eenybeeny · 01/05/2008 18:36

I do! I would need a lift and I couldnt go til 1ish like today as Alex tends to nap from 11-1. Sorry to be a pain! Sounds good though!

eenybeeny · 01/05/2008 18:49

Oh I have 2 umbrellas at my house a pretty grown ups one and a little childrens one! Will look after them til I see whoever owns them next! Just let me know who you are!

pooter · 01/05/2008 19:12

hiya, thanks eeny, david and i had a lovely time today.

Thursdays are not usually good days for us as we sometimes meet our friends from our NCT antenatal group, but we will come if we can - thanks mung.

We are going to Dickensworld tommorrow to meet up with my sil and nephew - anyone been?

Twinkie, did you find the dog's owner? I love your green coat bye the way!

purpleflower · 01/05/2008 19:13

Sorry Adam is in for his op on Thursday. Would've loved to though

(have emailed you eeny)

SparklyPrincess · 01/05/2008 19:24

Would love to - but depends how DD1 is getting on...

Would it be ok for me to pop round and pick up DD's jumpers at some point? Will leave them and their germs in the car! Tomorrow or Saturday morning would be ideal as I could do with them at the weekend. Let me know when is most convenient...

See you all soon ... J xx

eenybeeny · 01/05/2008 20:16

Will be thinking of you Thurs Purple! Am about to email you back!

Glad you all had a good time! We did too and are really looking forward to another meet up!

lucyfer2000 · 01/05/2008 22:12

Hi Mung,

That sounds good to us! If you decide to do it then just let us know when is a good time.

Eeny we had a really nice time today and DD said she had a lovely time too. It does tend to take her a good couple of hours to warm up and loosen up a bit with new people. I hope your house wasn't too trashed afterwards! fantastic array of cakes!!

Come on Twinkie, don't keep us in suspense -dying to now what happened to little doggy! shall not forget the image of you running along with rope lead in a hurry! I hope it was a happy reunion in the end and your good deed was fulfilled!

Great to meet everyone today and Coggeshall park is fab - can't quite believe how much of it we seemed to bring home though! Purple Flower - you will definitely agree with this!

lucyfer2000 · 01/05/2008 22:13

p.s. Sophie, i wish i had known you didn't have a lift in Coggeshall today we could have taken you!

Nursejo · 01/05/2008 22:42

Mung,We would love to come.My DD2 will be well clear of "The Pox" by then, should be clear by now,but I'm being overcautious. We could make it just after 1pm as my DD1 is at Nursery until then.Is that ok? Had a nice afternoon meeting SparklyPrincess and her DD's,comparing spots! Look forward to meeting the rest of you.Could you E mail me your address please? My E Mail is [email protected] Thanks.

Nursejo · 01/05/2008 22:44

SparklyPrincess, Thanks for a great afternoon,it was so nice to meet you and your girls.

Mung · 02/05/2008 08:16

I would prefer the morning as Dcs both sleep in the afternoon. DS has pre school but I will definitely be home by 10 and will have to leave again by 12.15.

Good luck PF. I hope DS is OK Thursday.

SP- I am over your way Saturday PM. DO you want me to drop the jumpers or is it too late? I will be about this PM whilst Dcs sleep.

Come on Twinkie...are you now the proud owner of a scraggy dog? How is your DS? Is his vocabulary still getting wider ?

OP posts:
Nursejo · 02/05/2008 08:28

Ok Mung,I could make it after I have dropped DD1 off, about 10.15am ish?

Mung · 02/05/2008 08:30

I have emailed directions to you Nursejo. 10.15 is fine.

OP posts:
eenybeeny · 02/05/2008 09:00

Well you go ahead and do it whenever it is best for everyone - I will try to fit in but I probably wont be able to go if its a morning thing. Will keep trying to sort a good time out for everyone though! And look in CHAT for TWINKIE's name!!!
x

eenybeeny · 02/05/2008 09:03

oh and lucy glad you and DC had a good time!! We love the park too!

eenybeeny · 02/05/2008 12:03

The umbrellas were Twinkies!

Twinkie it was lovely to see you and DS today sorry my DS wasnt awake to play!

SparklyPrincess · 02/05/2008 12:26

Nice to meet you too, NurseJo - hope DD1 enoyed being a baby ... no idea what all that was about! Hopefully my DD1 will be in a more playful mood next time you see her!

Mung, we're out Saturday pm - not sure I'll be able to get over this pm. Need to put both down for a good sleep as didn't have a great night and also can't find my purse which means I can't put any -petrol- diesel (god, that could get messy...) in the -car- bus so I might run out on the A12...

If you're passing, could you shove them through the door? Don't worry if you're not, I'll sort something out next week!

Sorry for the waffle - need sleep...

Mung · 02/05/2008 13:44

I can post them through thats fine SP
GO TO BED!

OP posts:
SparklyPrincess · 02/05/2008 14:09

Aah, but if I go to bed, the kids will wake up! They're sly little so and so's...

Saz126 · 02/05/2008 14:12

Hi Mung, Thursday should be good for us. DS is mad on "choo-choo's" at the moment, so we will get the train - is it easy enough to get from station, I know distance is fine, but is there a way over the main road without having to dodge the traffic?! Should be at yours for just before 10.30 if that's ok.

Mung · 02/05/2008 14:26

Hi Saz, not sure what time the trains arrive, but I drop DS off at pre school and come back past the station. I could pick you up if you want. Your DS could fit into my DS's car seat. If not, you can cross the road, although it can be a bit of a wait at times:
Off train and over bridge to otherside of platform (lots of steps and no lift-very annoying)
Come out of station and cross the first roan and head towards the bus stop. From there you can see the bridge that crosses the A12. Crossing there can be a bit of a pain. Once you have crossed the bridge cross the road to the same side as the shops and then just keep walking straight on until you get to my road.

Saz126 · 02/05/2008 14:45

Hi Mung, that's fine - will give it a go and bring the little buggy so I can get it up the stairs. See you Thursday.

Twinkie1 · 06/05/2008 12:36

Dog got home eventually guys - will fill you all in when I see you - I did spend half the night dettolling the floor though - it was very smelly and dropped hair everywhere!

Ds has finally stopped saying bloody dog! DH impressed that he sounds so posh when he says it - least I am starting to swear with less of a Sarf London lilt!

I am quite happy to give someone a lift - just let me know first come first served - what time you want us? - 10.15? That will just about give me time to nip to Colchester after dropping off DD at school - may make a Pavlova if I feel up to it after this coming to work mallarky!

Mung · 06/05/2008 13:44

Right then ladies...given the beautiful weather I thought we could have a picnic lunch at mine if you fancy staying longer. It will really be a picnic, as my outdoor table needs a bit of TLC and it wont get that between now and Thursday!

I can make some lunch for us all (and if Twinkie brings a pavlova...did you mean that you were going to make that for us or for DH) and we can sit in the garden on blankets and cushions.

Let me know if you want to stay for lunch, so taht I know how much to make.

OP posts:
SparklyPrincess · 06/05/2008 15:04

Lol at DS swearing poshly. DD1 told DD2 to p* off the other day ... I'm fairly certain I haven't taught her that! Other things possibly, but that's not one of mine!

Will see you all Thursday if we're scabbed up.

Sorry that's not very helpful on the lunch front, Mung! Will make a judgement on the spotty one tomorrow night...
