February FET 2026

Thought I’d set up a chat for anyone due to have a FET in February 2026 😊

We’re doing ICSI due to severe MFI. We are doing our third transfer next month after a failed fresh and chemical from a FET. This is also our last embryo before having to start allllll over again 🫠 my period arrived later this afternoon so tomorrow is my CD1 then full steam ahead. This time I’m doing a modified natural (adding in a trigger), adding in clexane and the same as last time having Lubion and Cyclogest.

Is anyone else on a similar timeline? We could trauma bond over the turmoil we’re about to put ourselves through 😂

@RavenWillow try not to worry. I regret mentioning mine in a way as I've realised it might scare people who've never had one before. I think it was just an anomaly as I've never heard other people have such a big deal with their bladder! Just needed to get it off my chest so that's why I mentioned it. My problem was that the first transfer they were running really late so told me to empty and refill. Second transfer I assumed they might be late again so underfilled, so then this time I filled like mad and of course they were late again!

Aside from the bladder thing today, my first two weren't painful. I even have 4 fibroids that make it all a bit achy and it wasn't too bad.

It's also cool if they do what they do at mine and show you a pic of the embryo and of the screen as it's going in and you can see a light area and watch it going in.

@frenchgal I've been trying to read a lot for distraction but sometimes it's hard to concentrate!!xx

I was so worried about the full bladder especially as we have a decent drive to the clinic! What I did was had a large Starbucks on the drive, had a wee when I arrived at the clinic (an hour early) and then drank water as I waited to be called in. This felt okay and they said my bladder was full!

Hey!
CD1 so starting a modified FET tomorrow.

My story so far…
Cycle 1 - failed, no fertilisation
Cycle 2 - failed, no fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 4 fertilised, 3 made it (4AB, 4BB and 4A)

  • Did a fresh cycle with 4AB, first ever BFP but missed miscarriage at 10 weeks (baby stopped growing at 7)
  • Frozen cycle cancelled
  • Frozen cycle BFN
And here we are…

I hope this round goes better for you! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

21RsMama · 02/02/2026 09:44

For everyone who's had their transfer how many dpt are you and any symptoms/feelings?

I'm 2dp5dt and my stomach is crampy and I have nausea. It could just be crampy from the procedure though. I'm surprised I feel nauseous though as I've been on progesterone for 4 days prior to transfer and weirdly has no side affects.... Suppose maybe once it builds up they are more apparent? 🤷🏼‍♀️

RavenWillow · 02/02/2026 10:09

So its more the bladder issue than the actual procedure? Im not too worried about my bladder as I've struggled with retention many times so have quite a tolerance. Im more concerned about the procedure however I feel half of that stems from the lady that scanned me at the clinic last. Whenever she does (only had her twice thank god) has made me feel uncomfortable and that I have a strange anatomy and difficult. All the others I never have a problem with.
@21RsMama I am not there yet but started taking progesterone and have had no side effects so was wondering when they start?

I've had an embryo transfer twice, November 25 and the other day, neither times have I found it to be uncomfortable. Usually at a smear I do feel a bit uncomfy but I barely felt the procedure for the transfer. It really was the easiest part. The bladder hold is a pain but I am someone who feels like I need to pee just when anxious 😅

I actually have no idea, I've taken progesterone a lot and I actually can't remember when I've had symptoms or no symptoms etc.

I think I posted on the Jan board but as FET was yesterday, 1st Feb I’ll tag along here.

I have had successful IVF. This time around I’m doing a totally unmedicated / no pressaries FET cycle. All that happens is I track my ovulation and then FET 5 days later.

Day 5 A- transferred yesterday.

We went through procedure. Got a picture of flash. Checked the catheter and the embryo was still in there. Second time around the embryo transferred. Never happened before, was thinking it’s quite the reluctant one.

Test day is 10th February but I have form for testing early. 🧐😬

I’ve had the embryo procedure 5 times now. A wee bit of indignity having your legs in stirrups and your vulva swabbed to clean.

Feels like a smear.

If your bladder was full to bursting trying not to pee and go through a lot of other unpleasant sensations wouldn’t be nice but in general it’s really straightforward for most people.

Not minimising pp experience! It’s different for everyone.

Wishing the very best for you.

Procedure-wise, just a bit of indignity like someone else said lol, legs in stirrups and a wipe clean 🤣 when they but the catheter in I’ve found it a little crampy both times but very tolerable. Literally just like weak cramps. And it’s all over very quick 😄

Good luck! Someone else who recently had a transfer the embryo got stuck in the catheter and they’ve had their BFP :) so fingers crossed for you. Seems like it’s just extra sticky which is probably a good thing! My transfer was 30/01 but my otd is 10/02 as well :)

Good luck to you too! They’re very conservative when it comes to test dates.

