I’m currently on 4dp5dt and trying to keep myself busy and not thinking about symptom spotting but it’s hard.
in the past I’ve tested on day 5 but feeling nervous about it as I feel like I have absolutely no symptoms other than being tired and cranky but don’t think I can blame that on IVF 😅

@Hollielouise I'm just on progesterone pessaries. Had a hint of a tender nipple last night, but not sure. Might be imagining it.

Hello @YellowTack. You are only a few days behind me. I transferred on 2 Feb. I was thinking I might test on Sunday which would be 7dp5dt but not sure. Bit scared to. However the waiting is becoming a real struggle. Hopefully the weekend will be easier as more going on. Right now I am just wfh and keep veering off to read MN and think about the 2ww....

Eagerlywaiting1990 · 07/02/2025 12:13

@spamOFtheDAY I did long protocol ivf in July last year. Got 7 eggs and was lucky enough to get 6 blastocysts on day 5. Sadly my fresh transfer in July didn't implant so I started the medicated protocol for a FET (again with downregulation) just before Christmas (my nhs clinic insist on a 3-4 month gap to get your body back to normal). My embryo was a 4AA but my previous one that didn't implant was also a 4AA so I don't give grading too much attention. This is my first ever BFP and I have been ttc for over 3 years. I have a blocked tube but nothing else identified.

Wishing you all the best for your tww and the others. I don't think I've cried as much in my life as I have in the past 9 days. Please look after yourselves ladies this is a bloody hard process. Sending sooo much baby dust to you all! Xx

Elena3 · 07/02/2025 12:20

@Eagerlywaiting1990 , @Ginny91 massive congratulations ladies! Excellent news xx

@spamOFtheDAY I did short protocol, no down regulation. 23 eggs retrieved, (7 embryos) followed by OHHS and therefore they decided to change it to FET to give me some time to recover. The clinic told me the embryos are great quality, but in the reality the best ones were 5BB, which is apparently very average, so I don't know why we were told that those are great. However, it doesn't matter that much, because apparently grading can improve within one day and even immediately after thawing apparently.
Today is the day of my test, 11 days post transfer, and there are two clear bright lines. I don't have that many symptoms - some water retention, vivid dreams 3 -4 days in a row, and some light cramps from time to time :) Mood swings too, some days better, some worse.

YellowTack · 07/02/2025 14:54

@OneWaryCat I am the same, WFH but can’t really concentrate. I just want to know already! I am also hoping that the weekend will distract me and then it’s just a few more days to go!

I am tempted to test at 7dp5dt but I had a double Zivafert trigger and have read that it can take up to 14 days to leave the system! That’s the only thing that has convinced me to wait a little longer because otherwise I have no self control!

OneWaryCat · 07/02/2025 16:04

@YellowTack Yes I had Ovitrelle as a trigger which can apparently take 10 days to work out the system but my trigger was Sunday 26th Jan so by this Sunday it will be two weeks.

I've just ordered 2 more tests so if I start on Sunday I can carry on testing for a few days. If it's negative on Sunday then I might wait a bit longer rather than put myself through it each day.

YellowTack · 08/02/2025 20:28

@OneWaryCat good luck for your test tomorrow!

OneWaryCat · 09/02/2025 07:51

Morning

Thanks @yellowtack

Woke up at 3am desperate for the loo and decided to test, given it was technically the first wee of the day.

Got a faint positive. 🙏

Can't really believe it. Was so sure it would be negative. Obviously I then barely slept a wink for the rest of the night.

Trying not to get my hopes up too much and will test again tomorrow but really pleased to still be 'in' this strange process.

Roll on Thursday. Xx

YellowTack · 09/02/2025 10:07

OMG @OneWaryCat congratulations, that’s an amazing news.

I think I spend too much time on this forum because I had a dream during the night that you posted a message on forum and that it was positive 😂.

Elena3 · 09/02/2025 10:47

@OneWaryCat that's excellent news, yeeessss!!! :) xx

OMG @OneWaryCat congratulations, that’s an amazing news.

I think I spend too much time on this forum because I had a dream during the night that you posted a message on forum and that it was positive 😂.

That's so weird because I came online in the early hours and saw your message and NEARLY did post at 4am and then stopped myself because I thought 'no, don't be weird, try go back to sleep'.

