Welcome to anyone who wants to join me for their May FET! My transfer date is actually 30/04 but the TWW and test day will be in May so thought I’d see if I could find some buddies! The April thread is very full so thought it would be good to start fresh!

😆 I think 5 days is still early! I plan to do a test on Thursday or Friday (depending on my will power 🫣) Hope you'll see that second line appear in the next few days!!

Anyone else going insane? I had a FET transfer on 9th and have zero symptoms just a little tired and a headache today but I always get one before AF!

The only time I had a BFP (ended in MMC) I did have the usual symptoms, sore boobs, exhausted, so bloated, pains etc.

Anyone experience different symptoms but still successful or am I reaching?

@Infert1lel1fe its so hard because what are symptoms of BFP in one person can be BFN in another. I don’t know what to expect from mine. I’ve been lucky to have had it work before but it was a fresh cycle so I don’t know if FET will feel different or not.

btw I had transfer on 13th, does that make today 2dp5de

Sorry @Infert1lel1fe I've never had a bfp so not sure what to look out for but you get some good news soon.

@kirstysmbc @Fruitypineapple looks like I will be having a scan next Wednesday too now. It's a day 8 scan so lining might not be thick enough then but as I'm going for an unmedicated cycle, asked for additional monitoring! Getting nervous about leaving it natural now!

@Infert1lel1fe I had 0 symptoms when I got my BPF x

@Natty2 I am too nervous, but also excited! My scan is a day 10 lining check, if the lining is okay they won’t scan me again which worries me! I would of liked a scan prior to the transfer. Have your clinic agreed to the additional checks? X

@Natty2 Thanks, just had my scan on day 12 and it was only 7.8mm so not sure now what will happen. Waiting to hear from the clinic to see if they are happy to go forward with transfer... Good luck for your scan

Hello :) yeah the time it worked for me (well partially as I had a miscarriage) I definitely felt different but that was a fresh cycle too and now onto a FET!

Hey all. I had my scan today and everything looked good and was told to start the oestrogen tablets tomorrow. Was super excited. Until I got a call to say that there was no slot for me to have my transfer on the 03/06 and had to push it to the 06/06 but because I was going away on holiday on the 28/05 things have been pushed even further forward as I wouldn't have been available to have day 12 scan. Sooo now I start my oestrogen tablets and blood thinners next week Thursday and on Monday 27th I go in to be shown how to use buserilin injection as il have to start them and transfer now pushed to 10/06 😩 has anyone else had the buserilin as a down reg. I had prostap few weeks ago but that expires from my system and to prevent my ovaries from throwing a party im going to have to take buserilin.

Looks like lots of people are progressing onto next stage, fingers crossed for everyone.

I just wanted to check, is it OK to have tests in the prep month before you start a medicated FET? I was told I could try for end of June but I did the EMMA & ALICE today and was given go ahead to start Norethistrone today until my results come back, with the plan that if it’s all clear we go ahead etc or if its just antibiotics etc. Is this too risky? I mean it’s only 2 weeks of tablets and my consultant seems to think it’s fine. I am just very keen to get going.

@Faith2024 I don't see why not however, they normally do it in a natural cycle just after or around ovulation as then your lining is thick enough. Just check if it's OK depending on what point in your cycle you started norethisterone as if you started it from period or just after your lining might not be thick enough x

@Sherr33 that sounds a bit frustrating. it's a juggle trying to get everything to line up! hope it all goes well.

@Natty2 I am a bit anxious. I took the day after the transfer off work but actually I found myself ruminating more then as I wasn't busy, I was just relaxing and taking it easier. Being at work makes it a bit better but still! Still have another week to wait! It feels like ages. I forgot how mad this time is.

@kerrym87 thanks I have always started Norethistrone mid-cycle on day 14-15 and that’s when you can also do the Emma & Alice test. So it seems fine assuming the test brings out nothing. I am just so keen to get going.

I did a bad thing… I tested early.. and now I’m spiralling. I tested last night (7DP5DT) and got a fairly clear line, but when I tested this morning it’s not darker and looks a bit lighter! Does this mean a chemical?

PM 7DP5DT is top test
AM 8DP5DT is bottom test

Those two tests look the same for me and look good for 7dp5dt!! Don't forget the older test will dry darker than the fresh one. I had the same and now 15 days post transfer (4w+6 pregnant). HCG can be higher for some people in the evening but as long as the lines are getting darker every 48hrs. Fingers crossed for you!

I’m fretting so much and so cross at myself for testing early! I think I’ll be even more disappointed if it’s a chemical now 🙈🙈

Feeling a bit better after blood test this morning - my HCG came back at 2099! The clinic are also bringing me in for an early scan on Wednesday to check everything is in the right place etc.

Typically the brown spotting seems to have stopped as of this morning, feeling a lot less anxious!

Fingers crossed. Really not dealing well with testing early, I don’t think i’ll do that again. Just got so wound up about a chemical.

Can I ask - I'm on oestradiol Valerate, now cd 11, Scan looks good but since I've gone up to 4 a day it's upset my ibs a bit, I always got it with stims but wasn't expecting it so much this time.
I did have similar side effects with oestrogen pill when younger (also fainting!) Just curious if it's just me, know if this works ill likely feel more crappy 😂 it's just the bowel side that's tricky at moment
