Hope you're all feeling ok post EC. 💕
Has anyone had any idea of timescale when the withdrawal bleed will be and how many periods before the FET cycle?

@LeoStar24 and a very happy birthday to you! X

Hoppy1985 · 03/08/2024 10:28

@Seasidegirll I'm so sorry I've just seen your post about your test day news. I hope you're ok too and finding some positive distractions until you're able to face going again x

Faith2024 · 03/08/2024 16:35

Happy birthday @LeoStar24 🎂 . Have a wonderful weekend.

Congratulations @Becky105 , may it continue to darken.

I had my beta blood test today at day 12 and it was 1101. Nurse said it was a great result but I have no concept of good or bad just that it varies for people. I am booked in for a scan week beginning 19th.

kirstysmbc · 03/08/2024 16:54

@Faith2024 Congrats, that's an awesome result. If you want a rough idea of ranges by dpo, I've used this website in the past - www.betabase.info/chart/basic/single

It gives an average of what people have had for successful pregnancies by dpo. Click on the day and you can see a bit more of a breakdown. Yours is very strong 😊

My clinic have said they like to keep testing until hcg is over 1000, so I'll do one more next week and then they say a scan for 16 August if all ok.

Faith2024 · 03/08/2024 23:32

Thanks @kirstysmbc that’s really helpful. I am grateful to be at this point and I just want to switch off from testing now.

LeoStar24 · 04/08/2024 11:05

Morning all! Can you see it or is it just me?! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

EvaA17 · 04/08/2024 11:11

@LeoStar24 I can definitely see a line! Fingers and everything crossed that it keeps getting stronger and stronger 🤞🤍

kirstysmbc · 04/08/2024 11:12

@LeoStar24 I definitely see it, congrats! Keeping everything crossed it keeps getting darker 🤞🤞

Indigopantha · 04/08/2024 11:20

@LeoStar24 yes I can see a line! How many days are you now? Fingers crossed it keeps getting stronger

LeoStar24 · 04/08/2024 11:27

@Indigopantha @kirstysmbc @EvaA17 Thank you so much!! I am 5dp5dt, I said I wasn't going to test again until Tuesday but I was feeling a bit sick yday and now have sore boobs when I touch them and thought something must have gone on yday!

Indigopantha · 04/08/2024 11:28

So I am now 9dp5dt and my OTT for a beta blood test is tmrw. I tested negative with FRER this morning again. How likely is it that I could be positive tmrw if testing negative today?

i feel like a beta blood test tmrw is a waste of money and time with so many negative tests I’m sure it’s not going to be positive.

But I have read that a v small amount of women have late implantation and the HCG isn’t high enough to test positive on FRER, but there’s still a chance on the beta test it will be positive. But not sure if that’s just wishful thinking.

what do you think? I’m tempted to stop the meds and just do FRER test tmrw instead of spending the extra time and money on the blood test.. advice please 🙏🏽

kirstysmbc · 04/08/2024 11:40

@Indigopantha I'm sorry that you're still getting a bfn today. I have refused to do a blood test in the past when I have tested negative, and when I've tested positive but they've got much lighter. I had to pay about £100 for each test, and it was a 1.5hr round trip to do it. I agreed to do a hpt two days after OTD and if it was still negative, I would stop taking meds.

Is your clinic overseas? A lot of UK clinics just go by hpt anyway. Personally if I got a negative frer on day 10 I'd not go for a blood test but would speak to my clinic.

Indigopantha · 04/08/2024 12:07

Thanks @kirstysmbc yes that’s how I feel, it’s £130 for the test and my clinic are overseas. It’s about 1hr each way for the test and also the day my fiancée comes back from sea.. so massive downer on his first day Back. It’s easier to accept it now instead of another expensive reminder I guess.

also every £100 counts leading up to our wedding end of the month.

Becky105 · 04/08/2024 12:22

@Indigopantha my clinic gave me 2 at home tests and their instructions were test on 9th August (11 dpt), then if it is negative let them know but keep taking meds and test again in 1 weeks time to be sure either way. I would not stop taking the meds until your clinic has told you to.