I do think this process does weird things to your dreams though. I made myself go to the cinema last night so I had to be off my phone for the evening as I needed to try give my brain a break.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, we're definitely not counting our chickens yet. Praying it's sticky. 🙏

Hollielouise · 09/02/2025 15:46

Yay congrats @OneWaryCat ✨🥰 You lasted longer than I did! I caved at 4dp5dt and (thankfully) got a faint positive... the daily testing and anxiety remains however 🫠. Hope you're able to enjoy your positive today x

Eagerlywaiting1990 · 09/02/2025 19:26

Congratulations to all the ladies with freshly positive tests- great news xx

Ginny91 · 10/02/2025 17:45

Congratulations to all the positives!

@Eagerlywaiting1990 & @Purpleflowers17 how're you both? Hope you had restful weekends 💛my scan is booked in for the 3rd March, seems endlessly far off. I've also hopped over to this thread now https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/infertility/5258938-bfp-after-ivf-due-october-2025?page=6&reply=142052462 if you fancy it :)

Much love to all x

Hi all I thought I would create a thread for our BFPs after IVF. A bit about me: 34 years old (35 next month) 2x failed transfers and 1x failed to t...

OneWaryCat · 10/02/2025 18:30

Thanks @Ginny91. Feel bit scared about joining the new thread until I've had my OTD, although I did let myself dare to try figure out what a possible future 'due date' might be
Still trying to keep my feet on the ground as to whether this is really 'real' or not. Such a crazy process to go through.

Exciting news for your scan date, bet it feels great to have that in. If we make it to early scan then that is when we plan to tell family so it feels like a real milestone. X

Eagerlywaiting1990 · 10/02/2025 19:43

@Ginny91 I booked mine today too and it's on 27th February. Feeling really anxious about it - just want some good news! Gonna have to keep my head very busy over the next 17 days 😂 xxx

Ginny91 · 10/02/2025 20:12

@OneWaryCat completely understand, do what you need to do to keep yourself calm through it all 💛

@Eagerlywaiting1990 great! Really hoping there is good news for you 💛and yeah I'm desperate for something to take my mind off but finding it hard to settle into anything as I get distracted so easily. I've got a lot of work coming up but that doesn't necessarily help!

Eagerlywaiting1990 · 10/02/2025 20:17

@Ginny91 it's trying to strike the right balance between being busy and yet not stressed. We were away for the weekend and I'm absolutely shattered...early night tonight 😂xx

Same 😂I'm literally headed to bed now and realised its only 8:30 ! Fuck it we deserve a rest...

OneWaryCat · 11/02/2025 13:54

Just another 2 days to go for me until OTD. When on earth are we able to 'relax' and enjoy a 'positive'?

YellowTack · 12/02/2025 13:29

@OneWaryCat just a couple more days for you to go!

I have resisted testing until now, but I think I might test tomorrow as I will be 8dp5dt. I am terrified but I really want to know!

OneWaryCat · 12/02/2025 15:11

@YellowTack GOOD LUCK! Wishing you all the best for it. I was terrified but at least you have an idea either way, instead of suffering completely blind for the next couple of days.

My OTD is tomorrow. Was planning to take the day off and chilly with DH but he has a very ill relative now so might not be around, in which case - I may as well work! I have so much on at the moment. Was really looking forward to slowing down a bit.

YellowTack · 13/02/2025 09:13

So I tested this morning at 8dp5dt with a Easy@Home test and I am a little confused. There is definitely a second line but it’s very faint. I had to pee during the night so maybe that’s why.

I think I will wait a couple more days before letting myself be excited just in case. My official OTD is Sunday but I need to also test on Monday as this is the day I need to inform the clinic of the outcome.

Good thing I ordered a full box of tests because I already couldn’t stop me from testing a second time this morning.

OneWaryCat · 13/02/2025 09:50

Don't worry @yellowtack - I think it's very normal to have a faint line if your testing early. Mine were all faint and then got a bit stronger as days went on due to rising HCG levels. Great news you got a faint positive. Congrats!

I tested daily from 7dp5dt and it stayed positive and I had OTD today and got a positive. Crossing fingers for you!

YellowTack · 13/02/2025 10:02

@OneWaryCat congratulations for reaching OTD!

I now need to be patient and continue testing and hopefully the line will get darker in a few days! At the moment I can’t really believe it.

I feel a bit nauseous which I am taking as a good sign!
