How are you feeling today @StaceyWS88 xx have you got your second blood test booked in?

I’m okay! Tired but I’ve been tired for about a week now. The nurse advised me not to book in another test as she said it could cause stress and confusion, so I’m trying to not test etc and just relax! Xx

@StaceyWS88 that's so interesting! My dr said there's no point having one on its own 🫠🫠 I wish they would give a consistent answer! It's very annoying xx

@Vallef I know you know lots about hcg testing. What have you been told

I hope you’re all well and congratulations on all the new positives 💜.

@StaceyWS88 try not to worry, my clinic would only have done one blood test (which was last Wednesday) and then would have done the scan 2 weeks from my positive but my progesterone level was so low when they did those bloods that they’re doing another blood test this Wednesday to check my progesterone level and will do another hCG at the same time. Xx

How are you getting on with the extra progesterone? Did they give you lubion? xx

I’m on Prontogest, I’ve found it okay, but the top of my bum is getting a little sore from the injections. Feeling a bit bruised 🤣. The spotting has stopped though which is a plus. My nurse said she thought it would once we got mu progesterone levels up. They were only 13 🙈.

Although i am tired but that could just be life haha

I'm on lubion which are my least favourite injection! And three pessaries a day.

I can't wait to wear nice pants again and not wear panty liners 😭😭😭😭

Lol I put them up my bum now as I couldn’t cope with all the leakage 🤣🤣.

how are you counting your pregnancy? From lmp still?

@BiscuitLover3678 when I called my clinic with the news they worked it out and worked out when I would have my scans etc. I had no idea how it worked as never had a positive test before x

@cr7 and @StaceyWS88 I've done a total of 5 cycles and I have always been told you have the first beta test. If the first test shows above 300 their high enough not to need another test but usually they will do a 2nd because it's not just to proce your pregnant it's to ensure your beta hormone is doubling as it should within 48 hours. Doctors say one beta test alone only confirms pregnancy and not that all is OK. Hope that helps xx

Thanks for the well wishes. Positive text again today on my OTD. I am hopeful but managing expectations.
I have cramping since yesterday which worries me and a pulling feeling up to my tummy at times.
Should I be getting a blood test now to check levels of Hcg or do I wait a while longer?
Is everyone still exercising as normal, nothing crazy but I like long walks...or is it better to chill out for a few weeks? Ive gained 10lbs of weight after 4 rounds of ivf in 11 months, especially around my belly. I know it's not the time to diet but would like to keep moving.

Thank you so much xx my first test was quite a lot above this but for my own peace of mind I booked another one. I feel more anxious now than I did in the 2ww 🫣🫣 hopefully if that comes back ok, I can start to feel more positive and less anxious. The stress rollercoaster is horrid. Xx

Also the scan went well but I was only 5w+ 3d at the time so was so early. Next scan is on 25th at 7w+5d which apparently is the important one. Feels so far away and in between there's so much anxiety. I go to pee and am scared not to see red blood on my panty liner and then when I wipe the same. It's so horrible that I try to limit how many times I go to the bathroom. It doesn't get easier tbh.

So my positive result was confirmed by the clinic today!! I’m obviously so happy but honestly more nervous than anything else at the moment. Is this normal??

I’m so happy for you! Do you have any scans booked? I can’t wait to get my 6 week scan over and then we’re closer to the 12 week one which is even more sure. I don’t know when I’m going to be able to relax either!
