Carry on Caravanning - Summer Holidays - Camber Sands

Due to popular demand, I am starting a thread to ascertain numbers for a week away at Camber Sands in the School Holidays...16th seems to be a popular date. Sign up if you're interested and I'll get quotes off the various owners I know (one of them has a van which has ensuite bedrooms either end of the lounge so great if you want to share with another couple/family).

Obviously, I have a van so won't be signing!!!

well just come back from another lovely weekend and yet more activities discovered for under 5s. Each day at 9.30am and 1.30pm they have play sessions for them - ds loved playing the musical instruments.

Also, new toilets in the refurb bar so it is looking very nice now.

Spent yesterday on the beach, whilst I believe it rained here.

ahhh, here we are!
just a quickie to get this back on my threads
will catch up tomorrow as shirking working day..
sympathies to sushi and kew - so, so hard when they're ill when you're working, isn't it?

dd was sick first weeks of easter hols and was a nightmare trying to work. ended up doing it at nights.

but, much better for them to get cp when they're young and fighting the infection does build up their immune system as it's the one childhood illness they're 'allowed" to get these days

and ouch! about cov's and kew's respective sore digits

take care, all
toodlepip

what's the plan wrt to it being the bank holiday weekend? is it purely sat - sat booking or are we able to stay till the monday.

jeepers but i need a break!

MrsRecycle · 15/05/2008 13:29

Its purely Sat to Sat, unfortunately. The Aug BH weekend is the busiest one down there and its always full. Actually sometimes, too full...

KC - my Mum is coming this week as well - same age as yours (and young looking as well!).

We will have to take a trip out to a lovely pub in Peasmarsh, (weather permitting) has a lovely play area (for all ages) and is next door to Macca's house. Also Mr Depp has just brought a house close by as well.

fitfox · 30/05/2008 21:12

Ooh yes please - can I climb the wall and have a nose into his garden?

ComeOVeneer · 30/05/2008 21:46

Think I may have missed something here?!?!?!?!

MrsRecycle · 02/06/2008 10:17

Aren't you away in France w/c 16th Aug COV? If not, and you want to join us, I can try and find out a caravan for hire for the week. Email me and I'll let you know price.

ComeOVeneer · 02/06/2008 15:52

Erm yes That will teach me to skim a thread. OH well next time!
