Hello all, hoping to find some buddies on letrozole or clomid.

My history:
33yrs old, TTC #1 for 2.5 years.
Conceived once in Sept 2020 but fetus died at 11 weeks, MMC at 12 week scan and had ERPC surgery. No cause found (all tests apart from genetics done).
Assessments - AMH, bloods, semen analysis, hycosy, scans X3.
Results - v high AMH, not ovulating alone, tubes are clear, not quite enough cysts to get a PCOS diagnosis, DH semen is great.

Journey with letrozole (since Feb 2022):
2.5mg didn't work
5mg worked for a single cycle (ovulated) then didn't work
Now waiting out one natural cycle (CD35 and nothing happening) then will start 7.5mg

Also trying to lose a little weight to support fertility, stay in range for IVF

Hi everyone. Just joined after years of reading anonymously.😊
I'm 38, been TTC for about 3 years. I have type 2 diabetes so I have been taking Metformin for 1 year and I also have PCOS. My periods were irregular but have regulated after taking Metformin. Partner's semen analysis showed 3% morphology and 90% positive MAR (antibodies).
Had a Hycosy last August, everything looked good (apart from PCOS symptoms which I expected) and a retroverted uterus (which they explained was not a problem).
After a few months they prescribed Letrozole 2.5mg and found that I had ovulated. I have just finished my 3rd round with no success at conceiving. The fertility doctor wants to see me for a face to face appointment to see if she can prescribe more Letrozole. She did explain that if taking Letrozole is unsuccessful, I will have to pay for IVF (due to my age) but I explained that I cannot afford it. 😔
I am losing hope and don't know what to do anymore. Turning to the forum for some advice and words of encouragement.

Just got my period again last night. That was my fifth cycle on letrozole (but the first one didn't make me ovulate so they accepted not to count it) got the prescription for more so I can have two more cycles, but I noticed on the prescription is the number of pills and that's too many, so I can have one last 3rd cycle after they give up. A last bit of hope to hopefully bide me over the waiting to find out about IVF and how long that's gonna take