Indigopantha · 04/08/2024 14:40

Thanks @Becky105 I’ll keep taking the meds and I’ll send my clinic a message tmrw morning to see if they still want me to take a the Beta test and if they say yes I won’t be able to stop the meds until I’ve got my result in a few days anyway. Thanks for the advice 🩷

Hoppy1985 · 04/08/2024 15:22

@LeoStar24 I can definitely see a faint line too. What a birthday present, I hope that continues to darken.

@Indigopantha my understanding from the doctor was that although it's usually 6-10 days on average for implantation on a FET, an embryo can implant up to 12 days after transfer and obviously it would take a few days after implantation for it to be able to register on a test (obviously some implant quicker) so it is still possible and why they tell people to wait 2 weeks I guess. I agree with the advice about continuing to take the meds until the clinic advise you to stop.

Becky105 · 05/08/2024 09:35

Morning, I've done another test today and I think the line is getting darker. For those of you who have had chemicals what should I be looking out for and when? I am really not getting to carried away with myself until I feel like this isn't a chemical.

@Indigopantha have you done any more at home tests?

@LeoStar24 have you done any more tests?

Indigopantha · 05/08/2024 09:51

@Becky105 yes i dis some more home tests and the FRER has the faintest line… almost invisible on camera tbh..( but it was between the 3-5min mark) you have to zoom into see 😂 could be an evap line though

@Hoppy1985 Thankyou for the advice, I’ve decided to go get the blood test today and at least then I’ll know for sure. theres a small chance I’m in that small percentage of women that have a v slow HCG rise and late implantation.

LeoStar24 · 05/08/2024 11:15

@Becky105 I did one this morning but I had been for a wee a little while before so I just got rid of it, there wasn't any more progress on the line. Hopefully will try again tomorrow.

How are you feeling?

Becky105 · 05/08/2024 11:32

@Indigopantha oooooh I'm still keeping everything crossed. I think a Beta is a good idea to give you some clarity.

@LeoStar24 I feel absolutely normal. I don't think I have any symptoms. Yesterday I was achey but I think that was just from wearing converse shoes all day at the hag do and being on my feet for 12 hours and I have a slight sore area on one boob... But I think that's a bruise coming (someone hugged me really hard whilst wearing a shot glass necklace and it dug into me).

Have you got any symptoms /how you feeling?

LeoStar24 · 05/08/2024 11:41

@Becky105 ahh right, I am feeling quite nauseous but nothing more than that really. Also I'm getting some cramps randomly today. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I can't believe you've reached 7days!

Mfiwife · 05/08/2024 12:34

@Becky105 your tests look exactly like mine did at 5dp5dt & 6dp5dt. I’m 14dp5dt now, my OTD was yesterday & my lines look like this.. my clinic don’t do betas so just have to wait two weeks for a scan now! But from everything I’ve read, seeing lines on 5dp5dt really increases chances of a successful pregnancy so I’d say things are looking really positive for you! X

Becky105 · 05/08/2024 15:54

@Mfiwife thank you, that's really comforting. My clinic is the same, no beta just home tests. So at the first scan, that will confirm not chemical? Like if they can see something in there?

Mfiwife · 05/08/2024 16:01

Yeah so my understanding is that chemical a loss before 5 weeks (but I could be wrong that’s just from google!) when I have my scan I’ll be 7 weeks so just hoping at that point to see baby is in the right place and has a heart beat 🤞🏼 x

kirstysmbc · 05/08/2024 16:12

@Mfiwife @Faith2024 @EvaA17 Happy OTD ladies, have you all got scans booked in now? Assuming my bloods today are over 1000, my clinic want me to do one around 16th which is quite early!

@Becky105 Good news that's it's getting darker! It's so hard not to worry about chemicals, but it's the biggest challenge of testing early. I've had two and progression on those stopped by about 8/9dpt. Fingers crossed it's not something you'll need to worry about.

@Indigopantha good luck with the beta, I really hope it's good news for you.
