@TheBreezyKoala oh wow that is some willpower! Two weeks! What symptoms are you getting? I’m still waiting for AF so I can get started but should be tomorrow I think. My transfer will be mid month ish.

@jenk91 hi & good luck for this cycle!

@Sunnydaysahead1 good luck for next week. That’s a relief for you that everything is as it should be. I really hope this is it for you 🤞🏼 that’s a lot of heartache to go through.

Sunnydaysahead1 · 29/05/2026 11:25

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite oh that’s so nice we’ve got our transfers on the same day! ☺️ is this your first one? And omg I completely agree about running out of space for the Lubion injections, I’ve now done 3 and already feel like everywhere is now bruised and sore! I’m sorry to hear the estrogen only was messing with you, hopefully you’ve got some relief now ❤️

@TheBreezyKoala oooh thanks for the tips! Injections into the muscle sounds painful?! But yes you’re right, it will be all worth it if we get to do this for another 11 weeks ❤️

@mumtrovert thank you so much! I hope your AF arrives promptly so you can get started ☺️

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 29/05/2026 16:44

@TheBreezyKoala thank you and wow the intramuscular injections sound hardcore, warrior woman over there! Where do you have to inject? I’m going to ask the clinic if it can only be the tummy re running out of real estate. Hopefully we will be complaining about the injections for a few months as you say 🤞💫 ✨

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 29/05/2026 16:50

Oh and @Sunnydaysahead1sorry yes this will be my first transfer. I had endometriosis surgery in October, did an egg collection and froze embryos my first cycle after the surgery in November (in case I got a drop off in ovarian function from the surgery). Then needed to wait until February to do the transfer (3 months post surgery). I wanted to wait for the transfer due to a clotting issue rather than try naturally as I was told that would “optimise outcomes” in my case. I did actually start the oestrogen for the transfer in February but then found out I was pregnant and miscarried. Was horrible at the time but hopefully a sign my surgery has helped as there were no positives before. And they’ve upped my progesterone for this transfer. Also taking aspirin and clexane from the day after the transfer for the clotting issue. Inching forwards…!

mumtrovert · 29/05/2026 19:00

Thank you @Sunnydaysahead1

@Blueskycat has AF started for you yet?

CMGC · 29/05/2026 19:54

Period arrived today so on oestrogen(fematab) for the next 11 days then first scan on June 9th and hopefully will have my transfer 5 to 10 days after that

Moosey898 · 29/05/2026 21:58

I think everyone else here is FET rather than stims so best of luck to you all! Hope it is a good month for everyone x

Blueskycat · 30/05/2026 07:11

@mumtrovert Yes my period started on Thurs and I have a scan booked for next Friday to monitor ovulation- I have longer cycles so I don’t think they’ll see much on Day 9 but there you go! Expecting to ovulate around Day 18. Hope yours arrives today as expected 🙏🏽 How are you feeling about starting meds?

@Sunnydaysahead1 @SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite I think I’ll be doing lubion for the first time this cycle (but haven’t got my prescription yet) so helpful to know what to expect

Sunnydaysahead1 · 30/05/2026 18:34

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, it’s so awful to go through, absolute hell. Similarly to you I had endo surgery (over a year ago now) and will also be on clexane and aspirin after the transfer! I also had intralipids yesterday for the first time. Hopefully it’s first time lucky for you!

@Blueskycat I’ve found massaging the injection site afterwards is helping a bit… hopefully it’ll feel ok for you!

How is everyone feeling? 💕

CMGC · 30/05/2026 19:09

mumtrovert · 31/05/2026 12:28

@CMGC we will be similar dates!

@Moosey898 good luck I hope you get plenty of embryos 🤞🏼

@Blueskycat ah brilliant. My cycles are longer too. Hopefully all goes as it should and the injections aren’t too bad! I’m happy to be getting started.. first patches tonight. I know this wait feels like forever though until transfer. I’m going for a lining scan on the 10th and providing all OK will transfer on the 16th!

