with terror! hope your'e all recovered.

Castle Park sounds good Podglet, have to see if DD1 is brave enough to go on the helter-skelter slide!

Depends what time we meet up SP,as will be picking DD1 up at 1pm from Nursery.(down where LA Fitness is)Quite a trek though I'd have to take the Double Buggy,as DD1 wouldnt walk that far.

I went to The Range today and got loads of stuff to make Alex's book. If anyone wants ideas email or call me! There are lots of ways you can do it. Pooter is making like A5 pages and laminating them and punching holes and tying them together. I bought a blank scrapbook and lots of cool paper/stickers etc to fill it with. Then you need photos of your DC and write up a little something because its supposed to be more like a book than a photo album, you know?

So it would go something like "DC was born blah blah blah and likes lawnmowers and daffofils" or whatever. You can make it like fiction and your DC is the character or like a biography. Whatever you want! Anyway email me if you want more details we are meeting at mine this Saturday at 8 - if there are lots of us I might need a couple of you to bring a bottle because I am rather poor at the moment and cant afford to buy lots of bottles of wine!

This book thing sounds great. I have been collecting things to do something similar, so seeing one in 'the flesh' would be great. I have missed out on the meeting it seems...thats a shame.

Adventureland is easier for me to get to (sorry) if it's pouring. I can get the bus straight to the station.

I prefer Adventureland to Go Bananas. I am fully prepared to kit out in rain coats and wellies though...
