Transfer buddies?

Hi everyone. Had my 4th transfer on Monday. Now 4DP5DT and getting antsy! The two week wait is so hard. Any transfer buddies to keep me company? X

It definitely looks positive to me. Does your OH know you are testing early? Mine has asked me not to - but it’s so hard. Maybe test again tomorrow morning? Do you have any symptoms?

No he doesn't, we were going to test sat or Sunday. I'm not going to lie and play dumb, I'll tell him either way before and say sorry I caved, I'm gonna take another one later, if that's negative ill say something like "i know we are testing before, but i did cave today and got some mix results so don't know exactly where we stand" or something. Obviously if later is a clear positive I'll not phrase it like that

My clear blue was fainter than yesterday but my frer today is a pretty clear positive. The clear blue being even more of a squinter than yesterday concerns me, but im trying to be happy that I got a clear positive with frer. In an ideal world I'd hold off a few days to give the line a chance to get darker, but who am I kidding 😂

@wateringcanface thats definitely a clear positive on the FRER, I’m glad you managed to get hold of some. All you can do now is keep testing, when is your official test date? Do you have any symptoms?
I am 8dp5dt tomorrow so going to test then, I’m not feeling optimistic as no real symptoms other than cramping which I’ve had on/off since about 3dpt so I think it’s gone on too long to be implantation.

I can't remember when official test date is 😂, I have Tuesday in my diary which will be 9dpt but that seems too soon.

I've had period type cramping all the way through. On Wednesday, I had a sudden, electric shock type feeling to my left, very low down, had a lingering on off twinging for a few hours later, when I read other people's implantation symptoms it sounded spot on. But more people don't feel anything like that than do, absent of that brief sensation, I've not had any noteworthy symptoms.

@wateringcanface thank you for letting me know your symptoms, that’s actually really reassuring for me! My breasts are really tender but I’m 99% that’s the progesterone as they were that way before transfer.
My official test date is 13dpt but I know the clinics are all different so yours may well be Tuesday!
Did you ended up telling your OH yet?

No problem, symptom spotting isn't a great idea as the symptoms all mimic progesterone, i ended up doing it regardless. But I have had cramps last few days and not so much first couple of days.

Yeah I showed him the frer this morning. Tbh he pooped on the party as he said "that's not a positive, its only positive if same thickness and clarity as control line", I then proceeded to show him that early lines are faint, and explained how hgc increases over time, he still went onto say he won't take it as a positive till it's a dark line 🙄.

@wateringcanface you’re so right about symptom spotting but it’s so hard, I would give someone else exactly the same advice but then not take it myself.
It sounds like your OH is keeping you grounded. I am so hopeful for line progression for you over the coming days!

So I did a FRER this morning and it’s glaringly positive BUT I didn’t test out my trigger - trigger was 15 days ago. Do we think I can trust this result? My trigger was 10,000iu Zivafert if that helps. Instead of being happy I am now kicking myself for not testing out the trigger.

I really doubt your trigger will be in your system now, and if it was it would be so faint, so if you've had a strong positive that's a great sign

I had the worry r.e the sensitivity thing, but ultimately it's a 2ww thread, we are all hoping for the same outcome while acknowledging not everyone will have the same outcome this round. You are allowed to be chuffed and share when it's your turn to get good news x

I'm still a bit in limbo, I'd have expected a darker positive today, so I'm preparing myself for a chemical.

Either way, I'm ultimately going accept it as a positive, my fear with how poor the embryos were, and that all arrested by day 6, was that the two poor ones transferred (one wasn't even a blast) were just going to have the same fate, so the fact I've had a positive, even if it doesn't stick, shows our embryos can stick and develop. Last week, we were discussing our feelings on donor sperm in the future, now I feel that we were premature to have that discussion.

I don't think 7 is any darker than 6

They do look quite similar but it’s also hard to tell on a photo - keep testing and hopefully they will continue to progress.
I remember earlier in the thread you weren’t very optimistic about the embryos so as you say the fact you have got this far is a really good sign. Everything crossed for you x

I had to go out and get a digital, I’m taking this is as a good sign! I don’t think a trigger 15 days ago could show 2-3 weeks.

OTD today, will ring with my results at 9. I've started to feel sickly and off last couple of days, don't know if it's too soon to be pregnancy symptoms or its just anxiety.

I'm going to mention on the phone that I'm concerned that all my cramps are located very far left, I've read that can be a symtom of ectopic.

I dunno about you @Nic28j but I just can't get excited, 🙁. I feel like I'm just waiting for something to go wrong. Im not normally such a pessimistic person.
