Hi Ladies,

After the fun Thursday night without children, how about a Thursday with children?

We could take a walk in Highwoods Country park if the weather is good or go to Adventureland if the weather is bad.

Hopefully we will have some new faces join us too...

How about 17th or 24th?

H

Have emailed you SP!

SparklyPrincess · 21/04/2008 14:54

Hasn't come through yet, Sophie ...

sophierosie · 21/04/2008 17:13

Second time lucky!

Nursejo · 21/04/2008 17:52

Hi, Twinkie1 thanks for reply, not sure how to "CAT" you, excuse my ignorance!!
Hi Mung, yes Friday would be good for me.
Hi Lucyfer2000, I go to Lawford for Jingles,as was told that everyone from this area goes there. Not too far away but feels like miles,as not familiar with the rural outskirts of Colchester yet!

lucyfer2000 · 21/04/2008 20:58

Hi everyone!

Yes i'm also not sure about this cat business - perhaps someone could educate me!

Sophie i have emailed you for the yoga number - thanks.

I can't imagine what to expect from the natural history museum group on Thursday - but it sounds well worth trying! Perhaps we could give it a go in a couple of weeks (as you say, when your baby girl is better). I hope she is not feeling too sorry for herself and is managing not to SCRATCH!! The kids have a dentist appointment one thursday soon... but can't remember when - better check it out!

Jo - I wonder why they told you Lawford was closest??? I don't know the area very well but i know there are lots of JJ groups closer than that. Not even sure where Lawford is!!
xx

Mung · 21/04/2008 21:36

CAT is the MN e-mail, I think. If you have registered you can contact other people who are registered too.

Basically (I think I remember rightly), Twinkie cannot give her e-mail address out online as it is her work one. If you want, you can email me : hjscho at hotmail dot com and I can give you directions (is that OK Twinkie?).

lucyfer - have emailed you!

DD and I popped into the natural history museum this afternoon and I had to drag her out of it - she was chatting to beetles on the telephone - you'll see!

Twinkie1 · 22/04/2008 11:24

Is fine Mung but easier to say that I live oposite the Indian Restaurant in Kelvedon - St Andrews!

Climbing Frame all up and ready - not as big as I thought it would be but have kept DSs little one also for the mini kids!

Ds is really looking forward to having some friends round - a poorly mummy is boring!

May even try a Pear Tatin as DH is away in Ireland and will have some time on my hands in the morning!

We have Mung (the veggie) coming - anything else I need to be aware of before I dish up offal pie!

Mung · 22/04/2008 14:45

Twinkie, I will have to leave at 12...so pear tatin will do me fine!

Saz126 · 22/04/2008 21:14

Can I come? I want to play on the climbing frame!! x

lucyfer2000 · 22/04/2008 21:58

Hi Twinkie,

possibly being inspired by my second huuuge glass of red wine tonight... but would really like to meet everybody on Thursday - just in case we don't do another thursday meet up for a while.

Are you sure its ok? will only do it if the weather is nice obviously.

I think that i know where the indian restaurant is in Kelvedon. Will check it out tomorrow during my lunch break, i have to pick up a prescription from the chemist there tomorrow anyway. So don't be too freaked out if you see starey woman looking over at your house!

SparklyPrincess · 23/04/2008 14:11

Twinkie - will come over tomorrow if I get back from the hospital in time... and can find your house!

I'll text to let you know via Mung!

I'm going to go to Fingringhoe Wick Nature Reserve on Friday for their Little Bugs Club and I'm going to take a picnic lunch for the girls for afterwards. Does anyone fancy joining me? The group runs from 10 to 11.30.

Hopefully see some of you tomorrow or Friday. DD2 is much better now - definitely all scabbed over and looking a lot healthier.

SP xx

Twinkie1 · 23/04/2008 14:34

Hi Guys - everyone welcome - come even if weather is crap - have enough space for little ones to create havoc!

Lucifer - don't worry - being on the high st I often have strange people poking their faces in at my window!

Saz - you have to come as I have some clothes for DS and want rid of them before DH realises how many new clothes I have bought him!

Saz126 · 23/04/2008 20:19

Excellent Twinkie, more clothes! DS just growing out of the last batch and has had so much wear out of them. See you tomorrow..will head off before 12pm if OK as DS is such a grump if he doesn't have his lunch sleep. x

Mung · 24/04/2008 14:11

Thanks for the coffee fix Twinkie

Ladies...have a look at this and this. What do you reckon? My hairdresser is coming tomorrow, should I go shorter still?

OP posts:
Saz126 · 24/04/2008 15:13

Twinkie, I forgot the cakes! Thanks for all the cakes I did eat though, yum yum...

Mung, I like both, def go shorter.

Good to meet you Lucyfer, hope to see you again soon!

SparklyPrincess · 24/04/2008 15:29

Thanks for having us Twinkie!

Mung - they're only really shorter at the back, so I reckon they'd look good. Should be easy to sort out in the morning with the generous application of a load of goo anyway.

And perhaps a pillar box red dye??

Mung · 24/04/2008 15:34

pillar box red

Twinkie1 · 28/04/2008 08:04

WInona all the way for me!

SparklyPrincess · 28/04/2008 14:26

So what did you get done to your hair Mung??

Mung · 28/04/2008 15:03

I didn't show the hairdresser the pics, just said I wanted to go a bit shorter. She said she'd chop into it more to give the impression of being shorter . It looks a bit shorter than normal, but I think my hairdresser always fobs me off at first to kind of check that I mean it and then if I say it again she is more inclined to go ahead...a bit like when DS asks to do a wee in a shop and I wait for him to say it a couple of times before I believe him

Would love to join you one Thursday if no-one minds an "old" mum joining your group! I have 1 DS who is 12! and 2 DD's, one is 3.5yrs and the other is 19 mths (last two from 2nd marriage)At the moment the youngest is getting over Chicken Pox,so I'm still housebound for a few more days,so maybe next week......? I have reorganised the Jo Jingles to Friday (at Stanway this time) as the 3.5yr old is now attending a new nursery session on Thursday morning.

Mung · 28/04/2008 20:42

we are meeting in Coggeshall on Thursday, but we will have to organise something for next week. Hope to meet you soon.

Nursejo - do you mind me asking where your dd is going to nursery - I'm currently looking locally and have been v lax at actually going to see anywhere or registering. My dd will be starting in sept if not before!
