I know we normally do Thursdays but tomorrow is kind of short notice. Anyone up for next Thurs - the 5th of June? Or sooner if you have any other ideas? BTW you are all welcome at mine this Saturday night at 8 - email me for more details if you are interested

Ok, just for those who haven't met me yet, I will be the one looking around wildly because I can't see anyone I know. I will have a double side by side buggy with a big DS on one side and a tiny DD on the other. I am quite short (5'3") and will be bumping into the furniture a) because I can't see past the end of the buggy and b) because I haven't learnt the width of the new buggy yet

I'll be struggling with Side-by-side Double Buggy too Podglet,so we can cause an obstruction together along with SP and her Phil N'Ted!!

I will be setting off at 12.00pm,as I have to pick up DD1 at 12.30pm now,Is anyone else walking down at that time?

I know we discussed this earlier,but just confirming,as plans may have changed.

Hi everyone!! Firstly I have to apologise! I REALLY wanted to do todays meet up and I cant simply because I havent got any money. Actually NO money til tomorrow. So no money for bus fare or entrance into Adventureland. I am really sorry I know you are all meeting in the afternoon initially because I said I couldnt do a morning. I hope you all have a great time though! We are having lots of money problems right now due to the usual unexpected (oxymoron???) car repairs we badly need a new one but cant afford it right now.

Anyway... sigh. Am very about not joining you! Oh well next time I promise!

No one has missed out on the book making thing! Lucyfer and I did it last Saturday but trust me it takes a long time so more than one weekend will be needed! I was thinking of doing it again THIS saturday but a couple people cant make it again so am happy to do it the following Saturday if anyone wants to!

Eeny I am off to Colchester about 11 ish - I can come and get you and I will treat you and DS to Adventureland - well DH will and he should be paying at the moment because he is being a prat!

Please come - it really isn't a huge deal for me - DS can sleep on the way there in the car - we can sit and have a coffee (on me as we always have one as DS likes having a chocolato) and you can help me find a handbag and some jewellery (costume of course) to go with a pair of shoes - you would be doing me a favour helping me out choosing honestly!

Is Adventureland still on?

I know SP made the final decision to avoid confusion,but the day has started really nicely.

Problem is,probably no-one will see this until later.

Seems a shame though, as we could have gone to the Park,and maybe someone could've picked you up Eeny (money not an issue then)

Oh well I guess next week will come around quick enough......Hope to see you then.

Park not too much of a good idea for me at the mo after walking round the shops for an hour I will probably be crippled and DS is soooo looking forward to Adventureland now!

CRAP!!! Twinkie I am so sorry THANK YOU so much!!!! I REALLY appreciate your very sweet offer!! And I totally would have taken you up on it too. DS went down for his nap at 10:30 and as I thought I had nothing better to do I took a nap as well so didnt see this message otherwise I'd have been there in a heartbeat!!! Please ask me to go shopping with you again!! I LOVE shopping!!!!

Did you all have fun anyway? Really wish I could have been there! Next week I shall move heaven and earth for it!

Oooohhhh it has to be calorie free cake though - can come after have dropped H off at school or a bit later up to you?

Colposcopy is normally fine - are they justtaking the cells or burning them off - you may need a nose peg if they are burning them off - smells like roast meat!! (Sorry!!!)

Twinkie...come when you want. Thanks for the tip...I think! They have said that if they find cell changes then they will do a biopsy there and then. Not sure whether they will be burning any off though. I'm just going with an open mind and will try not to be shocked by any actions.

Hiya All,

Would have loved to have made it to see you all on Thursday, but have had rather a hectic week. My mum was down all week and so I had to entertain and amuse her!!! (left a message re: this on Wednesday night but it wasn't posted in the end - I think my internet connection must have gone down as i sent it - its always doing that!)

Not sure what you are all up to next Thursday. We have to go to see the nurse in the morning, but I am heading into town in the afternoon to bribe the kids with stuff for our holiday (no other way to get them in to the doctors for injections!). If any one happens to be down the park (Castle Park) in the 'arvo, we could join you...

Failing that (and don't make any special plans cos the kids might be too traumatised to go out!!) hopefully we see you all again in July as we are off on holidays!! Hooray! can't wait!

Plus i go part time in July and will only be working three days a week Hip Hip Hooray!

Just try to let me know if you are coming so I can get prepared if there is going to be 2 of us or 5 of us or whatever!! If there are lots of us I might ask one or two people to be kind enough to bring a bottle as I am on a rather pathetic budget right now so will only be able to provide one or two I guess! Hi Mung, yes two days off should give me a few more options! We are off to Sardinia - got a really great deal on flights for all four of us - just worried about the exchange rate now!! still as long the sun shines how expensive can swimming be???

Yes I had a lovely time that Saturday night too! It was good fun staying up late and giggling lots. I have actually worked on the book a fair amount - made good progress I think and am happy with it after the crayon disaster! Sorry you cant make it this week by the way but I am sure it will be done many times!

Never been to Sardinia! Bet its lovely! When are you going?

Is it just Twinkie and me on Thursday? If so, could I (and DD, as DS will be at pre school) possible come to you Twinkie? Its a bit cheeky, but I really need to get out of the house, as building work has started next door and I am struggling to cope with the disruption to my little, simple life. If anyone else wants to join in then I'll have it at mine, as you have held plenty of get togethers and I did suggest it.
