@Katie12444 definitely ! Just take one day at a time over the next few days and do whatever you feel your body needs x

LittleDoveLove · 14/03/2023 20:40

Good luck @greentreeseverywhere and @MrsWatson84!

@Irisjj I have blood clotting thing too, I'm hetrozygous for Factor V Leiden, are you on fragmin for it? I have had to take fragmin (break for transfer) now back on it along with 75mg aspirin and the progesterone

@ObsidianDeck I had a late fertilised one so that could possibly be what that means. I only found out on my first scheduled transfer on Day 3 that I now had 3 embryos and was going to Day 5. They explained one had fertilised slower but had caught up cell wise to the others

Irisjj · 14/03/2023 20:50

@LittleDoveLove Im on baby aspirin and lovenox (low dosage heparine). I have factor two also heterozygous! I think the fragmin is probably comparable? Mine is enoxaparine for the general name (non-brand). But I was also on it with our last miscarriage - its just difficult to see if it really helps - but anything that might positively influence is good! How are you doing with the bruising? My belly is pretty blue but the last week im moving the needle quite a bit if I feel pain so that seems to be helpful 🙈🤪

MaybeBabyTwo · 14/03/2023 21:52

Hi all, good to read everyone's updates. Things moving along now for a lot of us.

We've got our frozen transfer on Monday. I'm feeling really nervous and very sure it won't work.

Does anyone know what's the earliest you can test for a FET? I didn't want until test date last time as I had a bleed so tested to be sure I'm out, then I wasn't lol.

greentreeseverywhere · 14/03/2023 22:08

Hi everyone after my vent the other day the transfer went well and I felt fine after.
They also rang later that day to say the one they were keeping an eye on was coming along well and they would let me know this morning 6 it was good enough to freeze.
Which it was! so we have a 2BB transfered and a 4BB ❄️

iv not done alot to day just worked at the laptop and walked the dog but I have really bad back ache! Hoping it's a good sign and looking fwd to a chilled weekend

Hope Sunday is OK for everyone it can be a hard day 💐

LittleDoveLove · 15/03/2023 06:23

@Irisjj think they are the same thing yes, I was hoping it might help but I guess it depends if the reason is that or genetic issue with an embryo.
Ok with the bruising actually, I had a couple that have caused big ones at the start. Then I got these tiny little circular ones and I'm mostly now just getting tiny marks if anything - so no bruises for now.
Still a bit stingy when goes in but not as bad as the first one I did!

MrsWatson84 · 15/03/2023 07:30

@greentreeseverywhere great news! I also had a call to say they’d frozen one for us too. So I had a 4BB transferred and a 3BB in the freezer. I’m just taking it easy too 🤞🏼

Good luck everyone, keep the positive updates coming!

I'm keeping you (and everyone else) in my thoughts. I've driven myself mad doing internet searches for the same answer, and it is this: it depends, and different stages differ for each embryo and woman (blast timing, implant timing, growth speed, HcG production timing) so in theory, HcG is detectable by the most sensitive urine tests at about five days before your missed period. On average it will be seen on any test the day before your period is due. But thanks to it being so unpredictable, it means there's a reason they tell you to test on day 15 after fertilisation (or 9dp5dt / 11dp3dt), which is the day of your expected period...

So realistically? An "early" test might get it four days before your official test day, but there are plenty of people who didn't get their BFP until two or three days after.

Am I taking my own advice? Heck no. I have two probably-negative tests sat beside me already (faint lines, but only appeared well after the test time) 😂

@greentreeseverywhere really good news. Take it easy and prioritise yourself. Xx

@Greenlee this is really helpful, thank you. So grateful for this community with questions like this!

LF82 · 15/03/2023 14:04

@Katie12444 sounds like you needed it! When is your first scan? X

Katie12444 · 15/03/2023 15:01

@LF82 got my next one on Friday. Still so tired though! Presume this is normal though. Hope you’re doing ok today?

LF82 · 15/03/2023 15:12

@Katie12444 I would just keep listening to your body & get the rest you need! You are adding meds etc to it so it’s bound to have impact. I remember one of the doctors telling me that. I am ok - impatiently waiting to get my period so I can start my next round. My fridge is full of all the injections 😂 x

Irisjj · 15/03/2023 15:57

@greentreeseverywhere thats awesome!! With all cycles which ended up with a BFP I had a lot of back pain!! So that was def a good sign for me. Hopefully also for you - ill keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Katie12444 · 15/03/2023 16:00

@LF82 yep. Another early night for me 😂 ah the wait is such a pain and oh my the injections take up so much space in the fridge. Don’t know what I was expecting… I start the cetrotide tomorrow morning. How did you get on with it? I doesn’t have the best rep on side effects according to google. Should I brace myself?

Hope everyone is doing well! I never thought reading other people's journeys would be so calming but it's actually really helpful so thanks for sharing!

I have a scan tomorrow morning to check my lining and hopefully start stims.
They were trying to decide between giving me ovaleap or menopur so I'll find out tomorrow which one we're using.

Been going through phases of feeling really positive then really anxious. This is cycle 2 and we didn't really get any good quality embryos last time so really hoping for a more positive outcome this time!

ponlm · 15/03/2023 20:05

Good luck to everyone on their cycles, it's strangely reassuring to read about everybody else's cycles to gear me up for what's coming up for me! I was referred at the end of Dec (having already had a scan, bloods and partners semen analysis privately and then finding out we were infact entitled to NHS treatment when we were previously told we weren't!) and now we've had dates booked in for a first cycle - it's felt like a total whirlwind that it's happening so quickly after 3 years of trying!! Starting on Norethisterone next week and then hopefully starting the injections in early April... feels like so much to remember!

Stopthatnoisemummy · 15/03/2023 20:20

@MaybeBabyTwo I'm having a FET on Monday too, so we are transfer buddies!

@nizo1245 good luck tomorrow.

@greentreeseverywhere @MrsWatson84 congrats on being PUPO. Everything crossed for you.

LF82 · 15/03/2023 21:06

@Katie12444 ok so cetrocide isn’t horrendous but the injection needle is longer than gonal. Make sure you watch the video on how to mix it a couple of times before you do it. I found it stung a little…. I had cetrocide in the mornings and gonal in the eve. Good luck! X

Katie12444 · 15/03/2023 21:11

@lf82 thank you ❤️ Yes, I’m the same. I’ve watched it looks big 😬

DP has COVID 😭He was coldy, tested negative Tues AM and then an immediate positive at 1am this morning. I immediately went to sleep in the spare room. Moving him to the spare room today because it's easier for him to be in there solidly, and deep cleaning rest of house. Masked up and sorted him with a hot drink, tissues, paracetamol; I'm trying to be supportive-but-safe (as possible) but needed a safe space to be gutted about our recent transfer without making him feel worse than he already does.

I am freaking out. He's had it twice before and I didn't get it the first time so I keep telling myself not to give up, but I know the strains now are way more transmissible.