@Blueskycat@mumtrovertyes I think we very similar dates! Fingers crossed that this is the one for us!!

TheNavyFatball · 31/05/2026 17:48

Hi everyone, hope it’s okay if I jump on here.

I didn’t want to post before due to not wanting to jinx anything for myself.

All being well I should be having a fresh transfer tomorrow. This is my first IVF cycle: at day 3 we had 6 good quality and 2 poor quality embryos, and we’re hoping to get to fresh transfer tomorrow but I should get a call around 8am to confirm.

I’ve found the waiting harder than the rest of the process, so the TWW will be hard.

My husband is also going to be on a stag do when I’m due to test- he has offered to cancel but in all honesty I’d rather he went, but that adds another complication too.

Good Luck everyone, I hope June is a kind month for us all.

TheBreezyKoala · 31/05/2026 19:18

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite oh thank you were all involuntary warriors on these journeys for sure! It has to be injected into lower back/upper bum area daily, a week in and feel like we're running out of space already 😆 deffo having my son is a huge distraction this time, last time the meds and Injections consumed me! Aiming to test this day next week🤞 keeping everything crossed but literally nothing going on! Last time had loads of symptoms this time none, hard not to over think it!

mumtrovert · 01/06/2026 08:46

Hi @TheNavyFatball welcome and I hope you get good news about your embryos this morning and the transfer goes well. Keep us updated! 8 at day 3 is a great number 😃

@TheBreezyKoala this wait and symptom spotting is torture isn’t it. Glad your little boy is taking away some of that anxiety. It’s hard not to compare to a successful cycle isn’t it, but lots of people on here have said they had zero symptoms and still had a BFP so you’re still in it. What day will you test?

CD2 here. Beetroot and pomegranate juice this morning and breakfast was a protein smoothie and a boiled egg. Aiming to try and keep this up every morning. And I’ve organised my acupuncture appointments.. one tomorrow (as she’s away after this until my lining scan 🙃) and then one before and after my transfer. Throwing the kitchen sink at it this time!

TheBreezyKoala · 27/05/2026 21:59

Hi @PlanBFertility26 , hope it's ok to join and I'm not too late! Currently in the tww post FET transfer yesterday. Forgot how long the days are post transfer! Thankfully our first transfer resulted in our baby boy so we're feeling so lucky to have him, however the fact he was so straightforward and everything seemed to go so perfectly that time, I'm feeling the pressure for this transfer to succeed also! First transfer was 5AB embryo, this transfer was 4AB embryo. Unsure what significance this will be but really really hoping we get to meet this little one! Best of luck to everyone hope you're all holding up!

Good luck @TheBreezyKoala our first IVF also resulted in our beautiful son, so I understand what you mean about the pressure a second time.

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 01/06/2026 12:14

I hope everything went well for you this morning, sending you all the best vibes for this cycle ✨ @TheNavyFatball. Hoping to follow you tomorrow morning, my transfer is booked for 11.30 😅 my first transfer also (frozen because needed to wait after endometriosis surgery). @Sunnydaysahead1is also part of this week’s transfer crew 🙌

@mumtrovertI am also hitting the beetroot hard. I can’t drink the juice so I’m just eating it cooked, trying to get two servings down me a day. I was meh about beetroot before, going off it increasingly 😂.

@TheBreezyKoalaeveryone seems to say the symptoms (or lack of symptoms) don’t correlate to results and can be misleading, and can vary so much transfer to transfer or pregnancy to pregnancy. Hang in there! Fully anticipating overthinking everything myself here 😅

mumtrovert · 01/06/2026 14:36

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite oooh good luck tomorrow. I hope everything goes OK. Aaahh see I’d rather drink the juice than eat it 😂 I don’t mind pickled beetroot but don’t fancy eating half a jar of that a day 🙈

