I’m currently on 4dp5dt and trying to keep myself busy and not thinking about symptom spotting but it’s hard.
in the past I’ve tested on day 5 but feeling nervous about it as I feel like I have absolutely no symptoms other than being tired and cranky but don’t think I can blame that on IVF 😅

Tentative congrats!!! Everything crossed for you, hope you can get some joy from this! But I feel you, I also feel really anxious. You’re not alone, just take each day as it comes and be kind to yourself xx

@daisyjones03 congratulations!! @Rettafun thats a fantastic line. It’s ok for you to both be anxious and completely normal. Keeping everything crossed for you. Did you both have any symptoms?

I’m in panic mode this morning as I feel like I haven’t had any symptoms?? @Eagerlywaiting1990 I feel like I might be having a day you had yesterday today? It’s like a bloody rollercoaster and not one I am particularly enjoying. @Ginny91 how you feeling today?

@Purpleflowers17 if it's any consolation I'm still having one of those days 😒. Feeling like a hormonal monster and like I'm probably gonna cry everyday until I eventually know the outcome. Feeling really mentally drained.

@Purpleflowers17 I had one evening of cramps but nothing since then and my boobs feel a bit sore?? But I can't help but think its all in my head or that its the progesterone..

I did have plans with friends tonight but everyone's getting poorly so I think they're gonna cancel. Tbh Ive just been away 2 days for work & visiting a friend so am quite looking forward to getting home and watching a movie or 5! How about you? xx

@Ginny91 sorry you're in the same boat too. A wee quiet weekend with lots of nice movies sounds bliss.
We're gonna have a day of watching rugby and gonna get a take away tonight. 😃 xxx

hope everyone is keeping well and staying busy. My mind has been completely scrambled the last week since I’ve started testing.
Today is officially test day and it’s been 13 looong days. The test that they gave me is quite light so I will probably go to my gp and ask to do HCG so that I know if it’s viable at this stage and I’m not stuck in limbo.
The test with my son (second pic) was soo much darker at this stage that it makes me think it’s not great news for us.

@FrostedFlake sorry you're stuck in this limbo after being through the horror that is ivf and the tww. I guess it could have just been later to implant but I understand you protecting your heart and I know I would do the same. I hope you manage to get your bloods tested and that it gives you some clarity. Holding out hope for you 💗 xx

Good morning ladies :) I did the test this morning. Theoretically not meant to it till 7th February, but I couldn't wait. (My transfer was 27th). It looks like a faint line, but still a line? 😅

Thank you @Eagerlywaiting1990 and @Elena3! I’ve had a chemical pregnancy before and I’m worried it’s the same again as the line should technically be much darker. My current clinic don’t do HCG so will have to see if I can get them done privately. I’m sure it shouldn’t be an issue.

@FrostedFlake thank you! x it is so insane that places like IFV clinics don't do such tests. In Latvia a gynecologist can refer you to a normal GP practice lab to do one of those (you pay like 3 euros maybe), or you can even self refer, just book yourself and do it... It is so hard to understand why things are so complex here. I feel for you :(
Before actually starting with the IVF clinic, it was an absolute bureaucratic nightmare to get all the blood tests done, considering some of them had to be done during specific days of the cycle.For me that was probably the most nerve-racking part of the process.

@Elena3 massive congratulations! That is a great line. I'm a day behind you and really struggling to not test. I'm an absolute bag of nerves. Did you have any symptoms? Xx

YAY @Elena3 so so pleased for you 🥹 I started off with a clearblue and moved onto boots early response to track line progress which made me feel much better as the pink dye seemed clearer to read. Xx

@FrostedFlake exactly what @Eagerlywaiting1990 said! So sorry you are stuck in this limbo it is horrible. Good idea on going to your GP,is it worth buying a test also? The clinic may have given you a cheapy one? Hope you are as ok as you can be,IVF and TWW really does test you! Xx

@Eagerlywaiting1990 Thank you x I don't really have any symptoms! There was one evening when I had a heartburn, and I never-ever-ever got them. I was told by some ladies here that it can be one of the clear signs.
I had an emotional meltdown on Thursday over something insignificant, and I am not really prone to those. I was just ready to cry over anything that day.

@Elena3 I'm ready to cry at anything and everything but think that's just my frazzled brain 😂

@Elena3 congratulations that’s a great line.

I have unsurprisingly not been overly emotional but I am absolutely knackered most the day. Then keep getting hot flushes but think that’s due to the Pessaries. Apart from that I feel fine well I feel bloated but that’s standard 😂

@Eagerlywaiting1990 at this point it is really difficult to see whether it is an actual pregnancy sign, or this could be pms, or being hormonal because of the medication, I know what you mean :D

@FrostedFlake I think your line looks pretty good! Did you say you can go to the gp for a HCG test? Let us know if you have any luck! I don't know if my clinic does it so might check before I get to testing..

@Eagerlywaiting1990 & @Elena3 how're you guys feeling today? I thought I was doing ok not crying and then something with my family has sparked it this eve and I've been a mess :( feel like a fuse box it only takes the smallest thing

@Ginny91 I think I'm out. My boobs have been swollen and sensitive and tonight they feel back to normal. Im gutted xxx

@Eagerlywaiting1990 my boobs feel one day massive and the next nothing back to normal. I wouldn’t worry about that it’s the progesterone it plays havoc with us. Our hormones are all over the place!!

@Eagerlywaiting1990 oh no, I’m sorry you are feeling like it hasn’t worked. I think it’s normal to have certain symptoms for a couple of days and then for them to go away. As long as you haven’t gotten a full bleed you should still be okay. Would you consider testing to put your mind at ease?

@Ginny91 thank you! I’ve spoken to the nursing team at my clinic and they will be able to do bloods tomorrow. The last time as I had a good line they just booked me in for an ultrasound however this time around I’m glad they are able to do my bloods so that I know either way as I hate this feeling of not knowing if it’s viable as it really messes with your head.
