@MoonlightDreamer ahhhh it’s so exciting I will be 13 on mine I’ve got another 2 weeks to wait ! My boobs have stopped the sicknesss and tiredness have passed and yday I just had lower pulling and pain all day off and on I’m worried sick … but I can’t keep going the hospital if I’m worried 😦 I’m sure everything will be ok .. I’ve been so bad with going the toilet then yday had the total opposite it’s just all a worry isn’t it ! They don’t warn you about this part x

My sickness stopped just before Christmas (which was a nice thing initially) then I panicked. My boobs are still sore, nothing like they were mind, but I've still got the tiredness. I'm still not feeling great after a bad cold that keeps coming back though 🙄 so not sure if that's making me feel so tired too!
I've had a nap most days, I'm back at work tomorrow after 2 weeks off and dreading it 🙈😂

I cannot wait for my 12 week scan just to make sure they are ok 🤞🏻 it's a week on Tuesday and I'll be 12+6.

I've had pains and twinges in my groin area, and then the occasional sharp feeling pain down there if that makes sense, without too much detail 😂😂

Are you girls going to find out what you're having?

@User491 im sure everything will be fine .. ahhh little Twinnies it’s so exciting for you isn’t it .. yeah yday was constantly pain down there in lower belly and a heavy feeling but today has eased off along with everything else no longer hurts to sit on a chair which after 11 weeks of constant pain I can’t say I’m not glad …
not sure I want too but my OH is old school and thinks it should be a surprise what about you ?

@Millie89xx thank you I really hope so 🤞🏻 was contemplating a private scan, but then decided against it ha!
Ohh I knows it just doesn't feel real, like I don't exactly feel pregnant and that is a worry, but I suppose it's still early on. I can't wait until we can all feel them moving 🥰

I get moments on and off but I've woke today ok. I don't blame you that you feel relived to not have the same discomfort, hopefully it lasts this way 🤞🏻

I am in 2 minds, I'm really impatient and want to know in one respect; but everyone says how lovely a surprise is 😂 I'm going to try and not find out haha. My husband is of the same opinion as me. But we laughed and said it's that moment when they ask.. would you like to know? And we may cave 😂
I also really want a 4d scan at some point and worried we can see everything 😂

@User491 I had a private one last Tuesday my mum really wanted to see the baby so I took her .. best 50.00 I’ve ever spent if I wouldn’t look like a crazy woman I would pay for one every week but that’s not normal .. I’m 2 weeks off my next scan yet and that’s worrying me sick but I have to hold out! Have you had lower abdomen pains ? I’m pretty sure if we’re all experiencing the same we should be ok! Just praying everyday that everything is how it should be
has anyone got a bump yet ? Or popped out I haven’t and I’m like should I?

@Millie89xx if it puts your mind at ease I don't blame you, our private ones are £75 plus 20% for multiples, they money side doesn't actually bother me, I was just a bit sat on the fence of what will be will be and actually wanted to stay in the place of as far as I'm aware I'm pregnant.. especially to try and enjoy my 2 weeks off work. Now the scans just over a week away I may as well hold it out ha! We had a private one on 21st December and everything was fine then so 🤞🏻

Yeh I've had the odd twinges/stretching feelings then some sharp but not too bad twinges down inside. I don't have a bump at all but I am a bit bloated.. probably all the food 🐷😂 I laid down yesterday and had a gentle feel and can feel where they must be but it was so small and I was like is that it 😂😂 I was googling about it all like when it moves up and it says after the 12 week mark.

@User491 scan went fine thanks.
Couldn't get a clear image of baby at all . Don't know if it's just the nhs imagery quality or what. They didn't even give us a photo of baba 😔
It didn't help that he/she was lying in an awkward position, head first curled up.
I might book a private scan for 16 weeks just for my own sanity. I really want to be able to see babys little formed body now.
We got to hear the heartbeat tho which was amazing.
Baby was kicking away but is now measuring several days behind but consultant didn't seem worried at all.

Ahh so lovely you got to hear the heartbeat 🥰 I really hope I get to too ☺️ I'm praying everything is all ok. I can't shake the worry though, I just don't feel pregnant. My boobs are still a bit sore and I am tired, but other than that I just expected to feel a whole lot more! I now keep feeling just above my pelvis trying to find where they are. I feel like I can feel something, but I have no idea if it is right or not 😂

I'm defo going to book one for 16 weeks too, more just to put my mind at ease.

