Is anyone else due to start treatment July 2022 or around then?

I thought to make this thread so that we can all have a chat whilst going through treatment so that we don't feel alone.

@PMAmostofthetime Gonna look into the ubiquinol. Also thinking of doing some exercise focusing on the hip area for blood circulation as that's very beneficial. I'm getting sharp pains on my ovaries today but it's only day 1 of ovaleap 🤷🏼‍♀️ did this happen to you?
Did you take time off for the 2ww btw? Try not to symptom spot, I became obsessed last time! Good luck 💛

@NaomiNatNat I was on Meriofert 225 and supracar ( Burserelin) - and I had pains sporadically throughout stims, painful boobs,some headaches and backache.

No I'm working throughout the 2 WW- just from home- in the first 5 days I didn't bend over and only crouched down when I really had too- was annoying of OH but he understood why and I'm still not lifting anything heavy or anything I don't have too.
I have OTD off if I get that far- last time AF showed up before it.

9dp5dt today this is the day AF showed last time but as I had a late transfer this time. I'm thinking it could show tomorrow so I'm anxious about getting through today and tomorrow.

@Eggling I think Saturday's a good day as we get the weekend to process the results- I'm overly anxious about AF showing x

@PMAmostofthetime I'm doing 375 ovaleap and 0.25 buserelin now. Need my follicles to be at least 16mm. Been asked to stim a bit longer this time (bit odd as they couldn't allow this last time)
Yep lots of rest for you, work is a good distraction I bet. I would say focus on Saturday. Does your clinic do hcg blood tests?

@NaomiNatNat I had to stim a lot longer this time but couldn't last time.

First time I had 12 follicles 8 eggs none made it to blast I had a morula and a cavitating morula transferred.

This time longer stims at a higher level. 24 follicles 20 eggs!

I have one on board and 2 B/B's in the freezer. Good luck.

@PMAmostofthetime 🤣 made lol I've got 6 FRERs and a box of 25 cheapo HPTs already!

@NaomiNatNat I was on the same meds as you 0.5 buserilin and 300 ovaleap my first round I was on 225 and got put up to 300 mid way started on 300 this time was defo a better round even though I'm 4 years older this time 😩.

I had my EC today and it went very smoothly - one minute I was laying in theatre thinking I feel a bit dizzy and the next I was waking up in recovery!

They got 9 eggs which I know I should be pleased with - but after having 35 follicles I can't help but feel disappointed. They said that most follicles they got just contained fluid ☹️ I don't really know why this would be? We're having IVF for male factor and I had sort of been banking on having good eggs to help correct any issues we have, now I can't help but think that when they call tomorrow with our fertilisation rates they won't be very high. Sorry to be on downer, again I know I should be grateful for 9.

@Tonim86 I'm glad AF has turned up - probably one of the only times you're pleased to see her! Will you be having a medicated FET or a natural?

@Bookbug92 I really don't know, no one has discussed anything else further with us I assume medicated as I took progesterone last time on fresh but I don't know for sure. Once we have our biopsy results I will give them a call to see what the next steps are.

Sorry to hear you feel disappointed but 9 eggs is great our first round we got 13 and 12 fertilised so you never know 🤞 our first round our daughter was our only blastocyst so it really does only take 1

@Tonim86 glad AF showed up and I'm pleased to say mine has not shown yet and hopefully it won't for 9 months.

@Bookbug92 it's quality not quantity- so they told me they always aim for 1 to put back and 1 to freeze.
How are you feeling? When will you get your next egg update?.

Last time AF showed 9dp5dt ( which is today, this time) but as the clinic still made me continue with meds I continued to have hope until OTD so I'm scared because if it's negative I'll still hold out hope and if it's positive I'll be scared it will fade. I'd be interested to know why some clinics OTD are 14 days and others 10 though anyone know? X

@PMAmostofthetime im pretty sure ours was 2 weeks too maybe 2wks is NHS and shorter if private? I thought if not a day5 transfer it's even longer still?

I just caved and tested as I threw up very diluted wee but it's BFP!

Excited but scared!

@mooneagle thank you- being very cautiously optimistic having lots of pains like I have strained my stomach but am excited for my first ever BFP! X

@PMAmostofthetime I always wonder why different clinics have different test days. I started to be skeptical and wonder if by getting patients to test early they get more positive results?? Mine current place is d9 and if it’s negative continue and test again d11, my previous clinic was nhs & there was d14. X

@PMAmostofthetime congratulations that looks strong, I didn't wanna say before because didn't wanna give false hope but raw meat literally made me sick to my stomach in early pregnancy with DD
