ICSI - embryo transfer complete!

Hi everyone - just wondering if there is anyone out there who has recently had their embryo transfer or going through their ICSI treatment now?

I had my embryo transfer (5AA grade) this weekend and feel a bit surreal!

It would be lovely to speak with anyone whose going through it right now xxx

Hey @Imisscoffee2021 - I've had more cramping today and feel very bloated. The hunger pangs are on another level and I've had a couple of waves of nausea but nothing too bad. Feel exhausted after doing the bare minimum! Tmi but some cm! I also feel quite bloated but craving salty foods.

I tested again this morning on a FR and had a similar line. I'm going to do a digital tomorrow before calling the clinic. I did do a clear blue just a normal one earlier which was positive but I really do hate those blue dyes! They aren't as clear I don't think.

I think the symptoms really do come and go so it's nothing to worry about I'm sure!

I'm still worried it's not real! So anxious! Xxx

@Imisscoffee2021 that line looks very dark today!!!

@peanutpending I think the feeling if disbelief will be here till scans, or maybe even til babies are here! Writing that even doesn't feel real! Great lines, how many days post ovulation are you technically? I agree about blue line dye ones, I just did the digital weeks one, didn't realise they run out of battery so quickly so no keeling as a souvenir 😅 will you clinic get you in for a blood test or nothing til 1st scan? I'm going to ask mine for one as a gp would do one if it was a none ivf pregnancy.

@Imisscoffee2021 you know I don't actually know when it was anymore hahaha. Having the ICSI treatment has thrown me completely in terms of dates.

Yeah I think the clinic said we will get a 7 week scan but then after that I don't know. DH said about paying privately to get a 3D scan if it came to it. It's just so long to wait after everything. Xx

@peanutpending I've already spend £160 on two private HCGs! Only got one result so far though, on 11dpo. I can forsee my and my DH getting extra private reassurance scans after such a long journey to get here! For dpo if you had a 5 day blastocyst then I think its days past transfer plus 5 :)

Haha I don't blame you though!! It's horrible not knowing!! So I had my transfer on the 29th October which was 8 days ago and it was a 5 day transfer!

@Imisscoffee2021 @peanutpending best of luck to you both, I have everything crossed for you. I'm actually feeling OK today not many cramps today more of like a twinge now and again. Just want the days to hurry up now for otd. I really want to test already but I no I will be so heartbroken if its a negative so I'm holding off . Hope your both feeling OK and I bet its just not sinking in at all xx

Hey @Pippamorgan - when is your OTD again? I'm sure it will be here before you know it! I have periods of feeling absolutely fine and then I'll get cramps come from nowhere. I'm still not convinced it's real!! Xxx

Also @Pippamorgan I was the same as you and it was actually DH who said well if it's negative today there is also tomorrow and we just went for it in the end. I was so nervous though and couldn't look!

@peanutpending it's on Thursday 10th. Yea been fine all day now I'm getting some cramps as we speak 🙈. I'm actually so surprised it's gone so quick so far, trying to leave it as long as I can, I had the 3 dt also so might need a bit longer before I hopefully get a bfp. I'm going to be the same my nerves are already bad xx

@Pippamorgan it's so hard not to analyse every single thing! The anxiety just doesn't stop even with a positive test. I'm crossing everything for you! Xxx

It's the best way to be but so much easier said than done! We can't help it haha! Thank you 🥹 I'm nervous to test tomorrow in case the hcg has just gone 😂😂 I'm at the irrational thinking stage I think! We take our bodies for granted! Xx

@Pippamorgan keep me posted! I need to do another test in the morning before work and call the clinic with the results as tomorrow is my OTD. Paranoid!!!

@peanutpending we do but we all deserve our Happy ending. I'm sure it will be another positive for you, and yes I will do. Hopefully on to the next step of your journey xx

@Pippamorgan thank you :) I don't blame you for feeling scared, it's nice to be in PUPO land for a while! Incentive help myself unfortunately, always an early tester! Good luck for your test day, cramps sound promising as both I snd @peanutpending had them and got bfps :)

I've done my ivf clinic official test this morning, nervously as its less sensitive than the frers I've been doing, and got a nice line, and 2-3 weeks on a clearblue digital, so I'm going to tell my husband when I get home late tonight, can't believe it! Will still worry til I've seen 6 week scan location though! Infertility just makes me an over analysing worrier :)

@Pippamorgan I honestly thought I was out when I felt period type cramps and was telling DH that it won't matter what we do when we go away in a few months as I'm not pregnant anyway 😂 such a pessimist. I'm like you @Imisscoffee2021 - infertility does make you that more cautious and anxious! What did your partner say when you got home 😍

I tested again this morning and feel more positive about it all. Had cramps in the night and feel rough this morning so I I'll take the dog for a nice walk before I leave for work xxx

Sorry @Pippamorgan when I said take our bodies for granted I meant we don't give them enough credit really. They do amazing things. I'm just so used to expecting the worst 🥲

@peanutpending lovely lines! And isn't it fab seeing those words! I fly back to London at 19:30 so won't be home til near 11pm, I plan to not say anything til we're about to go to sleep and then show him the test :) he'll feel as I do that it's great news and the fjrst step, but until scans we won't count our chickens!

Awww keep us posted! What a treat! Yeah I feel the same! Waiting for the scan is now the next thing! I feel like I'm walking around so carefully 😂😂😂 DH is like "it's not going to fall out!!!" I thought that after my transfer and the nurse said "you can go to the toilet don't worry!! Xx

Been on the phone to my clinic, scan booked in 25th November! Feels a long way away!

This is such a rollercoaster week, was just starting to feel safe in this bfp and at the airport, had a pink gush when wiping, and investigating a bit with loo roll found some fresh light red blood :( I've had really wierd tight hip pain and right side stabbings today, wonder if there's a connection. Why can't this just be straightforward! Haven't got any yesterday left too so tomorrow will be a day of dread and mystery till I can check :