I was still behind at my private 9 week one, the main thing is that they aren't concerned, so I'm sure everything will be ok 🥰

@User491 I honestly can't feel anything either and I've had zero pregnancy symptoms this entire time. The only thing I'm starting to experience is constant headaches. Midwife did tell me that headaches are really common in pregnancy. I've had 3 headaches this week already and they just linger on the entire day.
It's so hard to believe there's another life growing inside you when you just feel normal. I get constantly anxious due to my lack of symptoms that something must have happened baby. I also constantly look at previous scan photos for reassurance cause I sometimes think I've imagined it all.
It will feel alot more real tho once you get your notes.
It feels so weird for me to be even talking about a baby in there because we've been together 20 years now and it's just always been us this entire time.
To be honest I don't think they did any checks. I had read they usually measure the fluid between baby's head and body at first scan but they never did that. She only tried to take an overall measurement to date me.
I also haven't been offered the NIPT screening test I don't know anyone who hasn't been offered that. My next appointment is at 16 weeks and the NIPT is offered until 14 weeks so I'm assuming that's not going to be offered to me now either. My trust setup seems a bit of a mess. They lost my referral and I had to chase it up . Nobody seems to have a clue there about anything. Even the consultant didn't know how to organise my big anomaly scan 🤔
Apparently I'll get it at 19 weeks which kinda feels like an eternity. I keep feeling like time is moving so slowly now that I'm pregnant

@MoonlightDreamer I'm sorry your scan experience wasn't the best! My midwife at my booking appointment asked me if I wanted the nuchal screening because they allocate a longer appointment if you do, so I'm surprised you weren't offered it at any point? They couldn't get the measurements at my appointment either as baby was an awkward little bear and wouldn't move into the right place. They won't do a repeat scan (which some places offer) but they did offer a blood test at 15/16 weeks to test for down syndrome and said that if that scores high, and the 20 week scan shows a concern, they'll offer the NIPT. Otherwise I have to pay privately which I'm not going to do.

I've been told the "system" will arrange my 20 week scan but to chase if I've not heard by 19 weeks.

I didn't get to hear the heartbeat at the scan but I also had a sonographer not a consultant. Can you contact your midwife and ask what's going on and why weren't baby's measurements taken etc?

I would definitely book yourself a private scan to get that picture, it sounds like it'll be good for you 😊

@MoonIightDreamer you would think lack of or mild symptoms would be a blessing, but it does make you worry so much!

I'm the same, my and my husband have been together 19 years, going to be so weird having little babies to think about before anything!
If it's something you want; I would 100% contact your midwife and they may squeeze you in for another scan. It's so wrong isn't it though, especially when we are new to it, I had my booking app and they asked me about the testing, so I assume it will get done next week. I know to raise the questions next week though if I'm unsure.
I'm counting down the days to my scan now... fingers crossed everything will be fine 🤞🏻

@IVFKinster so pleased baby was ok with your scan, shame they won't repeat the scans though, I would assume that they have to. At least they will follow it up at a later date though.

@User491 I think they just don't have capacity to offer repeat scans right now? I think it's normal to be offered another chance in most places. I won't get the Edwards or the other one screened for unless I have the NIPT but I know they're rare so I'm just trying not to worry about it. I still feel nervous everyday and worry everyday because I just can't believe it but I'm trying to stay positive. I've got my 16 week midwife appointment in two weeks so looking forward to that? My midwife is luckily really lovely although only works one/two days a week. I think second trimester energy is a lie 😂

When is your scan? I had to go for three wees during mine because baby wasn't facing the right way and my bladder was too full!

I’ve finally hit 12 weeks have my scan next Tuesday. Apart from waves of sickness and tiredness I feel strangely ok ?? Anyone else’s symptoms legged it ??? 👀 which is a worry !

