I'm having an embryo transfer next week ans was wondering if anyone else is also transferring next week and would like to join the thread ? :)

Also any embryo transfer tips pre and post would be appreciated! 🥰

@Anon645 my FET is on Tuesday. Going in for progesterone blood test on the Monday.

I haven't been offered a progesterone blood test ? I don't go back go the clinic until next Friday for the transfer...I haven't been offered a progesterone blood test the day before like you..

Hi. I have a fet next week as well. It’s my first transfer. I am nervous but trying not to overthink. It’s a medicated transfer and I started progesterone injections and gel this evening. I haven’t been offered a blood test beforehand either !

Have you guys done triggers this week? I have just done my Ovitrelle trigger . I'm confused why I have to trigger tonight even though I'm not transferring until next Friday.

@Anon645 I am prescribed estrogen tablets and progesterone suppositories and baby aspirin after transfer. I am having the blood test before transfer just in case my levels are low I can increase my dosage or have injections. This protocol has been agreed, as I had a early miscarriage previously. On my successful round this is what we did.

Have you done your trigger shot ? I did mine last night for next Fridays transfer. When did you do yours ? It feels so early !

I don’t have a trigger shot. It’s strange how we all have such different protocols. I’m also on oral estrogen and aspirin . Best of luck to all on this thread !

Hey I will be having my FET on Wednesday - I started my progesterone suppositories and already there causing me soreness would you recommend taking them rectally or vaginally?

@Anon645 Have you had your eggs collected already? Or are you having them collected tomorrow? Then the trigger would make sense as they’d be transferring a 5 day embryo on Friday if you get one.

@CEllenx ive heard you can take them rectally but you could check with your clinic just in case ? Im on the Crinone gel myself not the suppository ones

Hiiiii! I'm having a fresh transfer on Monday. I'm having my treatment abroad so fly out tomorrow evening. Transfer Monday afternoon with acupuncture before and after then fly home. I have 7 day 3 embryos at present, not sure how many I will have on Monday but hopefully at least one!

I have FET this Thursday, our last embryo for a sibling. Had my progesterone blood test today which should be okay as I'm on lubion injections as well as pessaries 🤞🏾and on a high dose of oestrogen then blood thinning injections will be added to the mix on from Thursday evening!

When are your OTDs? Mine will be Monday 14th October but I'm pretty sure I will cave in and test early! 😬

I had my fresh transfer yesterday of a 5AA. They've told me to test on 14th October too but there is absolutely no way I can wait that long!
I'm currently testing out the trigger and can't see myself stopping doing a morning test tbh!

Will be good to go have someone on a similar time scale!

Hello, I had my FET today. My pregnancy blood test is on the 10th October.
I have my fingers crossed for us all X

@teampacey are you doing tests every morning to see when the trigger goes? 2 weeks is such a long time to wait! I think after my fresh one I tested 9 days after but after my frozen ones I've started testing 4 days after...I have zero self control 😂

@BrightStar2021congrats on being PUPO! Exiting times! Will you be able to hold on until the 10th? I don't think my place does a blood test to check

I had my FET on 20th sept, ive done a test tonight as i couldnt wait but got a negative. My official test day is Thursday, whats the chances of it turning positive on the morning? Or is the negative test correct even though iv done it on a night? i wish i hadnt done it now. iv no hope 😥

What tests have you used? I would try in the morning with your first wee and also maybe use the frer tests if you haven't already xx

@MammaKG yes- today's is very faint so hopefully nearly gone. I couldn't believe it when they said I needed to wait 2 weeks from transfer. I just don't have that much patience!

It's a funny old rollercoaster this. I've felt so positive since egg collection day until today and then I've just woken up this morning thinking it's not going to work. Wish I could just sleep through the TWW!

I did a clearblue test, wasnt an early detection or anything. Iv ordered some FRER. its my last egg i have left. Is it possible for that to be a false negative? x

@hayleyA89 it's really hard to say. But maybe just wait until your OTD and use the frer test

Transfer done today 😊 it was our last embryo, fully hatched so hopefully it will be okay 🤞🏾