Won’t be long before we start seeing some BFPs in this group, I’m sure 🫶🏼

roamingcat · 01/06/2026 16:28

@mumtrovert as it’s my first time would you mind sharing if there are any specific recommendations around food/drink during IVF cycles or is it just general lots of fruit and veg/healthy diet? I’m keen to do what I can 😁

mumtrovert · 01/06/2026 17:37

@roamingcat I don’t think there is really except for trying to eat healthily and having enough protein. There are however things that have been researched that show no negative effects but some slight positive influence on things like lining thickness and implantation.. these are beetroot, pomegranate, Brazil nuts (1 per day). In my successful fresh transfer I didn’t do any of these.. but I did eat really healthy and have a protein smoothie every morning with frozen berries and spinach. I’ve had 1x chemical, 1x MMC and 1x BFN in my pursuit for #2. So now I’m doing absolutely all of it just to cross off every box I can.
As long as you avoid a lot of sugar/processed food, eat those things in moderation if you wanted to have them, make sure you have enough protein, cut caffeine down/out etc you’ll be fine. I’m not sure how much it really benefits at the end of the day.

Sunnydaysahead1 · 01/06/2026 19:46

Oh girls I’ve been having such a spiral today!! I was already feeling like the cycle was over before even starting as I have such little hope, and then I realised this morning I’d completely forgotten to start my prednisolone tablets on Saturday 😭 so I’ve started two days late and FET is tomorrow. I didn’t get as much reassurance from my clinic as I was hoping - they just told me to make sure I take it each morning. I just don’t feel like I’ve got my head screwed on at the mo! And have been so emotional today, I had to stop myself crying several times at work.

I think I’m just feeling very little hope at this point. But I’m going to try and have a relaxing evening, and focus on getting into a better headspace if I can. @SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite how are you feeling about your transfer tomorrow? I’m wishing you all the luck with it and will be thinking of you! ✨

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 01/06/2026 20:11

@Sunnydaysahead1 oh gosh I’m so sorry you’ve had such a day of it and I can completely understand why this made you spiral. Easier said than done I know (!), but I think you can take a lot of reassurance from the fact the clinic is happy to proceed tomorrow. If they had any concerns about it, they would have cancelled and they didn’t. I’ve taken it before for asthma and it seemed to act really quickly, I get noticeable relief within a day (take it morning and noticeable improvement by evening). Huge improvement within 36 hours. Obviously a different context but again I think it’s a good sign the clinic isn’t worried 🤗

I’m still a progesterone-y soupy lethargic blob today when I would have expected to be on the edge based on how I’ve been before in this process. But I don’t think it would take much to push me into a panic so trying to get myself slightly organised tonight (not something I do well!).

I’m going into the clinic early for pain relief and a diazepam. I’ve had some really painful smear tests over the years I think from undiagnosed endometriosis and so I asked the clinic if they could do anything. It may be total overkill but as it’s my first transfer I didn’t want to take any chances!

I will be thinking of you too tomorrow, we got this 🙌💫💕✨

HappyMamma2023 · 02/06/2026 11:05

Good luck to everyone having transfers this week.
I've had a wobble and delayed my FET to July due to a combination of things mainly our little boy being unwell.
Re. Nutrition I've been foloowing Zita West's IVF Diet. I don't follow it 100% but use it as a guide and we were successful first time. Good luck!

Sunnydaysahead1 · 02/06/2026 11:11

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite thank you soo much for your experiences with Prednisolone and how quickly it’s helped your asthma, that has honestly reassured me so much! Thank you ☺️
And that’s a really good idea to go in for pain relief, I think being as comfortable as possible is a good idea. Although the full bladder is always tricky part! 😅
Let us know how it goes today! We’re on our way to our clinic now 🩷

@HappyMamma2023 sorry to hear you’ve had a wobble and your little boy is unwell, makes complete sense to delay until you’re in a better space for it. I hope your little boy feels better soon ❤️

jenk91 · 02/06/2026 11:43

I’ve just had my baseline scan today so I think I’ll be end of June for my transfer, still a while for me yet.

good luck to everyone about to transfer/had just transferred, here’s hoping you guys can start this off as a lucky thread 💫
