Im 33yrs old by the time my eggs are collected I'll be 34 😆
AMH = 17.9 all other parameters fine.
Partners S.A - test 1. Low morphology. test 2. Borderline everything
CARE Fertility add ons to be used - zymot and embryo glue

Starting northisterone on the 24th Jan
15/2 gonal f 225
20/02 Ganirelix joins in
23/02 scan
And potential egg collection 26/02

That's my plan 🙈
And this is our first cycle

@Sherr33 ahhh it's a horrible wait, I find the run up to EC goes so quickly, then time just seems to slow right down until testing time. I was at work yesterday, and I'm back again tomorrow, it's hard to function there but it defo helps to distract. Only 2 more days to go, and I'm hoping with 6 good grade day 2s we may get 3-4 blasts Saturday x

@Sherr33 My hospital does the same - no updates between egg collection and then only they tell how many they biopsied for PGTA 🙁 But then maybe less stress in between as it is out of your control. They even don't tell on day 5, but a few days later when dr has time for a call appointment.. Good luck!! Xx

Argh more good news, 14 of our eggs fertilised. The embryologist did say though that only a couple of those might make it to blastocyst and be good enough quality to freeze. We'll find out on Tuesday how many made it, I'm just hoping we get a couple.

Feeling really sore and bloated today. @Sherr33 not sure what I can recommend before your EC apart from what you're already doing! I would expect to be out of action for at least a couple of days though. Lots of fluids, sensible diet (though I can't say I'm very hungry) and fibre because digestion is definitely moving a bit slower than normal....

@Bnichols89 all great news :) now more waiting :-/

Prune juice is a god send during ivf ladies, and smart water is also good for electrolytes x

Just a rant today I've had to come into office and for some reason I seem to be having a lot more discharge where normally I would have been okay at home ive only managed a loo break and my underwear has become wet due to the liner being so small 🤧 I've been extra emotional today so this hasn't helped.

@Sherr33 if it's quite a watery discharge then I had that too and the ultrasound lady at my scan told me that's a good sign! You can see it on the scan as well 😂

@Sherr33 I had exactly the same thing today! I'm so emotional, tired and uncomfortable too! Not sleeping much last night (was worrying about the Fyremadel injection this morning) hasn't helped either!!

Hi all, hope you’re all doing ok?
I’m on 5dt6dpt and I’m starting to get doubts, haven’t got any symptoms that i know of. I never get symptoms when I’m on my period so maybe I’m just not a symptom kind of person?!

also is anyone injecting Lubion and is it bruising? It seems to be bruising more that all the other injections, tummy is feeling tender and looking bruised!

also doing a Cyclogest pessary morning and night, which is making me very gassy and constipated. Unless they’re actually symptoms?! Who knows!! I need Wednesday to come and go, and even after that it’s still a waiting game I feel. Having experienced a loss I think I would always feel nervous up until the 12 week mark to be honest.

@Eljane34 hey, I'm on lubion, it's because it's oil based, sadly there isn't much you can do to avoid the bruising, but I did find a really good rub after injecting helps to spread the oil out more and helps with the lumps and bumps and pain, but I think this also causes more bruising, so it's swings and roundabouts.... as for the cyclogest, yep the gas and bloat and belly pain is caused by that, that's why I'm in lubion, to avoid the cyclogest- awful things :( but it's all worth it in the end right :) x

I can't sleep and need to be up for another scan in 4 hours. I had 15 good follicles at my last scan and lots of smaller ones. I'm a freeze all for PGT too. I've done 10 Fyremadel now and had some horrible headaches and nausea, I was so poorly in clinic on day 5 scan and thought I need to give up. My estrogen went up so fast I had to go back the next day too.

This morning is day 8 of Gonal F but I'm not to take it till after the scan. They can't do EC till Monday but I might be ready on Sunday so I'm really worried I'll lose them all.

@mt9m hope your scan goes ok today! I'm day 2 of Fyremadel and day 7 gonal F and I'm soo fed up and emotional today. I just want to give up too! This process is soo tough isn't it!
I'm sure you won't lose them all, they should time your trigger so ready for Monday??

@Bnichols89 congrats, 14 is a great number! Fingers crossed for you for more good news on Tuesday.

I am doing my first ever gonal f tonight, a little nervous but very excited to finally be getting started!

@180monkeys hi, looks like we are on similar timeline! I am starting in the evening menopour injections. Then blood test next Wednesday and scan on Friday. Hopefully the EC first week of March

@TT82 oh that’s good to have someone on similar timelines! Is this your first cycle?

I haven’t been booked in for any bloods as far as I know? What is that for please?

I have a scan next Wednesday, scan the Monday after that then potential collection date 6th March

Hi all, following my EC on Wednesday, I have been predominantly on bed rest, the needle must have punctured something as I'm still bleeding but luckily it is getting better each day.

We had 15 eggs fertilized and was told 50% should get to blastocyst if all goes well, super happy, just concerned we may not be able to get to transfer if the bleeding continues.

@Eljane34 - cyclogest is the worst!!!! I have been on them twice a day since yesterday, they are awful. My stomach feels like I've had too much food and haven't been to the loo in days, which is not the case.

Hi everyone I've had my 1st scan today I'm 2 weeks on ivf medication feeling a little disheartening they counted 11 follicles today but last month they counted 18 follicles I'm wondering is my body not agreeing to the medication,has this happened anyone ? To have a drop in follicles numbers month to month, 11 is the lowest I've ever had in my 2 years of ttc

Update from my scan today:

I have 18 good sized follicles and will be contacted by CARE to let me know whether its still EC for Monday or if its been pushed to Tuesday. I was so relieved knowing the medication has been working and my body has done its job very well. Super proud of myself at the moment. My partner was also please and I got treated to a Costa 🙌

My right side has been doing a lot of work which explains why it feels so full on that side. How is everyone else doing?

No way we can do anymore rounds we have thrown 10k into this and have nothing left 😭 and also maxed out my credit card.

No, my third cycle (and last) 🙈 I will be 42 soon, we didn't have any euploid last two cycles plus chemical pregnancies we had (4) last 2 years..means mentally we accepted it. I just needed a third cycle for the closure. I had also a few second opinion with different clinics in spain and Czech Republic..all said the same, one more and stop.
I have very good count, I guess due to PCO or PCOS, which would explain why good quantity but no quality left
But first time I am not anxious anymore.

Blood tests - my hospital doesn't do many scans, so they just check blood in between to see if all progressing. So only next Friday tgey see how many mature and when EC

Don't feel disheartened. 11 is a good number. I've read so many successes of 4-5. I had 15 follicles on day 5 stims and today I have 30 😳 so it can change a lot.

I'm cramping a lot after my scan earlier, does that happen to anyone else?

I've to do two more days of Gonal, so that's 12 injections total as I had 2 a day in the beginning. I've got 3 more Fyremadel injections, already done 10 and I hate it.

I don't understand how I've gone from 15 follicles to 30 in 2 days. I'm so sore and bloated.

Maybe they counted them wrongly, then all started growing and they now see the real number
Oh but that means I might have even more, so no chance they will let me have 3day transfer fresh ☹️ They already counted 37 🫣

@TT82 im sorry to heard about your journey so far, but hopefully this will be your lucky round. When you say you didn’t get any euploid did you find that out through testing? We haven’t been offered any testing. I think because this is our first round and we are young they are sort of like just see how it goes but this is our only NHS round so would like to get everything out of it that we can.

ive heard lots of good things about clinics in the Czech Republic, the cost difference is insane. Are you having this round in the uk?

I’ve never heard of monitoring with bloods, it’s so interesting how they all do it differently.