Some women start getting positives 5 days post a 5 day transfer. But on whole best to wait if you can for certainty!

Klmno · 02/02/2026 14:16

Yes definitely was an anomaly with my bladder so don't worry! I just needed to vent. It just didn't help they were running late but we weren't getting any updates on how late (the waiting room is separate both to reception and to the area where they do the transfers so nobody around to ask!). So I just got a bit panicked really! My first two transfers were nowhere as bad as that.

I've heard of a few positives after it gets stuck in the catheter!! So try not to worry

@FET2026 that sounds like a long and tough journey so far, crossing my fingers for you!

@21RsMama do you mean uterine type cramps or bowel cramps? Tmi but my bowel has been a bit irritable really. (First I chatted about my bladder, now I'm oversharing about my bowels, what am I like 😂) but I've not had any period like cramps since my transfer same day as you. I wish I had cuz I've heard cramps are a good sign! I think it would be too early to feel sick from a pregnancy tbh? As only 7dpo equivalent.

Do you think 7 days post 5 day transfer, with a 'ultra early' clearblue digital would be accurate? If so I think I will test Saturday as my partner goes away for two nights on Sunday.

21RsMama · 02/02/2026 14:40

So I have like a warm sensation and twinges and cramping but it could be just the procedure in general!

With testing I always think wait as long as you can, I think if you test 'early' it opens an addiction to constant testing.. if it's negative you then test everyday hoping a line appears, and it you do get a line you continue testing fixating on if the line is progressing 😬 I was chatting to another girl on here after my last transfer and we both had lines from day 6 and they very slowly progressed however, I spend 6-8 days testing continuously and worrying constantly about the progression until it became obvious it was a chemical. The other mum had the same day 6-10/12 and then finally got a 'decent' line on around day 13 I think.... And she is currently around 14wk. I feel like we both had different outcomes but we both exhausted ourselves for a week that maybe wasn't needed? If wed both tested on our day 13 (for our clinics) mine would have been so faint so expectations would have been low and hers would have been so bright she could have been happy. It's so hard though. I'm saying all that and I'll prob start 7/8 dpt 🤣

GamerGirl09 · 02/02/2026 18:33

@FET2026@Klmno I got a clear but faint + at 5dp5dt last time ♥️

RavenWillow · 02/02/2026 19:29

Thank you all for sharing your experiences, I appreciate it :)

BluePurpleRedGreen · 02/02/2026 21:39

I found the transfer like a smear. I knew I wouldn’t love it but it was something to get through and then it was over.

@21RsMama i had a similar experience with a chemical… I was positive day 4 to 8 (5 day blast) but without progression eventually. I knew it was obviously not a good sign but had to keep waiting each day to know for sure and it’s really tough. But can I say I won’t test early again? 😬 is it worth knowing whether it implanted? Is that what I’ll be telling myself? I’m not sure I will be able to resist, when I do eventually have my next transfer, but i’ll be aiming to test a bit later.

PlanBFertility26 · 02/02/2026 21:45

I got my BFP at 5dp5dt with my embryo that I miscarried. Very faint on 4dp5dt

ItsAJourney · 03/02/2026 19:22

Hi all, I had my second scan today and now have my transfer date which is next Tuesday! I start on my progesterone tomorrow! Anyone else’s transfer next week?

MocktailMe · 03/02/2026 19:49

Good luck to all who have had transfers.

I'm still right back at the start waiting for my period that I was expecting today!!!!

Still should be getting a February FET provided it arrives within the next couple of days?!?

I'm so torn on the early testing. I'm completely fatigued from testing, I'm actually sick to death of staring at lines and the heartbreak and anxiety. But I also don't think I can let myself get excited for a positive for two whole weeks.

It's also nearing a year since I last found out I was pregnant (a loss) and I'm finding it hard. It was a really traumatic loss ending in emergency ectopic surgery and I have a lot of trauma and flashbacks from that time.

PlanBFertility26 · 03/02/2026 20:42

@MocktailMe big hugs. This whole journey is hell

21RsMama · 03/02/2026 21:23

How is everyone dealing with the TWW who is there just now? I'm a bit meh today.... Feel like after 8 losses why would it happen? But I'm trying to kick myself not to go down that rabbit hole!

Does anyone have any TV shows to recommend that might distract me? 🤪
