Im 33yrs old by the time my eggs are collected I'll be 34 😆
AMH = 17.9 all other parameters fine.
Partners S.A - test 1. Low morphology. test 2. Borderline everything
CARE Fertility add ons to be used - zymot and embryo glue

Starting northisterone on the 24th Jan
15/2 gonal f 225
20/02 Ganirelix joins in
23/02 scan
And potential egg collection 26/02

Hey how are you getting on? How many days post transfer are you now?

I’ve had lots of cramp! Probably from 2-3 days post transfer on and off and then since yesterday I feel like it’s half cramp and half feels tight like I’ve held a pee in too long. Absolutely zero spotting or bleeding though!

I’ve caved and tested. Not even my first pee of the day 🙈

I am feeling hopeful, 7dp5dt and 14 days post trigger. The CB isn’t an early recognition test, I just had it from a previous IUI. The strip test is an early recognition one 🤞🤞 looks like I am testing every day now until Monday!!

I will be starting my injections tomorrow. My periods so heavy at the moment 😩

Is there anything anyone did during the stims process? Working out? Eating certain foods? Not eating certain foods? Time off work? Etc. I think I'm just feeling sick with nerves that its actually come around so fast.

Ah man typical isn’t it. I don’t know how flex your work is? I was exhausted on the stims but preferred to crack on as normal to keep busy, however did do some flexi working to get around the fatigue. I bloated so badly I got a new uniform for work in the size up to feel less uncomfortable 🙈 and couldn’t be bothered for the gym so just tried to listen to my body. Also went down to 1 cup of coffee a day and decaf tea only but I think it’s individual what people are comfortable with. Do you have dates booked in for your scans? It goes so fast this bit, starting the stims is a milestone in itself ❤️

I've just had my first scan (6 days into stims) and I've got 20 follicles growing (9 on one, 11 on the other) and all apparently good sizes. Have now started Ganirelix and will see how it's looking at next scan on Friday.

@Sherr33 I've carried on with swimming and walking which I think has helped me mentally at least. There's definitely some bloating so I've been trying to have less carbs and also not over-drink water as apparently that can make the bloating worse. Mostly just trying to take it day by day and remember it won't last that long!

@Btowngirl congratulations on your good news I'm so happy for you... sorry haven't been on here in a few days but delighted for everyone with all the positive results... little update from me I had my scan this morning and it showed I've 6 follicles but only 2 are growing so really they will only be able to get 2 eggs I'm waiting on a call back to see what the consultant says but it's looking like egg collection on Friday instead of Monday because one follicle is 21mm and the other one is 19mm so hopefully I will know before closing time whats happening

@Eljane34 it looks like me and you is similar just reading thru some of the comments fingers crossed 🤞 all 3 will make it and 1 to stick... wishing everyone success with there egg collection and egg transfers fingers crossed for us all

@Sherr33 just jumping back in this thread! Since my first post a week ago, I have been having my stimming meds and my second scan didn’t show much follicle growth but was prescribed Dexamethasone which helped ramp up the uptake and 3 days later the scan showed a lot of growth. However it is all about quality over quantity so time will tell. Scan tomorrow will tell us if we are ready to trigger in the evening for EC on Saturday.
As for what I have been doing during this phase, normal activities and going to work. I drive so a little easier. Gentle walking, no heavy lifting or bending. Fruit/ veg, and 2-3L water including herbal teas, limited carbs due to the bloating. A bit of chocolate
when I feel like it!
I have felt uncomfortable since Tuesday so decided to work from home until after my EC. Luckily my work is flexible with this.
The injections themselves were not too bad. I had been using an ice pack in the beginning in anticipation of the pain, but now I just go for it without thinking too much.

Amazing congrats on the transfer! How are you feeling? Did you have 1 or 2 transferred?

Honestly I don’t know if this has any impact but I really did chill days 1-3 and ate little and often, still took it easy days 4 and 5 just less so and normal activity from there (not done any exercise though!). Have had a killer headache for 4 days though so drinking plenty to try and combat that. Also I’ve upped my protein intake, I am veggie so it was probably too low to start with tbh!

I had a 5 day fresh transfer Monday 5th, so 9dp5dt. Been getting positive tests, but I am so incredibly anxious as my one step cheapies haven't progressed, and my boots test was significantly lighter today compared to yesterday 😞 i did start to poor the fmu away so there was only a drop in the cup for the boots test - could this be a factor?

I had a clearblue digital 'pregnant' yesterday but so worried it's going in the wrong direction. I had implantation bleeding today (light pink, then light brown, only on wiping). Does it seem quite late for implantation if equivalent to 14dpo?

@MotherOfShihTzus hey! Oh god it’s so stressful isn’t it, are any of your tests the early recognition ones? I would imagine not having enough FMU would contribute as it needs to be saturated/submerged for x amount of seconds usually doesn’t it!

@Btowngirl They're all meant to be 10mins early detection up to 6 days 😩 I have 5 more types of test arriving tomorrow - spent a fortune! Is 14dpo late for implantation? I didn't have a bleed on last pregnancy (also ivf fresh transfer) and tests progressed much better. That was when frer were good though!

@Prabs7 sorry to hear you are feeling uncomfortable! I'm also having egg collection Saturday too!

Clinic just called to say my EC will be Saturday instead of Friday just to give my follicles that extra little push as I'm feeling absolutely fine within myself!

@Btowngirl I had 2 , I'm resting up literally have no plans for the rest of the week, I am fully resting up.
I also don't eat much protein
Trying to eat 3 good meals a day

@Sherr33 I'm very nervous too nervous about the whole thing, all day I'm having low moods, terrible mood swings up and down it's so difficult because I have a 5 year old DD and I feel like I'm snapping at her alot I'm only on fematab atm but due to start injections tomorrow or Friday I'm dreading how they are gonna turn my moods, Sometimes I feel like my partner isn't even supportive the only thing I asked him to do is clear out the fridge so I could put my medication in and he didn't even do that, I don't know I think I'm just having a little melt down

Hi all just got confirmation that my egg collection is Friday so I take cetroide tonight and trigger injection tonight... I feel sick with nerves just praying that the 2 follicles that's growing has 2 good eggs and they will last until day 5

I had my 3rd scan today and egg collection likely to be Monday. Have to stim for 2 more days like last time.

Do you count transfer day as day 1? If so I am day 4 today.
I had light cramping and spotting on days 2 and 3 and now nothing so I'm hopeful that was him burrowing his way into me 🤣
@MotherOfShihTzus But now that Ive just read you think you're having it that late on and have a positive test I'm questioning myself!?
I guess everyone is different.

@camelinastorm Congrats! How did you go? Let me know if you get any spotting early on. I am starting to feel a bit lethargic now which I guess could be a good sign for me, and a bad sign for work lol

Congrates on the positives :) great to see some good news already. Everything seems really fast paced in this thread, maybe because I'm a late joiner and missed the slow start haha.

Well second scan today, 23 follicles, better sizes today, so started cetrotide this morning, forgot how itchy it was! Little tip incase it helps anyone out- take it out the fridge just before injecting and use it at room temperature, I couldn't this morning as I was late doing it due to scanning first, but it helps take the itch and sting out.
