Anybody having FET July or August?

Just waiting for my next cycle to start after a freeze all cycle. It should've been here last week but seems to be delayed so I feel like it's just a ticking clock. This will be my first FET, first ever transfer actually.

Anybody else in the same boat and want to keep me company?

@Agapanthus13 My beta is tomorrow. Jealous that you're so far ahead of me.

Spotting has stopped thankfully, and pregnancy tests are still strong so far. So we will see what the first (and hopefully second?) beta tests say. My clinic has high success rates and everyone raves about them, and they're very nice in person, but I literally get no advice past the next step. So all I know is come in for beta 5 August. I'm abroad so won't be going in until evening time in the UK.

I am only 10dp5dt I think so you're head of me? My transfer date was 25 July.

Did they book your scan for 2 weeks after your beta? I'm so ready for a scan but will be traveling starting 15 days after my beta so hoping they'll squeeze it in before I go away for 8 days.

@rtmhwales fingers crossed for the beta and so happy for you on the strong positive tests.

My OTD was today and have a positive, my viability scan is booked for the 23rd August. Bit of a wait xx

Agapanthus13 · 05/08/2022 07:37

Morning @Rtmhwales all the best for your beta bloods today, let us know how you get on xx I tried to do some googling to understand beta results but couldn’t find much and I don’t know anyone else who’s had them done!! Ah yes, you’re right, I’m 3days ahead as I had my transfer 21st, that makes sense as I also had my first beta on 11dp5dt.
My scan has been booked in for 16th August which was just under 2weeks from my second beta (26dp5dt) so hopefully that would work with your holiday? Either way, I’d just mention it as I’m sure if it only a day or so out they’ll be able to squeeze you in xx I’m going away the day after mine too!! that sucks they don’t give you more than just step by step, makes the unknown feel a bit more stressful I guess? I certainly find it depends which nurse I’m chatting to, some I’ve just asked and they’ve been great explaining what’s to come. Hope you’re feeling ok in general? X

Agapanthus13 · 05/08/2022 07:41

@Roobles79 ahhhh that’s wonderful news 🙌 bet it felt great calling in to report your positive? Had you tested early and had an incling or did you hold out until otd? You were 14dp5dt yesterday right? How are you feeling? 23rd August will fly round I’m sure xx and at least by then they’ll def be able to see what’s going on xx

JessLaw96 · 05/08/2022 08:40

@Roobles79 , @Rtmhwales & @Agapanthus13 so happy for you both!

Im three days behind you @Rtmhwales ! I had my transfer on 28th July. I took a Test this morning (8dp5dt) and have a faint positive! Im trying not to get too excited but I feel thats all I needed for a little reassurance
I will be testing again at 10dp5dt & 13dp5dt! I just want to see that line get darker now!

Gracie2021 · 05/08/2022 09:51

Fantastic news @JessLaw96 fingers crossed for even darker on 10 days. How's the dizziness and bloating?

Great news with the high Betas @Agapanthus13 congratulations. Hope your scan date comes quickly. I've heard the TWW between beta and scan described as one of the hardest with the anticipation. How are you feeling?

Good luck today @Rtmhwales how long will you have to wait to get beta back?

Massive congrats on the OTD positive @Roobles79. Hope you're feeling well.

4dp5dt today and still seeing blanks. Early days but no real symptoms since 2dpt so not sure how I'm feeling about it all. Logical brain says it's early days and could go either way yet so just hoping for the best.

JessLaw96 · 05/08/2022 09:55

@Gracie2021 thank you! I felt awful yesterday in terms of dizzy and such a bad headache with sensitivity to the light! Which made me so irritable as well! Still bloated but hopefully all for a good cause!

anything can happen yet! If your only 4dpt. I was definitely negative on day 3, and i would say as a day 8 post its very faint. Goes to show how everyone is so different!
fingers crossed for you!

Saltisford · 05/08/2022 15:00

@Roobles79 that’s fabulous news!

Not a lot going on with me - had my baseline scan and on three oestrogen tablets a day now. Not sure if transfer date yet until after the next scan.

does anyone know how long you must take these oestrogen tablets if the transfer is successful?

Roobles79 · 05/08/2022 16:16

@Saltisford thank you. How are you feeling? I think you have to take them for up to 12 weeks but maybe they tail off the dose. I'm not sure. X

Rtmhwales · 05/08/2022 22:11

Beta today was 535. So I'm hoping that's decent enough and keeps growing. They don't check until next week though Shock

ChristmasJumpers · 05/08/2022 22:27

@Rtmhwales I don't know much about beta numbers but hopefully with it being a week before the second one you'll see a lovely big rise 😊

I'm 6+1 weeks today and nausea and sickness started this evening 🤮
Horrendous!!! I'm off to a show tomorrow evening and really hoping I'm not sick while out!! I'm already going to have to do my pessaries in the theatre loo!

