Hi,

I'm just starting this thread as i've kept joining previous ones in hope that I would be at the same time but got left behind with the ups and downs of ivf.
After 3 cycles, 2 failed fresh transfers, PGT-A testing to give us 3 euploid embryos and just now getting our results from the ALICE/EMMA/ERA tests, I am now finally in a position to hopefully start FET on my next cycle with a transfer likely to be end of May or early June!! 😍. Would love to have people to chat to who are following a similar timeline.

@HJen22 I said to my OH god I've not missed this smell 😂. I was panicking more as it bank holiday but happy I sorted it. Thank you.

Yay @HJen22 glad you managed the injection yourself.
i had one or 2 like that where I felt I couldn’t get the needle through the skin 🤮

im now down a route of testing daily so did another this morning and line is def a little darker than yesterdays so crossing my fingers that the nurse is wrong and my numbers go up tomorrow!!!🤞

@BlueSilver23 @Reefy only a few days now. Can you remind me when is your next scan? Am I right is today? Hope everything goes as planned, keep us inform!

@FlyOnTheWall89 next week come by quickly. Can you ask them to do longer down regulation for delay the EC? I just realised this time mine was a week longer as I had some dates when I couldn't go scans and they worked around me with my dates. I read on the other thread that someone will do a 3 months!! down reg for some reason. Might be worst asking the question.

@Coops0406 5dp is usually really early to test! Yes we read a lots of early positives but just because others don't post it, if everyone would post they were the minority, trust me. Good news that your hormone level is high.

So I'm 7dp5dt today and had my usual night sweat before af last night, and my bbs don't hurt anymore. Still no spotting which is good, and I talked with my clinic to ask a hormone balance blood test, which they refused, saying those levels don't indicate if this cycle success or not. Still not planning to test early (it can change anytime 🫣) my OTD is next Monday same as you @Coops0406

@HJen22 Glad you managed it! It takes something to overcome your body’s instincts to not stab yourself with a needle! I’ve done all my injections myself but still hate it. Had a rather painful one this morning, and a bit of blood again. I do worry about how much of the meds comes out when that happens. Even when I don’t bleed there seem to be big blobs of medication tracking out!

@Dobcaty My final scan is tomorrow. So will hopefully have a final date then. And then I can finally start sorting booking hotels etc. Just hope there are rooms left somewhere in London this weekend!

@Reefy Glad you got the meds sorted. I don’t have anymore meds past Friday so a bit screwed if they want longer stims…..😬

Just been told to trigger tonight so EC is Friday! All that panic for meds 😂 I've just cancelled them! So I feel a bit disappointed with the numbers as have about 5/6 at the right size & feel haven't really got many more since first scan & where I've had like 12/13 collected before I know I shouldn't compare & be grateful for what I've got but it's so hard as we just all want so many 😂

@LT103 yeah it's like why is it not going in, come on 😂 oh I am SO pleased to hear that the line is getting darker. Everything crossed that your numbers are going up as we speak ❤️ hope you're keeping busy today, I can't imagine the waiting is easy at all!!!

@BlueSilver23 I know it's so bizarre isn't it! Hopefully tonight's just goes in first try 🤞🏻 well done doing all of yours yourself! I'm sure you are getting plenty in, perhaps try and hold the needle there before you pull out, I'm sure first time I was told 10 seconds and this time 5 🙈 but yeah, just don't pull back straight away and that might help with any coming out at the end.

@Reefy happy trigger day! And a rest from injections tomorrow. We all want lots, I have a low AFC and hoped for all these new follicles to have popped up at baseline, sadly not. But just keep quality over quantity in mind, and again a lot can happen over 2 days so a few more might catch up. Stay hopeful ❤️

@HJen22 thank you. Yes just covid test tomorrow then that's it till lovely pessaries Saturday 😂

@Reefy Good news! One less day of injections! Yes I felt the same as you about the numbers. Got a fair few eggs last time but this time not looking like the same numbers, even though I was on higher stim doses and number of follicles at start was a bit higher than last time. Anyway, we’ll see. Things change during the actual egg collection and sometimes you end up with more than the scans suggest. But quality over quantity and all that!

@HJen22 Yes have tried waiting a bit before pulling the needle out but still happens. Think I’ve just accepted that I bleed a lot at this point.

Great idea @Dobcaty - I'll definitely ask. It has and it hasn't but I've rung so many times, I couldn't have got a sooner appointment so at least I know I've done what I can. 🤞🏻we can get going soon! How are you feeling ? Xx

@Coops0406 @Dobcaty absolutely. 5dpt is early. Not that you want to go down my route but my first positive was 10dpt (prob would have been 9

i got some info sent through from clinic and saying that if levels between 30 and 70 at this point then 70% chance of miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. I’m only hoping that my numbers keep rising. I mean it says they test at day 10-12. I was checked on day 10 so maybe day 12 will be over 70 🤞. Still cramping and still having blood spotting first thing in morning which then stops by lunchtime. It’s so strange but def not normal for me so guess I can be happy at that.

@LT103 it is very strange! However, my clinic have only started checking progesterone levels, my last two they never checked and it is being researched more and more so they have only just started recently.
Glad your line is getting darker! This is good news! Fingers crossed your levels have increased for tomorrow...but also remember you could be in that 30% too! Stay positive 😍

@HJen22 well done for doing it yourself! I'm impressed!! I would be exactly the same as you with it not going in!!
I feel okay, a bit deflated and got a huge spot right inbetween my eyebrows! I feel a bit like I would normally a bit before AF really. Tested again this morning...BFN of course! Think I need to leave it now and just enjoy the weekend and wait for OTD!

@Dobcaty my boobs are less sore too! This whole waiting game is so hard! Just heard of another person getting pregnant first time with ivf and due in October! It's lovely but it's so hard when you're stuck in this storm! I should wait until Monday but I'm living in hope that I'm going to see some change!

@Coops0406 fluid finally going down, they think it was in response to the medications.
2 blastocysts have survived to day five! I got myself so worried I wouldn’t even have one. My egg transfer will be after 2 periods though as there still some fluid albeit decreasing. Hope they are two good blastocysts as running out of chances! 🍍

@HJen22 well done on your stims, they can be nerve wracking! I keep thinking about what you said and it’s definitely better not anticipating a call daily. 😅
@LT103 hope it goes ok for you tomorrow and keeps increasing, these things can surprise us all sometimes!

@Fluffykins33 thats great news!!! That’s what I did. We froze everything, I had my bleed following collection then had my call for FET just as my next period came and they started me that cycle. Because it was natural we didn’t need meds so just did transfer 5 days after ovulation. If I was medicated I’d have started later that cycle with meds.

will you just be transferring one at a time??

@LT103 hey! Yes will do one at a time to prevent multiples. I’m going to have acupuncture leading up to it. I know it’s not proven but I like the stress free 45 minutes :) you had quite a few blastocysts! Very lucky! I didn’t find the egg collection process that easy.

@Fluffykins33 Yeah I think it was just luck. And a high amh. I didn’t particularly love stims and egg collection. By time of collection I was really uncomfortable and sore. Like I felt like I could feel my ovaries moving when I walked. Transfer itself was easy but I’ve been achey and sore my whole 2ww! Like constant period pains. Just hoping it’s all worth it in the end!!! 🤞

That's it we pulled the trigger!

I've been feeling quite bloated since yesterday so glad to have it booked in. Of course it is quality over quantity but who doesn't want both 😂😂😂

Had scan this morning, no idea as to what the follicles are doing. When I asked she just said all ok, and said bye. 🤣 So no idea until they call later today about continuing meds 🤷‍♀️ Helpful
