Wow, how exciting. Only a couple of more days to wait. Got everything crossed things go well for you!

I’m currently on day 9 of stims. Went for a day 5 scan and they’ve put my meds up as things were starting but they wanted to give my ovaries a boost. Have another scan on Monday and if that looks more promising then hoping for EC on either next Wednesday or Friday!

This is my first cycle and have had 4 early losses in a year and a half with natural pregnancies so feeling very anxious about it all.

How are you doing and feeling about everything?

sorry to hear about the losses. Is there an underlying reason do you know?

I have pcos. I’ve had three mmmcs over ten years but have also had one successful ivf that resulted in my little girl 3 years ago. Now trying the only embryo in the freezer🤞

@greentin I went for private testing and they’ve identified that my NK cells go a bit mad when I’m pregnant so I’m going to be on steroids from embryo transfer. I’ve also got low progesterone so going to be on pessaries and lubion. Definitely having my share of medication!

I’m sorry to hear of your losses too. It’s so awful! Lovely that you’ve got your daughter and fingers crossed that this will be equally successful!

dear am also going to start my journey please guide for your injections and medicine please share your experience. My husband had low morphology that’s why doctor asked me to do ICSI. Please guide

Mind if I join? Just had frozen embryo transfer (5 day blast) on Friday (June 2nd). So 3 days post 5dt. Last cycle was fresh, this is the first frozen. Excellent grade embryo (4aa), great endometrial thickness, just really hoping this one sticks.

Lots riding on it as I recently found out I have the BRCA1 gene so have been advised to have ovaries/tubes and preferably also uterus removed by 42 at the latest (should've been done at 35 apparently :( :( ). If this or the two remaining frozen don't work out, that will probably be it for me :(
(And if I get pregnant, the advice is full hysterectomy with tubes/ovaries out, 3 months post birth....and thus instant menopause with a young infant, yikes).

Mildly crampy today, no other symptoms other than lots of emotions but suspect those are just to be expected given stressors rather than hormonal.

Have a bit of a wait before there's any point testing as I'm on hcg injection luteal support. So have to wait until the 16th apparently, argh.

@JLB234 Oh that’s good that you know about the NK cells but not great about the extra meds. Even though I’m on FET I’ve had to take about 4 injections so far… and expecting to be on lubion too. Not fun! But good to have some control over all this…

egg collection done ✅ wasn’t to bad . Home resting as a bit groggy. 9 eggs collected , 6 mature . 2 may catch up and 1 no good. Not sure what’s normal ! Or average ! Good luck to you all xx

@greentin glad to hear that you’re home. I’m sending lots of good thoughts and hopes that embaby will stick! How are you feeling?

They’re happy with the numbers and there’s been definite growth. Smallest was 8 and biggest 10 last Wednesday and today, smallest was 12, biggest 16 and there seemed to be at least 5 more there. They want to do another scan on Wednesday and then hopefully egg collection on Friday. Consultant said everything looked fine though so fingers crossed!

Everything will be okay best of luck . I am also going through same . Starting medication

@BLM18 glad to hear you’re feeling ok! Sounds like collection was positive too. Hopefully you’ll have some good news soon 🤞. I know what you mean about the bloating. I keep on talking about my boulder belly…it’s absolutely huge at the moment!

I'm 41 in novemeber. Had a merina implant for approx 15 years. When it was taken out I fell pregnant naturally on 2nd attempt. Unfortunately missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. Trying IVF it's taken 9 cycles to get the lining 8mm but we did 3 frozen transfers at 6mm or just under with no success. Last attempt was 8mm lining and tested embryo and negative result. Bloods for recurrent miscarriage also negative. Preparing for cycle 10 with a tested embryo. Anyone else similar situation?

@124n 8 eggs in end were mature . 5 have fertilized, other 3 no good . Will see what happens tomorrow as they said that’s the key day

@BLM18 fingers crossed for the five!! In my one successful cycle I think that’s where I was and ended up with one blastocyst but it’s the one that stuck!

@JLB234 hope today is ok for you. It’s by this point that the ovaries start feeling quite full right

I was doing fine but got a call from the nurses that progesterone is low and to start lubion twice a day. I found it quite difficult to inject and it’s made my tummy sore.. so much for FET being easier..
