Hi Ladies,

After the fun Thursday night without children, how about a Thursday with children?

We could take a walk in Highwoods Country park if the weather is good or go to Adventureland if the weather is bad.

Hopefully we will have some new faces join us too...

How about 17th or 24th?

My dd goes to Myland Playgroup 3 sessions a week, but as she has to start school in Sept Full-time at Myland Primary, thought it best to step up her attendance to prepare her,but they don't have 5 sessions to give me,as they have some that only attend 2 or 3 times a week,so I phoned the Childcare services in Broomfield, who sent me a list of all the nurseries and playgroups in Colchester. I rang a few, settled on Childsplay day Nursery next to Adventureland. They run Government funded sessions from 10.00 -12.30, it seems really nice, very in tune with preparing them for school.Alot of people put their children names down for playgroup when they are born,so alot are full up now.

Thanks Mung. Would like to come on Thursday, but reading some of your posts, there are a few who don't want to risk Chicken Pox at this time, and as Thursday will be 1 week since the first spots, there may be a few that havent crusted up,as she's got so many its difficult to tell! So I'll look forward to being "freed" next week!

Mung · 28/04/2008 21:34

I am one of those people Nursejo.
Perhaps I'll be brave and host something next Thursday. I'll check with the others this week and see what they think.
I hope you have some freedom soon.

Thanks Mung.I understand how people feel about Chicken pox,as discussed it all with my Postnatal group friends, and some are ok with it,others are worried, others have important things coming up.Hope to see you soon.

It looks like I may not be able to avoid it as there was a sign up at Ds's pre school this morning saying that there was a case of chicken pox reported. I am going on holiday in 2 weeks...I hope we avoid it!

Nursejo - if you see this, I'm not going to Coggeshall tomorrow as DD1 has now got chickenpox! Thought maybe we coule meet up at the swings on Mill Road? Morning or afternoon is fine with us, if it's rainy you're welcome to come over.

You can email me on SP4369 at googlemail dot com if you need my address. If the weathers anything like today I think indoors will be the plan!

Nursejo · 30/04/2008 20:41

Oh thanks SparklyPrincess, that would be great.Morning or afternoon is fine with me,DD1 is at Nursery from 10.00-1.00pm tomorrow,so we could come/meet you after,or if its easier I could come with DD2 whilst DD1 is at nursery. So pleased to do something other than ferry my DD1 to nursery and back again, will be nice to meet up.Will E Mail you now.
