ICSI - embryo transfer complete!

Hi everyone - just wondering if there is anyone out there who has recently had their embryo transfer or going through their ICSI treatment now?

I had my embryo transfer (5AA grade) this weekend and feel a bit surreal!

It would be lovely to speak with anyone whose going through it right now xxx

Oh gosh @Imisscoffee2021 😢 I'm crossing my fingers it's nothing to worry about but I have read that bleeding can happen in early pregnancy. I bet that was scary though! I found this if it helps www.parents.com/pregnancy/my-body/is-it-safe/bleeding-during-pregnancy-whats-normal-whats-not/

Thank you @peanutpending , I didn't call my clinic as I didn't get any more spotting and it does seen to be normal, scary though! I got a private hcg test yesterday and it came back at 357 at 18dpo which means it's doubling since 32.2 reading at 11dpo. I've seen lots of higher HCGs at 18dpo but some lower too and I seem to be bang in the middle of the range. Fingers crossed! How are you doing?

@Imisscoffee2021 that all sounds like positive news! Scary though! I'd feel exactly the same!! Yes I actually feel okay now. Before yesterday I really didn't feel well at all but I seem much better. Obviously that made me panic so I took another test haha! The clear blue changed from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 weeks since conception within a day so I'm guessing the hcg is rising. I've found I can't eat a normal sized meal without feeling uncomfortable. Maybe my portions are too big 😂 xxx

@Imisscoffee2021 oh that must of been so scary for you. I'm glad your hcg is rising that's a positive sign and like @peanutpending said bleeding can happen in early pregnancy and be a normal sign. Hope your feeling OK today. My otd is tomorrow I'm so so nervous I still haven't picked up any tests yet, just want to be in that bubble a little longer incase it's a bfn. Xx

@Imisscoffee2021 thank you. I don't no how I have done it. I didn't think I could hold off not doing a test but my mind is now in overdrive of what ifs. So rather hope it's positive xx

Wow @Pippamorgan you have strong willpower! To be honest I was like you but then as soon as we bought them a couple of days before we couldn't help ourselves 😂 wishing you all the luck xxx

Took a test this morning and I wasn't sure if it was a line at all or an evap line.

Ooh! That looks so promising! Those blue tests never seem to be consistent with their lines, do you have any other brands to try? Did your clinic give you a test? Xx

@Pippamorgan that does look good! I'd do another but a first response! I did two blue dye ones and I just don't find them as clear. Xxx

They are awful ones I have picked up some more today so will do another one in a few days. I done a digital one aswell and that is promising, no my clinic didn't give me one just said to test on this day and then contact them with the result.

Omgggggg @Pippamorgan congratulations!!!!!! Eeeeeek how exciting!!! Can't get any clearer than that! I was the same, had to test myself and then give the clinic a call.

I've felt a bit strange over the last couple of days I just say. It just doesn't seem real! I feel like I'm not being as excited as I should be but I'm so used to seeing the negative tests! I feel like I'm being ungrateful but maybe it's the hormones! Xx

@Pippamorgan I'm still getting mild cramps and the odd sharp twinge at 4+ 5 so I think it's normal, lots happening in there right now! Has your clinic booked your first scan?

@Pippamorgan I felt the same! I'm still testing which DH keeps going mad about haha! My cramps have definitely eased off today! Xx

Literally the cramps came on as soon as I sent that post haha! I have the dog on my stomach as we speak! My personal hot water bottle!

@Imisscoffee2021 Mine are in one place today like a sharp twinge in my lower left side comes and goes. No I rang 6 times today to let them no the result to no answer I have left a message but still have not heard back, which makes my mind worse as I don't no what to expect next.

@peanutpending I do love a cuddle from the dog to keep warm. I'm too scared to test again incase the line is not darker or there at all xx

Mine come and go, had more than usual today and a touch of brown on a wipe but that's all, hope all is well in there but impossible to tell!

When I called the clinic they went from CONGRATULATIONS!!!! to....don't eat shellfish, don't exercise until after your scan, don't eat unpasteurised dairy products, don't eat pate 😂 they gave me the date for my scan and that was it really! I'm sure they'll give you a call tomorrow morning if you haven't managed to get through.

I'm sure everything is okay @Imisscoffee2021 - every time I go to the toilet I expect something to be there but just nothing all of a sudden! I did another test tonight 😂😂😂

@peanutpending @Imisscoffee2021 it's like being in limbo your on such a High, there's just the dread in the back of your mind waiting to see something everytime you go to the toilet. Definitely impossible to tell, another wait for both your scans now xx

@Pippamorgan for me it's more the dread is there and the high is at the back of my mind, til first scan at least! I had to tell my boss super early, I'm very private so hated talking about it all but I have a very physical job and I just hated the idea of ruining this through over exertion in the early stages, and there's no way of doing light duties at this time of year so I've got a bit of time off sick until first scan. I never take tike off sick so feel very guilty but really need to give this the best chance, took a long time to get here and alot of money!

@Imisscoffee2021 sounds like you're doing everything right. You've got to put yourself first. You've made it this far! I feel like you, I just need the first scan before I can relax and feel excited! Time is just standing still 😂

@Imisscoffee2021 definitely have to put you first, we have all gone through so much to get to this point, and never feel guilty this is our time to get our dream. Hope you achieve all your dreams and more xx
