How are you doing? Any news? Sorry if you are sick of being asked!

OP posts:
chonky · 06/03/2007 22:42

Good luck MrsJC, I can just imagine your beanbag strop

MrsJohnCusack · 06/03/2007 22:49

hello chonky! I loved your page BTW - lovely, lovely photos on the link on there. Couldn't sponsor you at that point as it wasn't working - will go back and do it. And my mother would like to say hello (I mentioned I'd 'spoken' to you)

chonky · 06/03/2007 22:56

Hello there. Gawd, I haven't fessed to my parents that I am a MNetter, they would think I'd gone weird, 'talking' to people on t'interweb. Say 'hello' to your Mum, is she over there with you at the moment? Fundraising is going well, although the JustGiving site can be crap. My parents who are always keen to have a party (the lushes) raised £800 for my step-sis and I on Sunday!
Glad you liked the pics I had a look at your page, your dd is gorgeous.
Anyway, I need to go to bed, but will be thinking of you tomorrow.

twentypence · 06/03/2007 23:53

ghosty · 07/03/2007 00:06

You got half an hour MJC ... I am off to the airport at 1.30pm ....

Clock's ticking .... tick tock tick tock ...

No pressure or anything

hunkermunker · 07/03/2007 00:09

Excellent choice for a career Jura

Right, that's it, am logging off until Sunday night. If I have time to make it to an internet cafe in between drinking champagne outside the opera house and swimming in the lunar park pool I will ... but don't hold your breath ...

Actually, no, DON'T hold your breath MrsJC ... remember to breeeeaaaattttthhhhhhe

Best of luck hon ... it'll be fine, you won't feel a thing - honest

twentypence · 07/03/2007 01:04

jura - ds wants to be a double bassist. He has had to start on a cello (as he is only 4). I have started saving.

I think being a bassoonist is an excellent career choice
she will always be in demand and the bassoon is cool

am still vaguely hopeful that things may kick of tonight, but if not tomorrow is The Day (it's Wednesday evening here)

welliemum · 07/03/2007 04:25

Ooh yes, and you get to star in the sorcerer's apprentice every once in a while....

::: labour vibes::::

alipiggie · 07/03/2007 04:29

Fingers crossed it all kicks off before you have to go in MrsJC. Looking forward to seeing the official announcement.

twentypence · 07/03/2007 04:38

I know you have an email list MrsJC, but have you trained dh to make an announcement?

MrsJohnCusack · 07/03/2007 04:57

DH not capable of making an announcement...can't be arsed to explain it to him
there are about 3 mnetters on the email list, was hoping one of them might say - so feel free to post it if you think anyone will be interested

am feeling quite embarassed at whipping up such a frenzy of anticipation - really didn't think I'd have to witter on and moan for this long - most irritating for everybody

twentypence · 07/03/2007 05:28

I'm not irritated - it's quite exciting actually knowing one of the almost in labour people and getting to meet the baby afterwards.

I will put it on as a birth announcement if nobody beats me to it.

twentypence · 07/03/2007 05:30

BTW those are lovely photos on your profile page.

SSShakeTheChi · 07/03/2007 07:51

Mrs J?

JackieNo · 07/03/2007 08:24

Fingers crossed it's all starting to happen (or she might just be asleep).

MrsJohnCusack · 07/03/2007 09:38

no I'm here
still - more 'show' (HATE that expression) throughout the day and now some period painy things - not very strong and I'm not sure they're going to come to anything. But maybe it means tomorrow will go quickly.

feeling really quite sick about it all. was kept in at an appointment to be induced last time so didn't have much time to fret, now I have too much time and I'm very nervous indeed. Thanks for all the good wishes!

JackieNo · 07/03/2007 09:43

Oh well - as you say, maybe it will mean things will go quickly tomorrow. Keep us posted.

schneebly · 07/03/2007 09:56

All the best MrsJC - thinking of you. xxx
