Due to popular demand, I am starting a thread to ascertain numbers for a week away at Camber Sands in the School Holidays...16th seems to be a popular date. Sign up if you're interested and I'll get quotes off the various owners I know (one of them has a van which has ensuite bedrooms either end of the lounge so great if you want to share with another couple/family).

Obviously, I have a van so won't be signing!!!

Have a safe journey down everyone.

Oh you must let us get him some BRio (or simialr) track and trains, if he's into cars/thomas etc train sets are fab DS loves his and got into it at about 2yrs.

MrsRecycle · 23/07/2008 12:42

just had to go and google "brio" can you tell I'm all pinked out here . He doesn't have the train set but he has a BTB Scoop that I got him from a second hand shop in Rye (excellent condition) that he plays with all the time. I was going to get him a few more bits for his birthday so maybe a track would be good.

oh that's really sweet of you TD - he loves cars, Thomas, football, in fact anything boyish (says she watching him playing dolls in the garden with DDs with a glitter belt and handbag as accessories). Actually one thing I was going to get him from Costco at Christmas, but they sold out, was the very large lego bricks in a pull along truck (can't remember what they're called!).

Any ideas of what he would like for birthday pressies?

We could club together if you like or get seperate things. What are his favourite activities ATM?

Ok lets discuss on Friday and we can decide if I need one - can't imagine I'll be using the clubhouse after 8pm. Or is there "stuff" happening there that I should be attending....

Report
MrsRecycle · 22/07/2008 13:16

I think I can sort one out for you as well...just need to tell a few white lies. Might have to pay £5 but that's it. tbh most of the time you don't need a pass. Its just in the evening if you go out after 8pm to the clubhouse.
