EMBRYO TRANSFER NEXT WEEK

I'm having an embryo transfer next week ans was wondering if anyone else is also transferring next week and would like to join the thread ? :)

Also any embryo transfer tips pre and post would be appreciated! 🥰

@MammaKG erm now I've been testing like a complete nutter. I've forgotten what it's like to pee without collecting it and then sitting in the bathroom for 5 minutes hahahaha! I've booked in with the midwife and have booked an early private scan so it's all go and feeling more real. I'm still scared but focusing on thinking positive!
I've got everything crossed for a BFP for you very soon.

@tumblebumbleweed I just ordered them off Amazon for next day delivery! Although the one I have used today is an old one so could be out of date...I can't tell if it expired on 10th July or 7th October...it says 2024-10-07 so I think it's October. I actually just looked at my tests from my little boy and the frer still shows the faint line from 5dp. I compared it with today's and there is definitely nothing! Interestingly though the cheap ones from my little boy you can now only see the lines from 8dp, the ones before then have vanished. I know, so sad for keeping them all, I just can't get rid!

@Missmarymack2 thank you. It's gone now but I think you just cling onto anything to make you feel like it's worked!

@MammaKG 3rd Nov! 3 weeks on Sunday. I'm doing the sneak peak gender blood test too!
I had some mild cramps over the weekend which then stopped so could be a good sign!

@Missmarymack2 eeeek good luck! Have you got any plans for the weekend to keep busy?

Yep! How crazy is that?! Takes about a week but it's my birthday mid November so I'm going to wait til then to open it!

@MammaKG yup a blood test. I'm having the scan too cos there was an offer on with money off and also I want an early scan- not going back to Prague for it! But they can do it with just the blood test. I do think it's a girl but happy either way!

Yikes we've had 2 clear blue positives this morning and 1-2 weeks on the digital one. Obviously very very very early days so going to see how the next few days pan out. Def wasn't expecting this!

We are still BFN so I think that's going to remain the same now just basing it off previous times 😢 absolutely gutted

Next week is my test day but given people on here are getting positives so early on I don't know what to do. If I'm honest im scared to test at all because I feel right now I'm in ignorant bliss assuming I'm pregnant, and testing could bring that reality down.

Although I did fancy some super noodles this morning (progesterone hormones maybe ?) 😂

How many days post transfer have you tested?

@tumblebumbleweed we were last Thursday too. Also, my logical brain tells me that as the embryo was a already fully hatched, if it was going to implant it would have happened quicker than one that doesn't have to break out of it's outer shell so to speak.

@Missmarymack2 so true, thank you. I have seen where the positive comes later so I will still keep testing but I always think these free ones are quite sensitive so we'll see

@Anon645 totally know what you mean about ignorant bliss, sometimes it's easier not to know either way just for that little bit. But I am too much of a control freak...I always need to have a plan and next steps! So currently checking holidays that leave next Wednesday in case it's definitely negative then we can go abroad!
