Thank you!! They repeat the blood test on Wednesday and if all still going ok then they’ll book the 6 week scan in. Have you got a date for yours?

I think seeing things on the scan will definitely help us relax a bit more!! I guess we’ve all had a tough journey to this point so it’s perfectly normal to feel nervous.

The clinic did say my HCG levels were high which can sometimes indicate multiples!!!! I did have a double transfer so I guess possible!

Oh wow! Imagine if you ended up with twins 🥰

I don’t know yet, I think they’ll arrange it tomorrow. I feel like it might be in two weeks?

My husband is really keen on the idea of twins, I’m less so!!!! We’ll be happy with anything/any numbers as long as we finally have a healthy baby!

Eeeek exciting that it may only be 2 weeks until the first scan!

@BiscuitLover3678 @Frisbeee ooooooo exciting! I had my bloods on Thursday after OTD on Monday and the levels were 3606. Did they tell you what number would indicate twins? Eeeeeeeeee xx

@CR7 Mine were 261 which they said was high but seems low in comparison to yours!! Good to hear yours are high though, things must be progressing well. I don’t think there’s an exact science to the number and multiples and it may have just been the nurse speculating. I seem to be starting all kinds of rumours now haha!!

Congratulations hun, that’s great news. Definitely normal. I’ve felt more on edge since my positive than at any other point throughout this process. I just try to tell myself to enjoy being in the moment and being pregnant and anything that comes along I can’t control but will deal with at that point. Not saying I always feel like that but it helps some of the time 😅😅.

But remember I am way ahead of you xx and the numbers often double overnight. I'm on a day five transfer of one embryo so unlikely to be twins anyway xx

Mine was 130 but my clinic got me to test on day 9PT so my bloods were on day 11PT what day PT were yours @Frisbeee ? Xx

@Fizzle1987 @CR7 thank you but sorry to hear you’re both stressed too! Honestly, the worrying seems never ending!!!

Mine were taken 14 days post transfer but I did have day 3 embryos so not sure if that makes a difference!

I'm sure everything makes a difference. And the bandings are so strange! It's hard to work out what it even means xx

I have more bloods on Wednesday to check my progesterone has gone up and they will check my hCG again just because I’ll make them 🤣 it’s not like I’m not paying for it haha. Hopefully I’ll get my scan date on Wednesday too.

@Frisbeee lol the stress really doesn’t stop, but it will all be worth it in the end xx

I was looking the bandings up online & the range was massive so hard to judge really!

@Fizzle1987 great that they’re doing your bloods again. Mine are Wednesday too but I have to pay so they’ll take the bloods as many times as I like 😂 hopefully I should get a scan date then too 🤞

@Frisbeee @Fizzle1987 as a guide my scan is booked in for 6+6. Some clinics do as early as 6 but my consultant said, by leaving it a bit longer much more chance of seeing a heart beat and therefore a much less stressful experience xx

@CR7 good to know, thank you! I’m hoping mine will do mine at 6 weeks as I start my new job when I’ll be 6+4 so would be good not to ask for time off in my first week. I’m not sure this news will go down overly well anyway!!!!

@Frisbeee congrats :) their absolutely right if you had a double transfer and your first beta was really high it is indicative of twins if not more as it's the same with me. But am holding off for next scan before I really let it sink in. Am triying to be pragmatic as well and I know twins is more risk as well on both embryos and mother although I have also read its considered slightly safer if babies each have their own sac which is called fraternal twins I think not identical twins sharing the same sac. Anyway congrats and take it easy!!

@Frisbeee you should check and see of they can scan you on a Saturday :) cr7 is right if you can leave it towards 7 weeks will be better. I had my first scan at 5w+3d because of the spotting snd not knowing what's going on so to calm me down they booked it early. But otherwise I would have had my first scan at 6w+5d I think. Now I have to wait til 7w+5d for next scan which was over 2 weeks and felt and still feels so far away until the 25th. But triying to say to mt self at least il get to hear heartbeats and hopefully my anxiety can reduce slightly!!

Had bloods done today to check my progesterone and its risen to 152 which is really good. Hoping to hear tomorrow if I can do my injections every other which would be great as I’m so sore. I also asked them to check my hCG level which is now 2051, so that’s good. My first scan is booked for the 31st which seems so far away but my consultant is on leave, I’ll be 7+2 by then.

@Fizzle1987 those numbers sound fab. I think you're exactly a week behind me?! I'm having my scan on 6+6 next week. My consultant said that if I could wait those few days longer, there was even more of a chance of seeing a heartbeat. If you go earlier, you risk not seen one and stressing out while you wait for a second scan a few days later.

Progesterone wise I'm on three pessaries a day and injections. How much are you taking that you're feeling uncomfortable xx

Yes, definitely 5 days as we tested on the same day but I was only 9DPFT and you were 14 right? I’m happy to have it on the 31st I just think it will be a long 2 weeks 🙈. I’m on 2 pessaries a day and 1 intramuscular injection in my bum, so either side of my bum is pretty tender where the injections are done. How are you feeling? Any symptoms yet? Xx

@Fizzle1987 I'm on lubion. Bit of a stinger. But don't have any side effects really.

Felt a bit sick today but no other symptoms. I had my final hcg results through from yesterday and numbers looked good so I just need to hang on for the scan next week x

So excited for everyone for your scans. I’ve been given the go ahead for my second round in my next cycle. Got my nurses consultation on the 31st May and more bloodwork next week to check I’m not anaemic after this whole palava. Fingers crossed we are second time lucky and I’m in the same boat as you ladies come end of June 🤞
