Just thought I’d see if there are any others out there needing a bit of mutual support. Started ovaleap last night ✨ 💉

@BlueMumma2018 o that makes sense, you want to be calm as much as possible then!
I am ok, hospital sent me schedule for the next cycle - only in November! Yeah definitely should have testing results by then.. not so much back-to-back 🙈

TT82 · 01/09/2023 16:11

@Caubabatko how are you doing? Any news from your clinic? 🙏 xx

Caubabatko · 01/09/2023 16:42

@TT82 Yep, we got an update on the PGT-A: 1 euploid, 3 abnormal. The 3 aneuploids can't be transferred but we've asked them to not discard them yet.
I have a mixed feeling, waiting to talk to the doctor next week.
Now I have 1 euploid from the previous cycle, 1 new euploid and 1 untested (but drawing insights from the latest results, is probably aneuploid)
Dr said a euploid embryo has a 50% chance of becoming a baby but considering both of ours are Day 6 euploids from a 43-year-old egg, I'm not so certain!

@BlueMumma2018 Well done to your 4 embryos - I've read that in early 30's, 3 out of 4 are chromosomally normal so you stand a good chance! I was considering to add quercetin to my supplement regiment and came across this article on Wiley about its benefit on PCOS - thought it might be of interest to you

@Caubabatko sorry to hear the news are not what you were hoping for.. but what I read, having 2 euploid ones is amazing on this stage!! Also they are day 6, so much stronger than natural just fertilised or day 3.. Stay positive, it is extremely good outcome at our age!! ❤️ I will be over the moon if 1 out of mine 4 is good... But yeah maybe I am saying it now but then later will be in tears when get the results
Can they do double transfer so you still have plenty of time if my EC needed? In my case it is forbidden unfortunately, cannot have multiples..
i will be hoping for a positive outcome whatever your decision is! And hopefully soon we will move witj you in a different group here, for pregnant after 40 🥰

TT82 · 01/09/2023 17:03

@Caubabatko sorry typo, not "my EC" but "more EC" 🤦🏻‍♀️

Caubabatko · 01/09/2023 17:29

@TT82 Thank you for the support! It means a lot❤We've decided we will only transfer one at a time based on scientific articles like this one - it's too risky in terms of multiples and also if there is any implantation issues on the maternal side I'd lose two at once😱I'm really hoping to be pregnant before 2024, but with PGT-A it's once every 2 months!

Patients of advanced maternal age should only transfer a single euploid blastocyst

@Caubabatko oh fully understand the risk of multiples 😔 Mine both were 32w kids, all good and they are healthy and big/tall, nobody guess they were premmies, but it was hard and stressful. I have this heart shape uterus or whatever reason, they don't know, but I just cannot carry big babies and after 22weeks my cervix shortens and body says nope too heavy 🤦🏻‍♀️
Even if I would love to have twins a lot 🥰

So one at a time is a good safe strategy, especially they are tested! Don't put additional pressure on yourself with deadlines... time doesn't matter, what matters- it happens!
I was putting them too: before I turn 40 month, then ok - at 40, then before 2023.. Now - no deadlines 🙈

Hope you have a good discussion with your dr and it will be easier to decide what's next xx

Hi all, got bad news re my 4 embryos- all have different trisomy abnormalities 😔 We will do next EC cycle end of November but how do you decide when to stop? I am 41... If all 4 are abnormal, what is a chance we get a good one, probably even lower than general statistics for my age..
