I'd agree with Meliss in terms of HCG and OHSS and potentially being a good sign. Fingers crossed @Millie89xx I hope you manage to relax a little and get some pain relief.

I've been in a bit of a daze these last few days.
I've been having quite a bit of right sided pain and this coupled with a complete lack of symptoms has me paranoid.
My EPU is not self referral and requires a referral from a GP. I've some chance of that. I'm just trying to get through the days until my scan on 30th. Just can't help but feel really negative. My bloating has also really gone down. I'm still testing positive but I suppose that dosent always mean anything as I know hcg can linger. I haven't had any further bleeding tho thankfully.
I feel like I can't speak with OH about it as my negativity is really getting to him and he's said hes stressed out . He wants me to just be postive until we're told otherwise but it's so hard to do.
I should be 6 weeks tomorrow.
Have you had many symptoms?
The only thing I've experienced is tiredness. I can't tell if it's a pregnancy related or just because I've been extra lazy lately .
I truly was disillusioned about pregnancy. I thought I'd feel elated to be walking around a pregnant lady but ever since that BFP I'm just feel utterly rubbish. Paranoia and anxiety are getting the better of me , I know that. OH thinks I should speak to someone about it.
I still keep taking tests every day because every morning I wake up I need that confirmation that I really got a BFP and it's not all in my head 😄

Hope your feeling better soon @Millie89xx my pain after retrieval was horrendous. I was on bed rest for about a week. I couldn't even get up / turn in bed without help. The pain in the stomach after urinating too was unbearable. Have you contacted your clinic? I felt like I'd been in a car crash. I think mine said it was likely because my ovaries were a bit swollen. My retrieval was end of October and I've only started to feel normal over the past few days.

the nurse rang me back about bloods said the doctor has gone home so can’t read me my blood results BUT she can tell me they could have been worse ??? What the hell is that meant to mean .. she also said that she can’t see it being OHSS but still wouldn’t tell me what it was ??? I don’t get it ?

What an annoying call @Millie89xx. I really hope the morning brings you progress and that this is a sign that your HCG levels are rising!

@MoonlightDreamer I’d agree with you but this only started yesterday started with really bad bloating and now pain down side in my chest when I breathe in. They done internal today and my ovary’s are still very very enlarged and one has fluid round it but they’re not convinced it’s ohss but can’t tell me what it is ??? Don’t know how I’m meant to sleep tonight

You can feel free to PM me @MoonlightDreamer if you'd like someone to talk to/stress at over the next couple of weeks. Obviously no pressure to but there if needed. It's so hard when partners have a different mental approach to things and you have to hold every in. When we're in that hormonal panic despair stage it's easy to rationalise all the things as negative. From an outside perspective, your bloating was always going to come down after the initial increase in hormones from stims and egg collection and if you're only just starting to feel normal in regards to that then that'll explain the decrease in bloating 😊 I also thought I'd be happy but I'm the most anxious person I've ever been and started having panic attacks and nightmares etc. after the bfp, so I get it absolutely. My husband is a bit more "positive until proven otherwise". I have had quite a few symptoms but I'm super sensitive to hormonal changes! And likely in part due to all the oestrogen and progesterone I'm still taking. The odds are in your favour more than they are against you.

@Hopingforno2in2023 how are you feeling ? Thanks 🙏 I don’t know I haven’t heard this before only when @Melisss mentioned it then .. however the nurse did say it can make ohss symptoms worse if you are pregnant ! But right now I can’t see past anything

@Hopingforno2in2023 have you had any spotting yet ? Think I’m the only one who hasn’t had it ….

I haven’t had it either @Millie89xx! I feel physically well just v nervous for Saturday.

Morning all, just checking in, unfortunately I got 3 BFN’s this morning which was nothing short of heartbreaking 💔 weirdly, as I’ve never been pregnant before, I just knew that would be the result. Albeit I know we would have been very lucky for it to work first time but you still have hope regardless.

Wishing all who are in the TWW the best of luck and hope you’re looking after yourselves. It’s been one of the hardest experiences of my life so I empathise with you all. Best of luck xx

@Rosesinbloom19 so sorry to hear your news! It's so hard. Hope you are taking care of yourserlf as best as you can at the moment.

I caved this morning and did a test and it was negative. 😭 I just know my period is starting and don't think anything is going to change until friday. It's weird cause I actually feel relieved that I know now. Maybe it's going to hit me later.

@Hopingforno2in2023 slightly better , they have called this morning there confident it’s not OHsS but they are swaying to an infection I have to go back tommoro morning for a re do of bloods just feel like all this has effected it

@Melisss ohhhhh I am sorry are you still going to test Friday ? I have a feeling mine will be the same with all going on with me now

@Millie89xx yes, probably and then have to call the hospital to let them know.
Dont loose hope yet until you actually test but I understand you are worried.

I am just angry and sad. It is all so unfair and the fact that you don t get more than one round on the NHS. If the first one is trial and error what is even the point in having that one free and nothing after.
My partner has been very supportive and I am very grateful but I know it`s hard for him as well and he is just beeing positive for me. I just feel it is all my fault somehow. I think we are going to take a small break and regroup next year at some point and maybe try IVF again.

@Melisss oh I am sorry !!! This is the shitty part isn’t it … please try and be kind to yourself your body has been through a lot and it’s certainly nothing you have done or could have done !!! Take some time and go again when you’re ready . You still have 3 days to go for it to change that’s a long time

yes @MoonlightDreamer today was OTD and now can definitely feel AF is on it's way! will get bloods done tomorrow just to confirm I think although can see it far enough! completely understand where you are at @Melisss - it's so cruel and brutal of a process, hope you're looking after yourself too. I just went and got a Starbucks in a Xmas cup lol small wins today! x

@MoonIightDreamer sorry you are having a rough time of it too, if you tests are still positive, hopefully things are moving in the right direction for you. The tiredness sounds very much a symptom though, I've just only started to feel exhausted yesterday and today. I am with you on the fact we should be so happy, but the anxiety is awful! As @IVFKinster said, you can feel free to PM me too if you need to chat 🥰
Chances are with being so poorly after the collection etc you are just feeling more normal now and nothing to worry about 🤞🏻
