Welcome to anyone who wants to join me for their May FET! My transfer date is actually 30/04 but the TWW and test day will be in May so thought I’d see if I could find some buddies! The April thread is very full so thought it would be good to start fresh!

Glad to have gotten through the TWW but now have the anxious, will I make it to the first scan fear!

Ah I know it's all those hurdles! And unknowns! How long do you need to wait?

The days are dragging and I really want to test! Only 4 days post transfer today and feels like 4 weeks! Not sure if I'm mixing up symptoms/feelings to pre period 🤔 or not. But time will tell. I might talk my partner into testing on Tuesday. But they are very no let's wait aghhh. Lol

Eek. Decided to do an early test this evening and have the faintest line on an easy at home test! I’ve been here so many times that I know this doesn’t mean a lot, but it’s a good start…

@kirstysmbc did it make you feel a bit more settled doing it?

Wasn't your transfer Wednesday too? I really want to do one. I feel something has changed today. More symptoms etc.

@Ohwow2022 I always test early and wash feeling quite hopeful as this embryo was hatching at transfer. I've not had a lot of symptoms to be honest, but I often don't when I get a positive test. It does put my mind at rest, but now there's a whole other kind of worry after so many miscarriages, but fingers crossed with such a young egg donor this should be a better quality embryo...

I hope there are many more BFPs to follow in this group

And yes, transfer was Wednesday, so am only 4 dpt.

I still want to test even before bed but don't think my partner will go for it! When is your OTD? Ours isn't until Monday 3rd.

@kirstysmbc How did you feel before doing the test? The donor we had was younger. Wishing you lots of luck ❤️

@Ohwow2022 hope the weekend is going well for you. I know what you mean about having to show face. I just want to stay in my own little world until it's test day but it's just not possible. I'm still undecided on whether to test early.

@kirstysmbc , wow congrats on your positive test. I really hope that this is the one for you and you have a successful pregnancy too. Hope this is the beginning of all the positives for the Wednesday transfers and everyone else.

Yeah this is my third FET, all medicated. First was a bfp. Second was a fail (albeit I tested early and had a faint positive) and this is our final embryo

In my clinic we've had a scan on the lining but no progesterone check. I'm on progesterone injections and suppositories though so reckon I'm fine

Still pretty much zero symptoms over here 🙋🏼‍♀️🥴 my usual period is due tomorrow or Wednesday because I have a short luteal phase (10-11 days), so I’m pretty sure I’ll be finding out relatively soon. Googling all morning “5dp5dt no symptoms” because I’m a nut case! Fingers crossed for all of us x

I am feeling exactly the same! When is your scan booked for?

i have zero symptoms and just feel like nothing is going on inside!

I am still googling pregnant and no symptoms every day 🤣 I got a BFP last week on Thursday (OTD) but still no symptoms 🤷‍♀️ so I’m hoping that doesn’t matter for either of us!

Has anyone experienced implantation bleeding?

@Infert1lel1fe huge congratulations on your BFP - I can’t wait for the day to come for me. So fascinating about no symptoms. We’ve just got to trust our bodies! Sending you lots of love. I hope and pray this week goes smoothly.

How long until your OTD? The anxiety is real though! So hard to trust anything at the mo 😂

@Infert1lel1fe my OTD is June 4th, but I’ll have a good idea beforehand I’m sure. I won’t test early because I can’t emotionally handle it. My period is due tomorrow or Wednesday.. come on, body. You can do this! I was reading all about hatching blastocysts this morning because ours was half way out before going in.. obviously keep getting my hopes up!

ooo fingers crossed for you!!! Hatching is a really good sign I think! My embryo was a bit crap but hopefully is hanging in there too

scan is 13th June, and yeah no pregnancy symptoms! I have had a few like cramps occasionally which could just mean period wants to come! So really unsure. When I had a MMC I had felt pregnant so now just so unsure!

@Infert1lel1fe Thank you. Husband and I feel sick with nerves - a lot of pressure on this transfer. We’re a little bit unexplained at the mo (other than mild endo and lazy tubes - the tubes are the main reason for the IVF, but my fresh transfer failed).. our consultant was “baffled”.. so if it doesn’t work out, I’ll have to demand extra testing. I know a lot of it is just luck/chance just like natural conceptions.. but it’s hard to not want to know WHY. Anyway, all my love and support to you! Haha “crap embryo”?! 😂😂 what a trooper!!! We’ve just got to have unwavering faith in our bodies x

@GoldenRetriever1 I think some of it is just numbers, as in the mire reasonable ones you have it's more likely that at least one will stick. Our new clinic said that as we had number but poor quality and as we'd only transferred 2 it wasn't unreasonable that they didn't necessarily take given the fragmentation. Sometimes perfect embryos don't stick and some 'crappy' embryos @Infert1lel1fe take...alot is chance!
We've got transfer tomorrow 1st medicated and progesterone only 18, they want 45 so now I have IM injections every 3 days for up to 12 weeks if it works, gona have a pin cushion bum but if it works, great. Anyone else had prontogest? X

@kerrym87 Yes that makes total sense. To be honest, I don’t know where I stand in all this. I am 31, but my eggs could be awful quality for all I know - we yielded 22 despite having an AMH of 8pmol, 14 fertilised and we got 6 embryos at the end (AABBCC).. so a pretty standard attrition rate. In over 2 years of natural trying, we never had a single positive test (probably due to my lazy tubes).. apart from a random natural conception the cycle after my failed fresh transfer (Chemical). So.. could perhaps be an egg quality issue.. or the odds have just never been in our favour! My body has been working HARD not to get pregnant 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

i don’t have a scan date yet. Doing my blood test on Weds and then will book it.

its common not to have symptoms but it’s so hard not to overthink every little thing atm. I can empathise!
