Hi, I don't think there's a thread for May, not that I could find anyway.

I've just started Norethisterone to bring on AF ready for my FET. I had my ICSI cycle in Feb but was high risk for OHSS, so after retrieving 24 eggs, this clinic decided to freeze all.
Luckily, because I ended up very unwell with OHSS for around 6 weeks and ended up in hospital for a little while!

But I've recovered and soooo ready for my embabies! We're aiming for transfer week commencing 22nd May unless AF comes earlier than planned then it might be the week before. It's likely as I'm on CD46 with all the signs of imminent AF 🤞🏼

Had my fresh transfer yesterday 😊 and 4 more blasts have been frozen which we are incredibly grateful for. OTD is 11th June - doubt I'll be able to wait until then though 😂

@FrostedFlake very annoying if they don't allow day 3 transfers just for their clinic statistics, must be so frustrating! Hoping your 2 embryos keep growing for you over the next few days🤞❤️

Just wondering has anybody had bad side effects from the cyclogest pessaries? I have severe heartburn and indigestion - so severe that it made me sick this morning and I have barely moved all day. Called the nurse and they weren't too concerned and just told me to keep an eye on it but it's awful 🙈

Can I join? I can't find a grad group yet and am also not confident enough to start my own! Positive yesterday (6dp5dt FET) and today. Hopefully things continue positively, I'm very anxious.

Hello everyone! Today I am 1 day post transfer and I am getting a bit crazy. I have no symptoms at all, maybe slight cramping, so now I am worrying that it did not work out.. I really have to try stay positive

We are litterally the same! Transfer yesterday and pregnancy test on the 11th ( fresh cycle). This morning I took a test to see if the trigger shot is still there and it is!! Very faint line.. hoping for the best :)
regarding the cyclogest… oh gosh… they make me feel so drowsy..

@Caubabatko I'll definitely look into the supplements you recommended. No harm in adding 2/3 more to what I already take🤣

How long have u been taking your supplements? I've been taking mine since November 2022. I have noticed an increase in my follicle numbers but I seem to be retrieving maybe only 1 more egg than before the supplements. Have you noticed much improvement in your results

Hi @MaybeBabyTwo and congratulations on your positive 🥰 I totally get your anxiety - it's so hard when going through IVF to not get anxious!

@Marisadea eeek exciting 😁 I've also been testing out my trigger shot and it's still there slightly too. I've been super tired too, although that might also just be from the stress 😂
And don't worry about your lack of symptoms, it's still early and is normal to not feel much of anything 😊 hoping for a positive for us both!

@Sapphire91 my OtD is 11th too! 🤞🤞🤞I think I will probably try and hold out until the 9th.
I hadn't had any bad symptoms then suddenly today I have felt exhausted and then had stabbing stomach ache after eating which I assume is bed indigestion! So I am with you!

@FrostedFlake that's crazy they won't transfer on day 3! It's so frustrating when you have to fight for something that is your money and your body, as if ivf isn't hard enough. I really hope the embryos hang on for you for day 5. 🤞

Hi all, been keeping an eye daily on updates. Back from Czech Republic nearly 2 weeks.
Congrats to people who have had positive tests. Good luck to those awaiting transfers. ❤️
I had my day 12 post transfer beta hcg back, 380. Relieved to be through this hurdle but so anxious about miscarriage due to one last year. Presume these are normal levels. Seems so varied.
Super paranoid re any twinges and cramps.
Taking aspirin, prednisilone and enoxoporin injections daily. As well as Estrofem and progesterone. Stomach like a bruised peach!
This group has been a big support so thanks to everyone and good luck to everyone on this journey. Looking forward to seeing everyone else's updates X

Good morning everyone! A little update from me! Yesterday I felt very tired (can be progesterone) and light cramps all day. This morning I wake up, I go to the toilet and I see a light pinky spot.. I took it as a good sign of implantation. Today I am 3dp5dpt ♥️

Nice one! Sounds promising @Marisadea 👍🏼how is the TWW going for to? I am 5DP5DT today and it has been tough going. Trying to keep busy! I’m trying to resist testing early as I don’t want unnecessary early disappointment if I can help it. I think I can feel my uterus doing something, I just wish I knew what!

I know.. the TWW is horrible! Is going ok.. but I know deep inside I won’t wait until next Saturday for the test, I think I will start testing from next Tuesday when I will be 6dp5dt

We've just had an update on day 3. 1 looking really good, doing everything it should. 3 looking average. 2 not really doing much. I think at this point last time we just had 3 average and the others not doing much so think things are looking much the same. Keeping all fingers crossed we have 1 for transfer on Mon. Thinking of you @FrostedFlake x

I spoke to the embryologist and the doctor on Thursday about a 3 day transfer and they were really negative about it and I’m the end said they are not open on Saturday (WTF) and could do a day 2 instead. To be honest I have accepted the worst and will be having an honest and difficult conversation with them on how everything has been handled. We got 5 mature eggs out of 17 follicles at the baseline scan. Last time we got 12 from 14 but decided to move clinics as this one offered AOA whilst the last one didn’t.

haven’t received the call yet but feel so nauseous about it and just want to know.

Yes I'm feeling okay about it. Our daughter came from a very slow grower last time, which helps with the reassurance although I'm conscious of being older this time round.

I am sorry @FrostedFlake, it sounds like they've not handled things well. I hope your update goes better than you're expecting and will keep all fingers crossed, but can understand your worry x

What is AOA? I've not heard of that before?

Thank you @SErunner that’s great having that reassurance! Hope they have a great growth spurt over the next two days and you can even freeze some.

AOA (artificial oocyte activation) is used at times in cases where there is low fertilisation rate to see if it helps. Unfortunately I don’t think it has in our instance but due to the lower numbers it’s hard to tell as we only got 2 out of 5 last time we got 4 out of 12. I believe it’s a calcium solution of some sort that can really help with helping the oocyte a to fertilise.

Just wondering is it ok to have unprotected sex after EC if you feel up to it? We aren't doing a fresh transfer this time. But is it to be avoided because of risk of infection or incase of a pregnancy if doing a transfer?

I was told sex was fine by my clinic after our FET, I can't think of anything I'd like to do less right now but they did say it was fine!

We're doing a fresh transfer and were told not to have unprotected sex in that scenario.

@hereshoping123 I had a freeze all and was told no sex until after my withdrawal bleed.

I'm feeling really worried today, my lines haven't progressed the last few days. My clinic don't offer BETAs and the official test date isn't until Wednesday (13dp5dt - ridiculously late!).

Can't decide whether to stop worrying because they're still very definite lines, or to prepare for this to be the beginning of the end.

A friend has suggested a private BETA, has anyone done this?
