Anyone else getting emotional? It’s starting to affect me now about a week in. Also keep getting gulp horny 🙈

I’m a bit emotional and also a bit anxious which is making me irritable, luckily my husband is understanding!

I wonder if it’s the hormones too! I have so much cm atm. It’s like my body is begging me to try with all those follicles 😂

Really sore nipples aren’t great though.

I’m exactly the same! I don’t remember the cm from last time, but it was almost a year ago since my last collection 🤔 and my nipples are SO sore! Have you had any nausea?

I get a bit every now and then but not too bad. How about you?

Due to start my pre-treatment tests this week. Hopefully starting my first round in May after over 2 years TTC. I'm nervous !

I'm scheduled for egg collection this Friday eeek!! I only had 5 eggs last time but the stimms are much more intense on this cycle so the doctor is hopeful of a better outcome this time, fingers crossed!!

@Frisbeee eeee so exciting for you!! I'm heading for my transfer tomorrow which is exciting. I feel like every milestone seems to take ages xx

@CR7 Thank you!! That’s so exciting, keeping everything crossed for you for tomorrow! I think you just have to focus on one milestone at a time but totally agree times goes sooo slowly when you’re waiting!

Hi everyone and gd luck on your egg collections and transfers this week!!
I am on day 4 following embryo transfer. Feel so sick with anxiety today. Last time it was successfully I had spotting on day 2 but unluckily i misscaried at week 6. This time nothing. My boobs feel tight which I know its the progesterone and day 1 and 2 had some mild cramping lower down but yesterday and today nothing yet. So sick thinking it hasn't worked and I have another 6 days of this. I know if it hasn't worked there's nothing I can do about it but just feel so tired and dejucted today and so hormonal. This is our 4th round following womb cancer 5 years ago and knowing this medication can bring the cancer back as well. Just feel lifes so unfair. Feel like crying but don't want hubby to see 😢 can't help to think what else can I do both embryos used were 5AA womb lining and progesterone levels were brilliant. If it doesn't work then am to blame as everything else is perfect right??

Whatever happens you aren’t to blame, unfortunately we have no control over it. If it makes you feel any better my only successful round I had zero symptoms at all! I would say try not to overthink but I know better. Be kind to yourself x

@StaceyWS88 thank you am triying. Just having a major melt down today don't know why it's only day 4. Just feel there's so much expectation as well from my husband which is natural but just feels the pressure builds unintentionally. Gd luck to you hun please keep in touch on how it goes!

@Vallef please please don't be so hard on yourself. I know easier said than done. After a lot of unsuccessful transfers etc I went for genetic testing which has helped me immensely as three of my embryos came back normal. I therefore wasn't transferring any that weren't quite right.

I also had endemetrio testing where there are three separate tests (hence the name) and it revealed I have a displaced implantation window so I need six days of progesterone support and not five. Without that info we would have transferred an embryo today which would never have implanted x

@CR7 thank you I guess I have to wait and see what happens and take it from there. I've previously done so many bloods testing everything from nk cells, to my protein c and s and all different thrombosis and variants testing etc but we decided not to try the genetic testing because A it cost like an extra couple of grand and B they told us there's a possibility of them damaging a gd embryo but guess I should consider all this I know il keep on triying as long as my health let's me it just pushes extra pressure knowing the oncologist wants me to have a hysterectomy everytime I see her. Anyway I don't want to be bringing the group down everyone has their own journeys and worries without me adding on!

@Vallef we are here for the good and the bad. You're not bringing anyone down.

The genetic testing is not for everyone and it is expensive plus the £300 per embryo you test. For us (as i'm a granny at 42!) it was imperative and I have no regrets. I was sad to lose four five-day blasts but not once I found out they would never have worked. Therefore I saved the cost of those potential transfers and drugs xx

Argh you’ve got so many things to think about, no wonder! The pressure is awful but remember it’s not actually you! It’s your body and the drugs and all sorts of things you can’t control. If anything DH probably feels helpless in it all. You are worth more than what’s going on with your body. I am really hoping for you. You are also doing everything you can. You can really do no more!
