oh - and anyone still bfing - its national breastfeeding awareness week this week - and i will be taking part in a "mass breastfeed" in lions walk in colchester at 1.30 on tuesday. So feel free to come along and join in, or just point and stare!!

dont know if there is a new thread or not or what is being planned for this or next week - I forgot I have a doctors appointment tomorrow afternoon so I wont be able to do anything. Hope we can sort something out for next week!

Guess it's a bit late to sort something out now. Think I'm going to head over to the garden centre today. Can never quite face the thought of having to do the buying AND the planting all at the same time for some reason. Oh, and the digging, but surely that's a dh job?

Would love to get together with some other mums as I don't really know anyone else with children.

Thinking of you Saz and PF. I hope you are both OK. I know that feeling Saz. In fact my brother reckons my Nana is in my house anyway, so she is kind of looking after me still.

Pod...hope you manage to meet up with one of the girls soon. Just looked in on your other thread. Keep us posted...

Hi Purple I am thinking of you today. Will email you as soon as I can! Saz I am sorry for you as well!! Its awful isnt it! I am so attached to my Grandparents and I know they dont have long with us - and they are in another country which is awful!

Podglet do you drive? You and your kids can come to mine tomorrow if you want. For that matter its an open invitation to anyone on this thread! I think you all have my email if not my phone number so if you want to sort something out email/call me. DS naps from around 11-1 appox but would be happy to do something in the afternoon!

thats ok we will meet you soon I hope! There are some good soft play places in Colchester we could all meet at. I dont drive either so afraid some of the other kind Mums here give me lifts

What, you mean you don't get the bus like the poor people do??? (My SIL's saying, not mine I hasten to add, I live on buses!) However, there is only about 1 bus a week as I remember to you (Coggeshall?)

wow yes I am in Coggeshall how did you remember that? There is a bus every hour but it just goes to Colchester town centre... I dont know Colchester very well so lack in confidence. I dont know I dont rule it out but I am not great with it!

Eeny - if you can get to Colchester town centre you can get to most places! The soft play places are only about 15 mins north, Castle Park in town is really good and its about 20 mins north to Highwoods. I'll give you a tour sometime!

ok! I will take you up on that. I am just soooooo bad with directions. Seriously bad. And get really overwhelmed out on my own with DS I dont mind if I am with people but at the moment dont like leaving what is familiar to me when I am alone with DS.

Podglet, hopefully you can come to the next meet up? As you don't drive is there anywhere you can suggest for the next meet up that's easy for you to walk to? (I would offer to drive you, but can't drive either - I live on the trains!)
