Hi,

I'm just starting this thread as i've kept joining previous ones in hope that I would be at the same time but got left behind with the ups and downs of ivf.
After 3 cycles, 2 failed fresh transfers, PGT-A testing to give us 3 euploid embryos and just now getting our results from the ALICE/EMMA/ERA tests, I am now finally in a position to hopefully start FET on my next cycle with a transfer likely to be end of May or early June!! 😍. Would love to have people to chat to who are following a similar timeline.

Yeah it tends to vary from clinic to clinic with norethisterone it seems, sometimes 2 a day sometimes 3.

@Babydust2u yeah it was totally normal, and when I got my period after EC it was the same, I was expecting it to be different to usual.

amh as well! Clinic aren’t concerned about it but it’s a little on the low side for me to happy

got though to clinic and had a bit of a go and they are sending the prescription before the nurses appt now. Still can’t see nurse for another week, 3 days after I stop norhisterone. Stims supposed to start day 1 but no plan for me in place until I see the nurse. Cutting it fine….. quite annoyed at them really

I've had my scan...lining is about 10.6mm so that's great, ovaries seem to be quiet so had a blood test to check progesterone is definitely low...will get the results tomorrow but if all okay they'll give me my date for FET. They now do transfers on a Thursday! Which means a day earlier, only they wanted to check my progesterone 48hrs after transfer which will be a Saturday...they won't do anything on a weekend so I'm a bit concerned!
@BlueSilver23 I found AF came about 3-4 days after stopping norithisterone then I started stims about 3 days into it, so approx 6-7 days after stopping the tablets...but you're right, they are cutting it fine and making it so much more stressful than it needs to be!
@SamTTC I hope you are okay, I remember you from the previous thread but so hard to keep up when everyone in the throws of it. Really crap about your clinic stopping for summer! I've never heard of that!
@LT103 have you heard yet about a date for FET?

How are you doing?
I had my update today and have got 3 embies in the freezer. Actually very sad as I hoped for more - on friday there was 9 developing eggs but only 3 made it to freezer. Still try to stay positive. This time embies have better grades (I think..) - 3AA, 3BB and 4BB (last time I had only BC-s).

@Babydust2u Deal, we can definitely be drinking buddies. 😂 I suffered all weekend long and had as much water as I could and now feel much more better, seems like my ovaries started to decrease back to normal.

@Reefy I had one double transfer before, but unfortunately embryos weren't best quality too, so didn't work. So sorry to hear, that you are going through 4th round..it is so difficult, isn't it? How long have you been doing IVF?

@Coops0406 My ODT is 30 of May.. as they put back 4 day morulas/embryos it takes even longer than 2 weeks this time.. I'm currently 3dp4dt, long way to go, but try to stay positive and hopeful. Hope you will get your FET date soon! 😊

@Coops0406 good news the lining is nice & thick but yes weird as you say with each Thursday then bloods 24hrs later but it's the weekend.

@VO27 that's good you have some for the freezer, it's rubbish isn't it just knowing how many you had then suddenly not many left. I've never had any to freeze & I pray I get some this time but I'm not too hopeful. Yes it's really tough, we had our first cycle in August so it's been a lot in a short time. I hope the 2WW passes quickly!

@Coops0406 inshould hear today. The chart with my progesterone, estradiol and LH looked like it was getting there so they’ll hopefully call this afternoon. She said it’s 5-6 days after ovulation so depending on results it will be sat, sun or mon I think. My clinic opens over weekend for transfers so doesn’t matter what day it falls

@Coops040 aw thanks for asking, doing ok today and dentist app tomorrow so hopefully sorted once and for all 🤞🏻 that's so great about your lining, really pleased for you and hope your results come back ok tomorrow and you get your date! Long awaited, how are you feeling about it?
@VO27 congrats on your three ❤️ I understand the sadness though when you'd hoped for more. But three is great! Stay positive and hopeful, it's great they are good grades too!
@Reefy that is a lot to go through in quite a short space of time, you are one strong lady 💪🏻 it's funny how in some ways time goes so slow but in others so fast. It's strange our cycle was just starting this time in February but it feels like ages ago or like it wasn't even us!

@LT103 sounds like everything is going in the right direction, really hope you get your date this afternoon if you haven't already heard back x

I find it all very hard knowing that IVF is our only way tho as I have no Fallopian tubes & that scares me but I keep going! Have got baseline scan tomorrow so let's hope all is ok with that 🤞

@Reefy oh I know, it's so hard isn't it 😔 but you are strong, stronger than you think. We all are, to go through this is so draining physically and emotionally but it will be worth it ❤️ good luck with your baseline scan tomorrow!! I hope you have a nice relaxing evening ahead xx

Got my call this afternoon so FET is on Saturday. Once the embryo is thawed and checked they’ll call and let me know when to go through. Not sure if I’m excited or nervous 😬

@HJen22 so have you! @LT103 that's great news! Not long now. It's prob a mix of excitement & nerves as let's be honest this journey is a mix of emotions!

@LT103 yeah nerves are totally normal! I remember my sister saying some about ivf and "exciting" and I was like hmm no not really 😂 but after a long wait since EC it's great that you're finally at the point of transfer xx

@Babydust2u @Reefy @HJen22 Thank you, ladies ❤By the end of the day I am actually happy and thankful for my 3 embies. Just really surprised about the huge loss of eggs and can't stop thinking what could cause it. Anyway I decided to stop whining and concentrate on what I have.

Seems like quite a lot is happening here these days, scans and upcoming transfers. Really excited for all of you and waiting for updates 😊

@HJen22 im at GCRM. I know what you mean. Anyone I’ve told is like oh wow this is so exciting and I feel like they’re all so much more excited than me haha. Just lots of waiting and worrying so far. Can’t actually believe we’re actually at transfer!

@VO27 3 frozen is great. I don't think anyone can really explain the drop off but they wouldn't freeze them if they weren't good enough...that's what a few people told me on previous threads so they should be of a decent quality 😊 I was similar in my last round with 16 eggs, then 5 embryos but only 2 left that could be tested/frozen l! It's deflating but you definitely have to see the positive that you have some, which is a good position to be in.

@HJen22 great your appointment is tomorrow...get your teeth sorted then that's one less thing to have to worry so it. I'm just itching to get to transfer now! I feel good about things this time but that means the crash down to earth could be so much worse 😩 But trying to remain positive...we've done all we possibly can so it's out of our hands now really.

@VO27 I know 3 might sound less to you but honestly remember it's about quality not quantity and you only need that one sticky embryo.. don't forget to be upping your fluids x

Hi! I'd love to join. We have a nurse consultation to kick off IVF mid June but I'm going to call everyday to try to get a cancellation. I was told I am on the long protocol - can anyone explain why it is long and not short. We have MFI and I have a slightly low AMH at 10.7. Thank you! X

@Coops0406 thank you. I know it's only a baseline scan but as I've had cysts the last couple of times the nerves are kicking in!

So just had my baseline scan & I have 2 cysts on my left ovary both measuring around 1.7mm so not huge but the nurse said I will need another scan on either Saturday or Monday depending when Aunt Flow shows up!