Gracie2021 · 06/08/2022 07:06

Sorry you're feeling so rotten @JessLaw96 the only consolation is symptoms can make you feel like something is definitely happening inside. Hope you're feeling better today though.

Great to have started @Saltisford best of luck. I found the FET cycles went so quickly in some ways.

Hope you're able to get to your show @ChristmasJumpers!! Nausea also seemed to be the worst side effect to me. Hope you're feeling better today. Have heard eating little and often can help.

Good news here this morning. I kept going back to my tests yesterday thinking I saw something. Ended up doing three cheapies and in the last one was certain there was something there then this morning.... a definite line on the cheapie and FRER!

Anybody having FET July or August?
ParkerH1 · 06/08/2022 07:17

@Rtmhwales congratulations thats a great number and it will keep getting higher.

@ChristmasJumpers take some plain digestives or rich tea biscuits with you it helps every now and again with morning sickness. Mine hits me every time I'm vertical but biscuits help occasionally so worth a try for you

JessLaw96 · 06/08/2022 15:50

@ChristmasJumpers oh no hopefully you will be ok when your out! Always interesting when you have to do your pessaries in a public loo!

@Gracie2021 thanks! Feeling a lot better today, just have waves of feeling abit off but all for a good cause! I have had 2 positives now! One being on a cheap on today at day 9pt and its a little darker than my first one yesterday morning! I have given in to the urge and will test every day until Wednesday to make sure its getting stronger then i will contact my fertility clinic for next steps!
congratulations on your tests! So happy for you!

Gracie2021 · 06/08/2022 22:26

Glad you're seeing progression @JessLaw96 a great sign. Are you booked in for a blood draw wed?

JessLaw96 · 06/08/2022 22:30

@Gracie2021 no im not booked in yet I would like to see a stronger positive before I contact them, so will probably contact wednesday as thats when I was advised to test originally!

Rtmhwales · 07/08/2022 00:01

Aww congrats @Gracie2021

I feel like so far we are all doing so well!

OP posts:
Gracie2021 · 07/08/2022 08:43

Wednesday is a good time for it anyway @JessLaw96 as you'll be about 13 dpt then? My clinic always books them for 14dpt which feels like an age but hopefully makes it more conclusive.

Fingers crossed we'll all keep riding the lucky train @Rtmhwales do you have your second beta this week? How are you feeling?

Spotting and massive cramping here this morning and not sure if I see progression. Keep telling myself it's the 48 hour progression you're looking for but it's hard to stay logical. What do ye think?

Anybody having FET July or August?
JessLaw96 · 07/08/2022 10:08

@Gracie2021 have you, its hard to tell in that photo if its darker or not, could be a possible slight difference though!

I tested again this morning and it was a much clearer positive 🙌🏼 We definitely do seem to be all doing so well! Really hope this continues!

Gracie2021 · 07/08/2022 11:59

Yay for the clearer positive @JessLaw96! Am I the only eejit carrying each days test around in my pocket to stare at it every now and then and remind myself this is real?

@ChristmasJumpers hope you were able to enjoy the show last night and the nausea eased a bit.

JessLaw96 · 07/08/2022 12:02

@Gracie2021 haha i know I have kept two on my side table that I keep looking at and the photos I took! Still doesnt seem real! I forget then I feel nauseous and remember and its so lovely!

Gracie2021 · 07/08/2022 12:15

A good sign to be nauseous so early @JessLaw96? 🤞🤞🤞

JessLaw96 · 07/08/2022 12:21

@Gracie2021 its mainly if i need food or drink but theres like not much warning in between 😂

WildSheep · 07/08/2022 13:34

I stopped getting notifications so I've just tried to catch up with all your posts! Lots of congratulations in order for lots of you it seems! Brilliant news

My initial spotting has eased of and I've had no bleeding for the past week or so, so that's good. I feel like I'm constantly going to the loo at work to check!

My scan is now scheduled for the 25th - seems such a long wait. I find myself reaching for the tests every few days just to check it's still there. I'm 5w+3 days today and have started noticing little waves of nausea. Not sure if it's just because I'm so headachy but have a feeling its the beginnings of 'morning' sickness. An excuse to stock up on some ginger biscuits!

Roobles79 · 07/08/2022 14:23

Congratulations on the positives every one. Feel extremely lucky and know that others will not have had it as easy.

know it must be very difficult for those who haven't got the news they wanted this time. So I hope everyone is doing okay and if haven't had good news, their clinic is helping you move forwards xx
