Happy birthday Pamela, I hope the surgery has gone well and you are able to feel more comfortable.

I have everything crossed that the drains do their job and you can have the next surgery on Monday.

Happy birthday Pamela… the sun has shone brightly for your day and we have all been thinking of you and hoping your drain is not too painful. Here is a picture of my cat in her thunder shirt (to stop her getting scared during thunderstorms and fireworks. She looks like a roll poly pudding!

Hi, it’s Kerr here, Pamela asked me to let you all know about her surgery today so this is a very quick update. Surgery was due to be early afternoon but it went ahead around 6.30pm this evening - the wonderful staff in the hospital were trying their best to reassure us the procedure wouldn’t be cancelled despite it being so late on a Friday afternoon. We’re praying it’s goes well.

Can I also take the opportunity to say how much Pamela (and I) sincerely appreciate every single one of your prayers, your good wishes, your thoughts and your messages - the sense of community spirit, warmth and true human kindness has been overpowering and is an enormous support to Pamela through this incredibly difficult period. If I could thank you individually I would because Pamela is the most wonderful woman, the love of my life. Please keep praying for her.

Thank you so much for the update. That must have been nerve wracking having that wait. She's been on our collective minds all day. I really hope she feels a big difference after the surgery. I did.

Glad it all went ahead, like most people and check the thread regularly for updates and keep Pamela in my thoughts. Thank you for updating us, hoping Pamela feels better with the drains and gets a good night's sleep. I'm also from N.I and her story has really touched me and I am rooting for her to get the best possible outcome

Also from NI and have been following Pamela's journey. So shocking that the NHS here has let her down so badly. Really hoping everything goes OK today. 😍
