@MollyVanDer I know what you mean, today is especially hard because it was this time last time my period started coming so I’m so scared every time I have to go to the loo

@MollyVanDer just started getting another symptom today, in case you’re interested x
It’s a rib cage tightening and soreness and also a lot of lower back ache. I noticed a right sided stitch just doing walk round the block yesterday but currently the rib cage feels so tight and like it’s stopping me from taking a good breath in

I've done all the crying for the world the last 2 days. I feel so overwhelmed that we've waited so long and now we are getting three. Which is amazing x but im worried incase they are so small & poorly as they could be brought early. X

@Justawannabemam aww it must be so much to process but there are plenty of healthy pregnancies that can go to term/ near term with multiples as well. My cousin in Canada had her twin girls through ivf and said they were the simplest pregnancy ever so don’t lose hope xx
Lol which symptom did you get out of those exactly? 🤣 I can’t keep up with them myself. Still got the really sore ribs and been struggling to swallow dry foods for couple of days now. So hard to swallow almonds and a couple of Brazil nuts. Have to keep chewing for ages before they go down! My husband is allergic to all nuts except walnuts and pistachio whereas I’ve always been fine with them. Maybe my body is saying it doesn’t like it?

The breathing rib one ! Like can't take a full breath that was a couple of weeks ago. X

Ahhhh 3 !!!! @Justawannabemam !! That's amazing congratulations!! I know it must be super scary, you never plan for 3 !

My af turned up yesterday! But I just need to ask a quick question.. it is tmi so I do apologise. But has anyone noticed more clots after a failed ivf !? I don't usually have my cycle show up until about cycle day 36-43 as I'm very irregular but this time as soon as I stopped meds it came about day 28.. and very heavy where I have to change my tampon after an hour and have biiig clots. I think I'll ring my clinic tomorrow just to make sure it's normal but thought I'd see if yous have had a similar experience

Unfortunately I had the same on our first cycle. Like tissue coming away I was convinced it was a baby but considering they are so small I don't think it was. I hope you get over this soon. Right now you'll feel like you won't. Give it a few weeks and you will feel different.

@Justawannabemam aw thank you I'm glad it's normal, it's just making me feel crappy !! We've got 1 frozen embryo left and then 2 more cycles after that so plenty time for me to hopefully get my turn :)

I hope you stay on the thread and we get to hear a out your journey through a triplet pregnancy and obviously wishing a smooth ride for you ! I can only imagine the worry but think of the joy when they're here safe with you at home :)

Seems like ages ago since we did transfers. I think mine was the end of that week that you did yours so I’m day 10 post transfer tomorrow. I’m still hanging in there as don’t find out till Friday x

@IVFGotThis05 my clinic warned me AF would be like that although it wasn't for me .

@IVFGotThis05 my period after failed cycle was definitely heavier and lasted a week.

@Justawannabemam @Bluehawaii29 thank you both! Im hoping for better luck next time for my FET. Im wondering if the consultant may suggest two next time or suggest stick with the one embryo. How did you guys decide on two? Was it a recommendation or personal choice? Do they let you choose?

@Gigi89x consultant kind of just put it out there which surprised us at first as was just one failed cycle so far and I thought they freak out about multiples but when she said it we suddenly got thinking about it and thought we’ll just do it as no guarantee which embryos are actually going to lead to pregnancy or not and would have been a long process eliminating as after the first cycle we were left with 4 frozen. What are you inclined to do this time if you had a chance?

@Gigi89x I think it depends on personal circumstances. For us our age was a factor, also first time the quality wasn't that great we didnt hve the choice to freeze. Then I think bc 1st round failed we thought two again. Increase our chances and here we are hvn three. 😍😍😍

I’ve had a really bad night of headache and sickness and weird sharp pain in tummy/ sides. Have asked if I can have the afternoon off as I couldn’t sleep till after 4 and am shattered 🤢😴

Hi all, so from being told that my HCG is plateauing and only seeing one yolk and egg sack on Friday. I've gone in for another scan this morning and its twins! Both had heart beats, one is smaller than the other but they're both there. Could have knocked me over with a feather if I hadn't been lying down! I'm in total shock as I was preparing for the worst.

@Gigi89x we were just offered the opportunity to put two back. There was no steer as to what was the best decision. But at my age (37 nearly 38) the consultant said that there was a 1 in 3 chance of coming out with twins..... This drops off the older you get. I think I didn't really think it would happen, but I'd look closely at the stats and what you think you'd be able to cope with if you had multiples!
