Had a scan - theres a heart beat

waitingforourmiracle · 21/07/2025 13:12

@GamerGirl09 Oh I get that feeling! I cried a couple of weeks ago for literally 30 seconds then when I stopped my boyfriend asked if I was okay and with the worst attitude I was like "ye" as if I hadn't just had an emotional cry and he was stupid for asking me 😂when is beta bloods for you? My clinic don't do them and that is making me very nervous!!

I feel a little heavy today, I don't know how else to explain it to be honest, just like full haha but I have been drinking lots of water so it's more likely my bladder is getting heavy 🙈 honestly feel like I'm going crazy!! X

@GamerGirl09 you are so right!! The clinic said it's up to my body now, drinking a cold drink it's going to make the embryo fall out 🙈it's so easy to become obsessed, isn't the whole TTC journey!! I haven't felt much to be honest the last couple of days, slight stabbing pain on Saturday but really if I hadn't mentioned it to my partner I probably would of forgot it even happened it was that quick! I think I'm preparing for a negative test I don't know why, so I suppose I won't be surprised if it hasn't worked! Trying to be positive but it's very difficult after when happened last time. How are you feeling today?

Keep the hope / positivity

Ivf clinic scan = next week

( this was an early nhs 1 due to haematoma and some blood clotting issues i have )

FancyGoose · 21/07/2025 15:08

@worldwidetravel2017 that is brilliant news! So nice you don't have long to go until the next scan too.

@GamerGirl09 congrats on your BFP too!!

@waitingforourmiracle congrats on being PUPO! Everything crossed for you. Do you know when you will test yet?

Had my beta today and it's just come back at 432 which dr Google tells me is normal/good. Going back in Friday for another one and just praying it continues to rise 🙏 I am so, so grateful to be pregnant right now but it does feel like you just swap one limbo (tww) for another - waiting for betas and then scans. But really trying to hold onto hope and think positively.

waitingforourmiracle · 21/07/2025 15:23

@FancyGoose thank you, I think Friday so 7dp5dt, I don't know why but I'm expecting a negative 😫
That is amazing news! Congrats, keep us updated Friday hope those numbers keep rising!! X

@worldwidetravel2017 ahhhh congratulations that’s amazing news!!

@waitingforourmiracle beta is Friday (25/07). I’m in the uk and clinic is in Ireland so I’ve decided not to travel over just for beta and was going to pay for it privately locally, but I’ve been super lucky and my GP agreed to give me an appointment for it ♥️ I’ve felt heavy in lower stomach and boobs too and I got full quickly while eating on Thursday and Friday I think it was so 🤞🏼♥️

@FancyGoose thank you so much ♥️ happy to hear your beta has gone as expected 🙌🏻 I’m not as far as you but I’m exactly the same, so so grateful but really conscious about line progression in case it’s a chemical / beta being high enough 😩😭

waitingforourmiracle · 21/07/2025 16:38

@waitingforourmiracle I'm in Manchester, my last clinic did beta not sure why this clinic doesn't, I might try the GP if I get a positive test but they weren't very helpful when I needed other bloods! My boobs have been hurting since I started progesterone so I can't even say thats a symptom haha!

@GamerGirl09 - tagged myself 😂

GamerGirl09 · 21/07/2025 18:06

@waitingforourmiracle well tagging yourself might count as the brain stutters 🤣 ah I’m in West Yorkshire so close! That sucks your GP weren’t helpful with the other bloods. Tbf I thought mine wouldn’t let me either but thought I’d be cheeky and ask and they let me book in for the pre-ivf tests! So thought I’d try my luck again with this and again, thought they wouldn’t let me as they rang to ask if I was being seen private and where my blood test form was but much to my surprise I got an appointment text through!

waitingforourmiracle · 22/07/2025 09:57

@GamerGirl09 I feel like the brain fog is real this week 😂maybe that's a symptom but then again I think I'm always abit ditzy haha!! That's so good they did them for you!! What made you decide to go to Ireland for treatment?

@Ks2023 I can see the line!! 😍how exciting! Congratulations! Have you felt many symptoms this week?

SparklyMintBeaker · 22/07/2025 12:28

Hi all
what day have your clinics told you to test?
i started progesterone pessaries and injections on Saturday and have been feeling very crampy, can’t sleep well at night and I sobbed yesterday for no good reason.
can anyone relate?
i’ve also not told any of my friends about this process so it’s just me venting to my other half.
so happy for everyone with positive tests! Congrats and praying that those little embryos stick well!

Ks2023 · 22/07/2025 12:33

@waitingforourmiracle thank you. I’m just not getting exited till my beta on Monday.its my not first rodeo 🤣 I had no symptoms at all, even my boobs stoped hurting but still little bit full. I’m taking progesterone 800mg so I guess it’s due to progesterone.

waitingforourmiracle · 22/07/2025 13:10

@SparklyMintBeaker I've been struggling sleeping and usually I don't, think it's just so much on my mind! You have us to rant too, we understand! My OTD is 12 days after transfer but will test before then! Sorry if you've said, have you already had your transfer?

@Ks2023 ah I absolutely get that! My boyfriend has said he won't let himself get too excited until there is a baby in his arms, he's very guarded!! I still haven't had any real symptoms, sometimes think I'm getting a crampy feeling but also think it's in my head sometimes 😫

Brain fog though!! Oh my gosh, I just went to get my lunch out of my bag at work and pulled out the pregnancy test the clinic gave me😂no idea when I've put that in there!! Also, I can't type a sentence without have to retype every word 🙈

SparklyMintBeaker · 22/07/2025 13:15

@waitingforourmiracle I usually sleep so easily but I struggled a lot during stims too, the hormones give me some anxiety which really affects my sleep 🙈 my transfer is on Thursday hopefully. I haven’t asked the clinic when to test but I’ve been seeing lots of people testing on day 6 or 7 so was wondering if I should do the same. I wish my other half was as guarded, I feel like he doesn’t get how this may not work, it’s our first transfer so we never know but I’m being very guarded and almost negative about it all.

waitingforourmiracle · 22/07/2025 13:22

@SparklyMintBeaker best of luck for Thursday! I will be testing on day 7 so Friday this week but last time I tested on day 6 and got a faint positive! Aw it's hard isn't it not to get hopes up! I feel very negative about this transfer to be honest even though it's probably our best chance of success based on grading but I think it's a protection thing for us!

@waitingforourmiracle thank you and best of luck for Friday too! Which test will you use?

waitingforourmiracle · 22/07/2025 14:56

@SparklyMintBeaker Thank you, I've got some FRER at home I ordered from Amazon as well as some cheapy strip tests!

Hi all, after today’s scan the transfer booked for 29th! Got a new list of medication and anxiety over the roof. Also they have Covid restrictions again in Greece, so partners not allowed in the clinic.. 😳 and need to do a test before..I thought we are done with it?!

waitingforourmiracle · 22/07/2025 16:08

@FlatWhiteAnyone eee best of luck!! Oh that's rubbish he can't be in the clinic! I also had to do a test before. Out of interest, what made you decide to go abroad? We looked at it but decided to stay local as my partner is self employed it seemed harder work for us!

FlatWhiteAnyone · 22/07/2025 16:21

@waitingforourmiraclewe have moved from UK a few years ago. Did a few ivf cycles where we currently live with OE. Now doing DE treatment in Greece. We found first the egg bank and then the clinic they work with. But I wish I did my OE cycles there in Greece too!
