@User491 I'm feeling ok, the nausea seems to be ramping up a little and the tiredness. My body just feels fatigued. Even doing something simple. I'm so glad for it though! Still feel quite anxious so just took the weekend to relax and see family.

How are you feeling?

I feel like I reached my emotional breaking point in the tww way earlier than you guys and feel like I handled it terrible in comparison, you're all managing so well honestly! It's an awful process to have to go through but you're all nearly there now.

@Millie89xx I'm sorry you're struggling. I think bloating and back pains etc. are all normal but they're horrible to have to deal with on top of the anxiety of the waiting. Are you able to take the day to look after yourself?

@IVFKinster no I’m in work which doesn’t help .. I’ve rang the nurses line and they’re calling me back I just don’t feel right if u get me the pains in my stomach are not like an ache it just feels sore and stretchy ! I’ve not stopped crying just got myself into a right mess

I think you should take the day off from work @Millie89xx can you tell them you're sick and have stomach pains? Sore and stretchy isn't unusual in my opinion but hopefully the nurses will call you back and put your mind at ease. It's so hard to know isn't it? IVF makes us SO aware of what's going on in our bodies that we become hyper vigilant. Are you worried the pains mean something negative or something worse?

@IVFKinster something worse I just feel rotten 😭 and it doesn’t help that I’m worried sick ! I hope I’m worrying over nothing

@Millie89xx I agree with @IVFKinster. Maybe you should just take the day off. It does sound like you are not very well. Hope the nurses can help you and it`s nothing serious. This stress is insane.

@Millie89xx you are more than likely absolutely fine. Try to take calming breaths if you can. I can't think of anything sinister that would be causing you pain at this point if it's related to the transfer. It's hard not to worry. Let us know what the nurses say and try to look after yourself.

Hugs @Millie89xx. I had a massive panic attack while on stims and thought I was dying. Panic definitely makes everything worse so I really would consider going home and trying to relax.

@IVFKinster i went in and they checked me over done bloods for OHsS they think that’s what it is internally scanned me said ovary’s look enlarged and some fluid about they are ringing me later with blood results.

@Millie89xx It's good they've checked you over and given you a potential cause. Well done getting some support! OHSS can get worse if you're pregnant so it's good they're aware now. Did they give you any advice on what to do to help? Lots of water, protein and lucozade sports etc? (Idk what they actually suggest if you HAVE OHSS, rather than if you're trying to prevent it).

@IVFKinster no they are going to ring me later with the blood test results so I presume they will tell me then what to do .. I don’t even no what they do if you have it ? I drink so much water now but maybe I need lucoxade xx

I think it depends how severe you have it. You can have it mildly or up to severely. Mildly you'd probably have some pain but no difficulty drinking, breathing or urinating (including pain when you do).

As an example, post egg collection I was severely bloated, couldn't move without being in pain, was falling asleep after every ten minutes activity but because I wasn't struggling to breathe or wee they said it was fine and would resolve itself. I literally did nothing for two weeks as I couldn't and then it resolved with my period. I thought I was dying but my clinic weren't that bothered! They just told me to rest, drink lots. I found actual real full sugar lucozade the most helpful but electrolyte drinks are usually recommended.

Do you feel a bit less panicked now @Millie89xx ? The main thing is they've shown good care scanning you, and they've got a duty of care to guide you through what to do so you're in good hands!

@IVFKinster I’ll get some of that tonight ! I do feel slightly better just hate the pain 😭 I feel like the only relief I get is lying on my back I can’t sleep on either side cos of the pain was you like that ?

@Millie89xx hopefully they let you know if you can take some paracetamol to help ease the pain! Oh gosh yeah I couldn't sleep on either side but also on my back I got terrible indigestion from all the gas and bloating. I couldn't roll from one side to the other either I had to sit up and turn. The fluid that builds up with OHSS can cause so much irritation and can settle where it shouldn't.

@IVFKinster just hope this doesn’t have any effect on my little embryo 😭

@Melisss neither did I ! Literally all started with horrendous bloating yday then just progressed worse with pain ! Just hope this has no effect on the embryo xx

I am also starting to freak out today. I think I can see some brown spotting starting which I always get before my period 😥My period was due on Saturday so maybe it was just delayed by the pessaries. My boobs I feel like they are going down and don`t feel sore anymore.
I am starting to feel the urge to go out and buy a test but I am so scared to test at the same time. Still 4 days to go until OTD.
Barely focused at work today, think I zoned out in most of the meetings.

Hopefully not long to wait before they call you back with some guidance if they haven't already @Millie89xx try to relax!

@Melisss I think it's really common to have brown spotting and to feel like your period is coming. Fingers crossed it's just the tww messing with you and doesn't progress to anything else🤞

@Millie89xx I guess it would be but because this normally happens to me 1-2 days before my period I don't know what to think. I hasn't actually started but I feel like it will happen.
Did they come back to you with the results?

@Melisss no nothing I’ve done nothing but cry today because I’ve told myself it’s effected the embryo going in 😭

@Millie89xx i don't think it had an impact. I don't want to talk bollocks but I read that an increase in HCG would cause a flare up. Could this be a good sign? 🤷🏻‍♀️
