Im 33yrs old by the time my eggs are collected I'll be 34 😆
AMH = 17.9 all other parameters fine.
Partners S.A - test 1. Low morphology. test 2. Borderline everything
CARE Fertility add ons to be used - zymot and embryo glue

Starting northisterone on the 24th Jan
15/2 gonal f 225
20/02 Ganirelix joins in
23/02 scan
And potential egg collection 26/02

That's my plan 🙈
And this is our first cycle

@Hatitat88 I had it on a Wednesday, relaxed for 2 days and tried to go to work on Friday. I ended up leaving early because I couldn't even stand up straight. I then spend the next 5 days in bed in pain, it hurt to go to the toilet, it hurt to sit up, sit down, coughing, laughing, everything.
Hardly anyone else had a bad recovery so I was really starting to worry.
But all was well. I just needed more time for recovery. We are all different.
Eat lots of red meat and drink gallons of water. And hydralites. That helped me.

Hey the day of was painful for me. The day after if I laughed or coughed that hurt. But I found afterwards due to progesterone I was getting PMS symptoms so internally I felt all sorts of things going on and I was too busy trying to figure out whether my period was coming. I'm bloated, bowel movements have no rhyme or reason and for some odd reason my vaginal area feels sore? @MotherOfShihTzus is this normal :-/

I had a similar experience to @Lasagne30. Except I avoid red meat because it's inflammatory and the last thing I want right now. They stopped counting my follicles at 54 and I can't tolerate Fentanyl so I woke up in a lot of pain from EC. I'm on day 3 post EC and think i'm more swollen than before. I hope it goes down soon, it's difficult to sit up or move around.

Hello, thank you for the messages. It looks like we are having a freeze all for a month due to the fact I’m in so much pain 😩

I've had total failed fertilization on my 7 eggs 💔 something about the sperm couldn't bond with the zona of the egg.. infertility is so heartbreaking

Aww no @Cloclo93 was this icsi ? Sending hugs, it's dreadful infertility there needs more research and success it's so unfair

Terribly sorry for not keeping up with messages.

How is everyone doing? What stage are we all at?

I had EC yesterday. 16 collected, 14 mature and 8 fertilised. Am feeling rubbish though! Had some complications after the procedure and have felt very nauseous. Vomited yesterday and this morning! Am not sure if this is the after effects of sedation or something else!
Anyone else had similar?

When I came out of EC I my blood pressure was low and I felt very very sick. It was because of the pain for me because as soon as I had a pain pessary inserted I gradually felt better. Have you taken any pain medication?

Generally after anesthesia I do vomit. Im glad I didn't this time. Are you generally okay otherwise? X

@Sherr33 my BP was low too. I had a diclofenac suppository pre-EC. 1g paracetamol through cannula after EC. Now just paracetamol at home. I'm in a little bit of pain, definitely better than yesterday. Just this nausea and vomiting really bothering me! Not sure if it's the cyclogest pessary.

@Cloclo93 that happened to me too some years ago. I’m really sorry, I know how massively disappointing it feels.

We ended up going down the donor egg route for our ds.

Now on last embryo for a sibling. Four failed transfers. Transfer date provisionally the 12th.

i am scared. Scared it will work. Scared it won’t. Scared I can’t cope with two. Scared about the health of any prospective kiddo. Scared embie won’t survive the thaw. So much fear.

@LIVFingOnAPrayer19 how are you feeling today?

@Btowngirl can I ask after your transfer when did you resume normal everyday things or were you resting? I had my transfer yesterday and I'm scared about how much I can and can't do in terms of house work and working etc and for how long...

@Sherr33 aw so glad you’ve had your transfer! I’m sure it doesn’t feel like it, but it seems to have come around quick. How are you feeling?

It’s stressful isn’t it! Despite the clinic telling me 24 hours rest and then normal activity is fine, I had it on the wed and basically did as little as poss until the sat when we went for a leisurely walk along the seafront. On the sun I just went for a roast and on the Mon I went back to work but I currently have an office job. Tbh even now I’m more cautious about heavy lifting etc, don’t think I’ll feel like all is ok in there until it’s been confirmed by a scan! When have they told you to test?

Did they say to you it was due to bad egg quality? I'm still totally unsure of what actually happened they told me it was very unusual to happen! Should be having a consultation this week to explain more. I'm young and healthy I didn't think bad eggs would be a problem, does a irregular zona mean bad egg quality i just dont know! were you recommended icis for total fertilization failure?
I know this journey is so upsetting and so time consuming its constantly in your head.. but beautiful things can happen too I think it's important to keep the faith, your last little embryo may just be the one 🤞

@Sherr33 in less pain than yesterday and slightly less nausea. But still have really bad heartburn and constipation. Getting through soo much gaviscon!

This is my 3rd ivf, went through a natural one due to very low amh of 0.8 😣
had 2 eggs collected and thankfully both fertilised and transferred on Feb 25th, so 7dpt today and starting from yesterday having so much pms, cramps, backaches.
wanted to check if any of you is experiencing this around this time?

Hi all, just a quick update from my side. EC is on Wednesday, no fresh 3d transfer as high risk of overstimulation syndrome.. Then she said no point in transferring 5d untested and rest to test (if we have a few)...as high chance of abnormalities. So we will test again all if any, that manage till day 5.
They changed the trigger this time, 3 injections 🫣
Am I the last one with EC?

@LIVFingOnAPrayer19 when and how often will your clinic be updating you since your EC and do you have a potential transfer date? I'm bloated and gassy i swear these have been my symptoms since I started!

the PMS is milder today, back at my clinic for progestrone and FBC test, it had dropped a couple of day ago so they added 2 pessaries on top of protogest injection. Nervous to see what my results are today.
how are you? You must be 2dpt, right? I was very bloated then. How many did you transfer?

@Sherr33 Forgot to mention that my test date is this Friday, which day 12. When is yours?

No, 3d and last one 🙈 we didn't have any euploid embryos from last 2 EC, so low chance for this one either, but yeah needed to finish 3, shame no transfer possible though

thats frustrating about the freeze all but you must have a good number of eggs then! I thought we were going to have to do a freeze on all but atm we still seem to be on track for fresh