I had my scan last week.
Thankfully baby was doing fine , kicking away but was lying in an awkward position head first and consultant found it difficult to measure the little one. She kept coming up with different measurements so I've no idea what was actually accurate but baby is potentially measuring 3-5 days behind. I've been booked in my for big scan at 19 weeks so hopefully baby's growth catches up. Its so hard not to stress about it.
I'm 14 weeks tomorrow which is crazy. I really never thought I'd reach this far

@IVFKinster I definitely agree with you regarding the second trimester energy. I feel just as exhausted as first.
I really don't know how some women manage to be hitting the gym several days a week while pregnant

@MoonlightDreamer ahh that’s fantastic ! I have still been going swimming every morning before work at 6 am ! I don’t know how but I’ve been doing it it somehow gives me energy if that makes sense ha ha ! Argh I had an internal last week to check ovarys and the baby’s head was down so measured slightly behind but I don’t think it makes a difference at this point … have ur symptoms stopped ? My boobs haven’t been sore for couple weeks now just full and big x

@IVFKinster I had my scan yesterday, was 12+6. Both babies are fine 🥰 it was so incredible to see ❤️
They've caught up too which is good as they had been behind on all my other scans (not sure how relevant it is) but they've moved my EDD forward 22/7/24 now.

I was actually in the same boat as you, they couldn't do the measurements as they were in awkward positions/kept moving! They said they won't offer any more scans, but like yourself I can get the bloods done at 16 weeks I'm actually in 2 minds about it all now.. I kind of just think if I wasn't meant to find out then maybe that's for the best?!
Your midwife app will be next week now? ☺️

I've got all my dates now on my app, there's a lot more than I imagined. From 20 weeks I will get scans every 4 weeks, and I also have my own midwife I see, and a midwife at the hospital which I will also see every 4 weeks too, that's from 16 weeks. Think with all these appointments it will fly in 😂
I've been put on aspirin from yesterday, and I think she said from 24 weeks I will need anti-coagulation injections, but they will discuss that at further appointments. I'm higher risk of preeclampsia with it being IVF and twins.

@Millie89xx not long to wait, the last week waiting for mine flew in!! It was worth the wait 🥰 my symptoms have eased off but didn't really have them that strong anyways, my boobs aren't as sore etc now, but feeling very bloated today, not sure if it's something I have eaten tho 😂 I do still have the tiredness though.

@MoonIightDreamer try not to worry, it's maybe just the way they were laying, ours was the same it took ages for them to get the length, then they managed that but then not able to get the NT measurements!
It's amazing isn't it. Just doesn't feel real at all. I'm going to book a private one around 16 weeks I think.
I feel even more tired today, I think it was from me getting myself all worked up for yesterday tbh!
I've been going to the gym 4 times a week at 6am, weirdly enough though, those days I find I'm not as tired through the day.. god knows why 😂

@Millie89xx bless you, try not to worry yourself too much! I was a bit the same, but they kept trying to remind myself that everything else has been fine up to now, I have no warning signs of anything being wrong - then I was thinking.. so why am I actually worrying myself? It's so hard not too, it's totally normal, especially after we have all been through IVF it's even worse! Next week will fly in 🥰
I carry a bit of weight on my stomach tbh; so I wouldn't say a bump as such, just feel really bloated 😂 and I am aware of it when picking things up etc, more through the day/later in a night. And more of a heavy feeling even though my weight has stayed the same 😂

@LiIacMoon hi , I’m good thanks how about you ? Found out on Wednesday we’re having a little boy 😭💙🫶🏽 over the moon .. starting to get a little pop now ! And still absolutely shattered but apart from that I can’t complain how u doing

I'm gutted I don't have a bump yet.. everything's starting to get hard, and the midwife last week was saying offt your gonna have a lovely big bump as my uterus is right up at my belly button, but I think as I carry a bit of weight it's hidden 😂
I have noticed picking things up harder 😂

@User491 awww really how far along are you ? Yeah I had a feeling from day 1 it was a boy so I am over the moon 💙🤰🏽🫶🏽 I’m still swimming everyday don’t no how but carrying on for as long as I can as it should help my labour

@Millie89xx I'll be 18 weeks on Monday! Totally flew in, how far along are you? I was told i will get a section or be induced at 37 weeks, so next Friday is pretty much half way 😱

Ahh so lovely 💙 I'm so convinced we have one of each, but we aren't going to find out 😬 I'm 99% one of them is a girl from nub theory though ha, the other one wasn't as visible.

That's great, I'm still going to the gym 4 times a week and trying to get my steps in each day. I'm the same as you, the longer I can keep going the better.. for labour and recovery. It's also a bit your own time too isn't it 🥰

Have You had any cravings? I'm loving coco pops at the minute and chocolate digestives dipped in my cup of tea 🙈 trust me for it to be something unhealthy 😂
