Anyone fancy coming to my place next Thursday?

Not sure whether we can come Mung - swimming then doctors appt. Whatever we do we wont be staying for dinner - although i can certainly vouch for Mung's catering everyone! I'll have a think about how i can pack everything in, then post again. bye for now x

Sounds great Mung but we will need to head off at about 12.15. I will probably bring a sandwich for DS though so that he can have his lunch before we head home as he still eats fairly early. Anything else I can bring along?

As per bloody usual DH's shift changed so I couldn't make it and now my laptop has died on me so am waiting to hear if it is going to be possible to save it so the only method of communication is by the good old phone - SP and Mung - you have my numbers so let me know if plans change! I'll text you Mung if I can't make it up to yours!

How does everyone feel about a trip to frinton one day - we could go on the train so the kiddies would have double the fun!

Saz...if you want I could put up a cot for DS to have a nap. But, I understand if its easier for him to sleep at home (and for you to have a rest!)

Right - will bring a pavlova - will be up at god awful o clock to make it but what the hell!

Twinkie, you are domestic goddess for sure! I think we'll be OK on the train thanks, then we can leave for train and you can leave when you want. Mung, thanks for offer of cot but he tends not to go down for nap if he knows he's missing out on fun. Always happy to sleep if it's just Mummy at home..how dull...yawn! xx

Mung, have just realised (how could I have forgotten??)that I have to have a weigh in tomorrow morning after I drop my DD1 off at Nursery,and pick up some more disgusting delicious supplies while I am there.If I can still make it after I will pop along for an hour.

I so wish I could go but Alex really wont sleep anywhere but home or the car and even then he has to be in the car for ages before he drops. I would LOVE to do anything with you all in the afternoon some time though. Am very of you all having fun while I am at home doing the same old same old! Really have a lovely time though!! x

Just been trying to catch up on all the comments on the thread as usual - as have been away on a course.

We would love to come around and see you tomorrow. DD is desperate to go to a dancing class in Shrub End first though. It finishes at 10.30 so we shall pop around afterwards if that is ok? A picnic sounds lovely, is there any thing you can think of that we could bring?

How was it? What about next week? Do you think we could alternate mornings and afternoons as some of us cant make some and some cant make others? I am happy to host again and go to the park or whatever.

Hey Mung, you will be glad to know that it appears my DD is not coming down with whooping cough after all. Just me being an over paranoid mother!! Real shame that we missed cavorting around your garden in the sunshine! Another day it will have to be...!

Next Thursday, i am taking both the kids to have injections at the doctors in the morning - so who knows how they will be feeling in the afternoon, but hopefully we will see you all again soon.
